Popular Post objectioner
I've been playing this game a fair bit and enjoying it more than I thought I would. So because of the lack of consistent information and advice about certain trophies, I thought I would share as much as I have learned to help as many people as possible. Survivor related trophies: Meddling Kids Incapacitate the bioweapon 3 times in a single match. The trophy is pretty easy to get IF you know what you are doing, its theoretically possible to do it solo with Becca but luck has to be on your side. By far the easiest is Alex's Yatevo plant - its the only bioweapon that can actually die, so its easy to tell when you have 'incapacitated' it. You can do it with G-Birkin but its very inconsistent and Mr.X's only weak spot is his head so don't bother with him. At a minimum you will need: A level 17 Valarie that can buy infinite molotovs A Becca with increased damage perks and a Grenade laucher she use her infinite ammo skill on + bonus: level 17 January who can buy special weapons i.e. launcher for Becca Yatevo is extremely weak to molotovs and the acid rounds from the launcher. The plant has multiple hit boxes, so splash damage kills it quickly - it takes about 6 molotovs + some other damage to kill it, you will now this has happened because the plant will wilt open and deflate. The Rocket Launcher does high damage but is slower and doesn't do as much splash damage per shot that the launcher does. Make sure though you build up enough time to allow 3 Yatevos to appear - you should kill one in area 2 and two in area 3. The hardest part is getting an Alex as the mastermind, and then to have one that's low level before she unlocks all her infection ability active - they will tear through the time fast. The first group I helped with the trophy, we went about 1.5-2 hours before getting a single Alex user. Annoyingly enough the second group I helped we got a rank 1 Alex on the first match. Also why the hell was this a bronze trophy and not a gold??? Sharing is Caring Have all Survivors possess at least 1 special weapon at the same time. Pretty straight forward but works best with a group that's together rather than randoms online, saying that I accidently got it with randoms online, so they aren't all bad. You will need either: A level 17 January who can buy special weapons - can buy up to 3, rarely a 4th A supply zombie, they drop 1-2 special weapons Area 3 of the casino - the slot machine in the central area spits out random special weapons but there is a cooldown. Some variation of all three of the above. All player must be holding a special weapon with at least 1 ammo left in them. Can't Touch This As Tyrone, escape without being grabbed by enemies. This one is a real pain to do legit, especially because Tyrone is a very hands-on character, focused on kick down doors and melee-ing enemies. If you want to cheese this one, they only 'good' way to do it is the cowards way. Hopefully you end up in a competent team who can push through the objective while you 'bravely' hide in the safe room until the exit is open. Its not entirely clear what a 'grab' is, zombies/bioweapons are obvious but its not clear it leg traps count, so try to avoid them. The dogs are the worst ones to avoid grabs from. Its not an honest way to do it but it gets results - the Casino is the best one to attempt it because the exits are very close to the safe rooms. Mastermind related trophies: One Punch Defeat Survivors using the Tyrant's Bull Rush 2 times in a single match. This is pretty tricky but I would advise using practice mode to get to grip with how the move works - its the punch not the charge thats the damage dealer. When doing the move Mr.X can get caught on the environment and throw his punch early. When doing the rush you can cancel it early to immediately have Mr.X throw the punch which does the most damage - about 500 points. You want the enemies to be either in yellow or red status to hopefully get the hit to kill them. If you do knock one down successfully, you might be lucky and have someone revive they same person you just knocked down. If you wait for them to get fully up they should be on red health, meaning an easy 2nd knockdown. The Best Defense Is a Good Offense Defeat a Survivor using a controlled Security Guard Zombie in Area 2. Some people are struggling with this one but its not too bad - Daniel Fabron is the best choice as he favours controlling zombies, especaily with the damage increasing perks you get from chests.. If you are really struggling with it, level Daniel to level 14, here he unlocks the upgraded passive skill that stops players from knocking you over/stunning you. Also use the red buff on him to give him extra speed and damage. I've still got a lot of Mastermind related trophies to get, so I will be updating this post as I go along. If there are any trophies you need help, just ask and I will add them to the list. EDITS: Powerbuff Girl As Annette, have a creature with 3 buffs survive for 1 minute. You can do this 2 ways: Get Annette to rank 19 - here she