Switching Playstations

So, I have to PS3s. One downstairs, one upstairs. The upstairs one is the one I play on most and is 55gig, whereas the downstairs one is 120gig (I believe - never use it)

 

If I were to swap the playstations to move the 120 upstairs, and then sign in with my PSN, will it have all my game saves or is that tied to the PSS itself? (i.e I have 75 treasures on Uncharted 3, if I swapped playstations will I lose all that progess and start at 0 treasures?)

 

 

P.S I know that my trophies carry over.

If not PS Plus so yes but if u have ps plus its something called online saving, so it saves on the profile, so i think it should carry over aslong u got ps plus when u do it

Yeah you could use the PS Plus feature but if not you could just copy all your saves onto a flash drive and move them over to the other PS3.

Copy them to the cloud on the current PS3, then sign in on the new PS3 and copy them from the cloud.

Note that if you use a flash drive or external HD that some copy protected stuff you can't transfer, also you won't be able to earn trophies on the other PS3 with the copied files. If you don't mind losing stuff already on the 120 you can use the transfer utility with a ethernet cable.

Thank you for the warning about disabling trophies. I'll stick with the PS+ could way. Considering 55gig is only useful for 1 or 2 full games from + at a time, I may as well put my + to use this way lol.

Seeing that your a PS Plus subsciber, just back up all your saves onto PS Plus cloud storage. and BINGO!
