1. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas- the pinnacle of open world gaming on PS2 2. Final Fantasy X- simply one of the finest RPGs ever made 3. Resident Evil 4- the best Resident Evil game though

I don't remember playing too many different games on PS2. Here's the ones I'm most fond of

 

1. Driver 2 (Changing discs mid game is so nostalgic)

3. Kingdom Hearts 2

One of my favorite games on the PS2 and probably my favorite game from the GTA series. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. Now that was a fun game. I really enjoyed the story but also the details. If you went to the gym you could buff up your character. Or if you ate fast food all the time you would get fat.

Still is and always will be my favorite console ever. I can't believe it's been 20 years. So many wonderful games I enjoyed on that console. But my favorite is Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. After 16 years I'm still amazed by it's story, characters, themes, game-play, voice acting, level design, soundtrack, ending and yes even the graphics which still hold up pretty well even today. The whole game is a work of art. But some of my other favorites are

Back then I had more nintendo games than ps2 games and the list would be much longer if I wrote down the ones that came out on both consoles :D
Except the first 3, I could freely switch every listed game. I love them all, and I'm quite sure even though the last time I played most of them is more than 10 years ago, I'd still know how to play and be perfectly fine with puzzle or bosses etc.
This post made me remember my amazing childhood ✌️

I didn't even play 20 ps2 games, because i was mostly a pc player back then. I won't rank ps2 games that i played on ps2 but i'll rank the ones i played on ps2 (as well):
