Trophy Guide Tomorrow + Quick Tips

Just writing to inform you fine people of PSNP that the trophy guide for this game will be completed and submitted for review by tomorrow afternoon. With details for the trophies, videos, and screenshots to ensure you get the platinum as easily as possible! 
 

Below Ill give some general info to give you an idea at what you are looking at when starting up this game. It you have any questions, i will also answer them below!

 

• Every trophy EXCEPT “Mercenary” can be boosted in a Private Match. This is because this trophy specifically says “play 100 quickplay matches as a FT member”. With that being said, the “experienced hunter” trophy for playing 50 matches can be done in private or public matches. (Or a combination of the two)

 

• The ONLY trophies that require a full team of 4 FT members and a Predator (5 total people) are “Traditionalist”, and “Precision Leaper”.

 

• Most trophies do not save your data until the game is completed. Such as destroying 250 barrels / 100 tree branches, or get 50 captures with your net and bear traps. These trophies also pop at the end of the match they are earned in.

 

• Most of the trophies can be earned with only 2 total people. (One predator and One FT member). For example, the trophies for killing the predator, killing an entire FT before they escape, killing a FT when your mask is destroyed, escaping as the sole survivor (this one can even be done in a game by yourself), defusing a predator, downing a FT member when overloaded etc.. can all be done with just one other person. 
   
• There are two trophies that require a minimum of 3 people. Those are the ones for reinforcing your team (you only need to reinforce one teammate when they die) as well as hitting two people at once with a disc throw. 

 

• The trophies for 1,000 FT headshots, 500 AI predator kills, 100KM in trees, 250 barrels, 100 branches, and even 100 successful exfills can be done with only yourself. You can literally start a private game with yourself and play as either the predator or a FT member. This makes it easier so you arent fighting with 3 other teammates to get AI kills or struggling to get 100 exfills. 
   
• Dont worry about looking for fast XP methods. You will be level 100 long before you get your 1,000 claims. 1,000 claims will take you a long time to get but they can be earned in private, public, or a mixture of the two modes.
   
• All of the Combat trophies can be earned when you are level 68 as this is what unlocks the minigun for the “Blaines Revenge” trophy. (If you preordered the game, you get this mingun from the start. If this applies to you, you only need to get to level 42 to unlock the combistick to get all the combat related trophies)

 

I will he honest, there are bugs in this game. Especially with the Traditionalist trophy. With that being said, all the trophies can be earned.

 

Difficulty: 4/10 (technically a 1-2 if boosting)

Time: 100+ Hours

For the 250 barrels, do only the bigger barrels count? I've also been shooting gas cans, hoping they count.

If its red It counts. Barrels, gas cans, canisters, anything that explodes.

 

Anything that had a yellow hue to it when playing as predator and using their vision indicates that it blows up and will count for the trophy. I got the trophy even after shooting the explosives that are attached to vehicles in the game and those aren't even red.

Hi, does anyone know how to get this trophy - So Close, Yet So Far... / As the Predator, kill the entire Fireteam while they are waiting for the exfiltration chopper.

There has to be full fireteam, 4 people? When exactly you have to kill the entire squad, when the chopper is on the way or when he drops the lines?

Only needs to be one person on the Fireteam. When they drop the flare down you need to kill them before the chopper gets there. If the chopper comes and drops the ropes, even if nobody escapes it wont matter. You have about a minute from when the flare is dropped to when the chopper comes to kill them all. Just get one friend and do it in a private match

Yes they do. As long as they are Fireteam members, any claim will count towards the trophy. The only ones that do not count are ones done on AI enemies

Splash damage - it says in the guide you can get this on your own as the predator by using self destruct. I can’t self destruct in a match on my own. Whenever the a.i. Down me, the match just ends ASAP, saying they’ve escaped.

You need 4 real players on the Fireteam for this to work. For some reason, this trophy doesn't pop with AI players. It is very easy once you have a full enemy squad. Get them all to line up together, leap high above them and hold R2 to slam down on them. As soon as you do it correctly, your trophy will unlock.

I know of a few people able to unlock traditionalist without a full team of 4 humans players. I'm not sure it's still bugged like some people are saying.

any advise for the 100 kilometres/62 miles in trees it is a little bit boring doing this trophy (Predkour master)

Any tips for deactivating the bomb? We are trying in private and there isn't enough time. It's much less the 30 seconds i read you have. Any modifiers that help?

I will share what helped me, pretty much all there´s to know. I use Scout-duelist with the middle pistol fully upgraded (extended mag), perks: Yautja´s bane, quick release, action hero. This class also gains damage if rush (sprint) towards the wounded predator and manage to start hitting it. As soon as Predator is down take the pistol and just shoot ASAP non stop in the face, drop mask ASAP, interact with the glyph ASAP.

I think that was the magic number for me as well

 

 

Regarding the 500 AI kills with Predator.

If you play in private, you kill AI until the time runs out? Or should i put Fireteam bots to kill them and finish the match? I wonder how long it takes to find them

I put 5 minutes duration and killed as many AI as possible. Sometimes they would just be standing near alarm not turning it on or even walked back to me and stand there looking at my face,LOL.

So kills count when time runs out? I never saw what happens if a quickmatch's time finish

They do count. Just as long as the match ends.  I wanted to test playing quickmatch with predator to see if I get more kills but the trophy popped so fast,I guess I killed a lot of AI grinding other stuff.
