sandromnator
Coming back to wanting to platinum LBP1(Which is almost 7 years), and I'm baffled by how much I need to do, and some things I will need partners which is almost frustrating to organize. Also, LBP1 didn't really age well in terms of controls. Everytime I collect a prize bubble I lag a bit, and the jumps are way too floaty and sometimes unresponsive, making the plat just that much annoying to get. I wouldn't mind doing it if it was a simple completing in hard etc, but lots of tedious online and ace stuff that literally gets in the way. If anyone has anything, I'm all ears, if not, I guess this game will be the "one that got away", so to speak. Tempestad_cl
You can do almost everything by yourself if you have 50 accounts. Ace stages is the most difficult part of the games and bubbles can be gotten with a community stage.
Dr_Mayus
Well as mentioned the online stuff is easy to boost so that is not a problem. Also not sure what you mean by "completing in hard" but then not wanting to do the ACE stuff. That is "hard mode" and besides a few levels it is not that bad. As someone who has platinumed all LBP games (and almost 100% all of them) they are all doable with a little patience.

If you get all the prize bubbles within a community stage, you get the Booty Master trophy?

Yes This method for collecting the prize bubble trophies from the community is highly suggested over any other means.
dieselmanchild
I’m also curious like the OP about what kind of grind I’d be realistically looking at in starting this game now? ? I’ve never actually played a LittleBigPlanet game before, but I’ve always been interested in checking it out! But being such an old game, the online/multiplayer components look to be an absolute pain in the butt (I can almost feel the tedium just by reading through the trophy guide lol). That 50 heart stuff in particular sounds pretty draining. Yikes! What do you guys think? It seems like this game was immensely popular back in the day. Is it worth to take the plunge now? Honestly it is not that bad. There are more than enough people still boosting the game that getting the 50 hearts is quite easy. The hard part is the few levels that require a bunch of retries before you can Ace them and getting all the prize bubbles. I loved platting each LBP game (even LBP3) and can say they are among my favourite platformers.

I don’t want to miss out on them, I just wish I’d been around back when LBP was at it’s peak popularity, as it seems to be a very community focused game with the level building and social system built into it. I’m sure it was a blast back then.

I went back to this game after basically 10 years a few months back and the ace trophy is all I have left, honestly it wasn’t difficult or time consuming because of the following: There is a guy on this website that has a continuous session open that helps with most of the awkward online trophies (Create, party person, socialite etc) he helped me unlock them in around 45 minutes. For the booty master trophy you can use a modded lobby to autopop the prize bubbles trophies for you (Already linked in this thread) For the share trophy you can just play 150 1 second levels which doesn’t take long at all. For the ace trophy you can use the Overlord glitch to ace each level as soon as you enter it (there’s a video online of a guy speed running the game in around 20 minutes using this technique). How hard are these levels to ace compared to LBP3? I just finished acing the levels in that game and looking to get the platinum very soon. Once I do, I want to go back to the previous 2 now and am curious how the difficulty compares.

I would say LB1 is the hardest but only a few levels would pose serious problems. The Bunker is one that will take a few attempts. 3 is definitely the easiest of the 4 games.
