Infinite xp and gears

I know its an old game now but I was wondering if anyone knows if the glitch still works? I can’t seem to get it to work, but don’t know if I’m doing it right anyway. 
 

I’m playing it again purely to get it finished off the backlog, and I’m terrible at it. Don’t know if it’s the camera I can’t get to grips with or what but I’m finding it so hard. Time to GitGud.

I was able to use the glitch for money, but not XP, so they must've patched it because I've tested pretty extensively

Please, how to make a glitch for money?
