Thanks to a recent online leak, it seems that a new version of Mortal Kombat 11 will be released sometime in the near future.

 

Presumably, the Aftermath Kollection will include every piece of DLC content that has been previously released for Mortal Kombat 11. However, it has been rumored that there will be an additional piece of content included in this version of the game in order to justify having to purchase the game an additional time. Most of these rumors point to Robocop potentially being a new fighter, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

 

There's still a lot that remains to be seen regarding the Aftermath Kollection, especially when it comes to additional content specific to this version of the game. It's possible that Robocop could be a new fighter, but there have also been rumors that Ash Williams from Evil Dead could be making an appearance as well.

 

Hopefully, more information regarding the Aftermath Kollection and the second Kombat Pack will actually get confirmed in the coming months. Having said all this, it seems a bit deceptive to have fans of Mortal Kombat 11 buy the game again supposedly at the same retail price, just to have all this additional content included. Perhaps, NetherRealm will release a DLC bundle that allows players that already own the game to get all of the DLC from one place.
