Extra modes and cheat menu

Hold down Left or Right + square + circle on 1 or 2 player and press start and you unlock Boss Rush or Infinite mode depending on the direction you held. 

 

On options hold L2 + Left + triangle and press start and you get the cheat menu. On this you can put unlimited health, ammo, grenades. Also you can choose a level to start on. With any of these activated you can get the trophies for completing the bonus modes, dog tag collecting, and S rank on level select etc etc. However even if you start from the beginning of the game with any cheat active you will not be allowed to fight the final boss. So you must practice if you want to complete the game still and get the platinum. Hope this helps people. 

 

I would also suggest if you are practicing a level for S rank and you find a short layout, pause and take not of the seed number and share for other players as this can be selected in the cheat menu. I found seed 35159 for level 4 to be very achievable for S rank due to the colored gem things being close together.

On options hold L2 + right + triangle and press start you can choose backer #7 - "JACQUI". then you can fight the last boss with cheats activated without getting game over screen.

So you can play from the start with Jacqui, fight the final boss and unlock the trophy? Or just fight the final boss?

from start to finish if you want to go for s rank lvl 7 you can always start from lvs 7 via lvl select with Jacqui

yes but the the S rank still requires a lot of skill

Here's a playlist of all of my S-Ranks on easy with all cheats activated. You can find the seeds I used in the description of the specific video. With a little practice, level 1 and 2 should be beatable on every seed tho. For levels 3-7 I used a second controller, which I controlled with my food. Takes a little time to get used to, but is really helpful (distraction + additional damage). If you have a turbo controller, you could turbo L2 to spam grenades. It would be even easier if you'd have a real person who could help you with this.  Remember, only one player needs to get S to unlock the trophy for both players. And good luck with level 5 (The Forest) - I found this level the hardest of all.

Edit: for vita, just replace L2 with the Left trigger and all codes should work

So If I’m starting the game for the first time, input all these cheats, including the one for the end boss all at the start and then there active for that save file indefinitely? Or will I need to input each time I turn off and back on, sorry, not used to older games like this, I remember having to cheekily open up the gaming magazines in the corner of the shops as a kid and copying the cheats that were inside into my school book while I was in the shop, back page of my school book was loaded with old cheats lol so it’s been a while

Yeah Fly, you need to activate them always, or when needed to. (replying late, I know, but better late then never) ahah ??

Yes, codes are still working. I'm currently using them on an up-to-date version.
