TROPHY LEVEL 1000

For those saying Sony don't care and don't do anything. They literally just did an event based on playing games and earning trophies to unlock rewards.

I would like to see a prestige system. Once you hit 100 you can reset it and get a prestige icon on your profile like a miniature plat icon or similar then you can level up again. If 100 was a big goal for you and you don’t care about going any higher you could just sit there and not prestige if you prefer.

You're right, level is redundant, there's stack after stack of 15 minute platinum's now, anyone can be level 50+ in a few months if they have a big enough wallet.

Levels are useful because they permit to have a base of comparaison for all players. Because some have more platinum, gold, silver or bronze than others.

Those games are what ruined the system in the first place and all these multi region stack crap shows that Sony doesn't give a fuck about the system.

Anyone can have a level 50, 100 etc account, only basic skills are required to get there. It's pay instead of play for platinum's now.

 

One of my games could take me a month to do, alternatively in that time I could amass 100 easy platinum's. Trophy volume and level mean nothing on their own. You could be level 200, 300, 500, what's the difference? It's just about how much money you're prepared to spend stacking these games.

 

The only thing I take an interest in is quality of games and rarity when I look at someone's account.

I don't think it would hurt to raise the level cap. This doesn't effect me at all as even if myself and PSN both lived for 100 years, I'd still likely never hit level 100. But the trophy system is irreversibly fucked, so why shouldn't Sony at least cater to the people that like it like this?

I don't think it would hurt anyone to raise the level cap. I wonder but if you are tired of discussing nonsensical, fast, easy, ratalaika and co games at some point. There is not always only black or white. Everyone should do it the way they want. If you absolutely want to measure yourself on a virtual platform, you have to live with it. The main thing is to have fun. You shouldn't have to justify yourself for anything else and such statements go in and out of my ear canal.

Just had a thought, what if they retroactively added a new type of trophy to your profiles that was for 100% in the base of games with no platinum? Like a black trophy or someone.

well  you don’t really know me to say that ^-^ but it’s okay I respect your opinion :3
Who cares what others saying about Profiles and what trophies we earn we do what makes us feel better, I wrote my experience after playing PC and many old consoles besides No one have to be jealous of anyone. The true gamer will not like summary and spoilers writing games stories for attention and gain money only.

Your Lvl and your hard work all gone for nothing, that’s something I learned how to save my time and enjoying the trophy system? only if Sony company close that time I will see if I can keep playing games for goals I will choose more carefully, to be honest, my dad says stop buying games or anything related to games I wish I can but I keep telling him it’s something that I can’t leave it easily he knows all this temporary  ...Not all people will understand how soundtracks and the beautiful games touching our hearts.

Sony doesn't care about trophies, except for when it comes to shit quality games that bring in the trophy whores' money. Then it's who cares about quality. I don't think they will change anything, it was apparently too difficult to be able to even sort or have a way to organize our trophy lists so they won't update anything or improve their system imo.