will unlock a buff that applies all 3 effects, you can use this in area 3. OR better yet, well Daniel reaches level 13 he unlocks the 'regenerate buff', so buy now you should have access to all 3 individual buffs. Simply use them a zombie that's as far away from the survivors and by the time they reach it you should have the trophy. Weird Flex but OK As Daniel, use Creature Cards that cost 4 or more Bio Energy units 4 consecutive times. Some are finding this one tricky as well, again there is 2 ways to achieve this: Either load Daniel up with as many level 4+ creatures, carefully manage your cards to get as many high level monsters to appear, and then when you reach area 3 you should have access to the level 5 armoured zombie - then unload all your zombies. OR if you don't want to clog up the creature cards with unusable high level creatures, if January is a survivor she should use her skill to cause your card to cost double, so a level 2 will become level e.t.c This is how I got the trophy. When the Explosion is Just Right As Alex, use Yateveo's Self Destruct to defeat 1 Survivor during a match. Use practice mode to get to grips with using Yatevo, its a little awkward to use. Unless you are Alex rank 24, you will need to 'devour' a player first before you can explode. The explosion does have a pretty big range with decent damage but the closer a player is the better. Use the attack that shoots a vine through the floor to weaken them - this move even works through wall as long as you see the other players name. The hardest part is facing a team that's not trying to blitz Yatevo for the 'Meddling Kids' trophy. Minesweeper As Alex, use traps to defeat Survivors 4 times in a single match. This was my last trophy I needed and it wasn't too bad, I got at Level 5 on my 2nd attempt with a perk that 'slightly increase mine damage'. Alex does get better mine upgrades at higher levels if you are still struggling. A bit of luck and foresight should get you through this - you will need Mines, High Explosive Mines, infection mines, and the clone card to copy the last card you used. Also a room with the lights of in area 2 with a key card console will do wonders. Use the infection mines to constantly weaken the survivors and then constantly spam the mine cards along with 0 point crawling zombie to distract the players from the mines. You can also wait until a downed player is revived and fully standing to then detonate a mine near them to knock them down again. In a dark room they wont see whats coming! If there is a high level Martin as a survivor, you probably won't be getting this as he will constantly and quickly disarming your mines. Look below as other helpful players have posted their advice as well. Edited April 12, 2020 by objectioner updating info
ObsceneSociopath
Good advice. I'd also like to add that for Can't Touch This, Spencer is the easiest Mastermind to try and get it against. He has no Bioweapon & the majority of Spencer players rely heavily on guns & little else significantly lowering the risk of getting grabbed, I helped my friend get it against the first Spencer we came across after he'd been unsuccessful getting it against others. I Need Healing While it does sound daunting finishing a match without ever healing yourself as Sam considering he specialises in brawling & self healing skills, (I got it alone playing as Sam but it took a while,) it can be made very easy if pair up with a Valerie. If they have access to her rank 23 heal, every 90 seconds she can fully heal Sam & everyone else in the radius consistently & anyone with a first aid spray can also do so. I would just advise dropping your green herb as soon as the round starts & also assigning something else to the shortcut on the dpad for it so you don't accidentally use one if you pick one up again. Mog
Here are the HP values of the Survivors: Tyrone has 1400 HP Sam has 1300 HP Val and Jan has 1200 HP Becca has 1100 HP Martin has 1000 HP Might be useful for some MM trophies, keep in mind that this is based on the PC version. I assume it's the same on console.
MinamalTypos
I don't have Meddling Kids yet, but the hardest thing seems to be finding a person who uses Alex as the mastermind. Most of the time you just find Annettes and Daniels with the occasional Spencer.

This makes this game a much longer grind for platinum as I wanted it to be :-) I hate this stupid online trophys where your own skill won't help you much. The problem is the "if" in the beginning.
Quetschboy
Hi together. Has anyone figured out a way how to plan to boost the meddling kids trophy? Has anyone tried with a group of people (4 Survivors and a fifth person who searchs a Mastermind match all simultaneusly)? Its theoretically possible, when helping others boost for the 'Meddling Kids' trophy we faced the same Masterminds a couple of times. But I think the chances of matching up all 5 people consistently and the fact you can't easily quit a match from the lobby if you get the wrong person, makes the whole things a rather pointless endeavour.
