The original Final Fantasy VII and Trials of Mana also have PS4 platinums just like their remakes.
What’s your point?

I believe it's a complete remake and it should be a lot of fun.  I'm wondering now if it's an early release because it wasn't due out until july I believe??

Some games can get their trophy lists published weeks or months in advance. It’s not uncommon.

Minor thing but I kinda think it should say Remake in the title to differentiate it from the Destroy all Humans already on my list.

The remake is called "Destroy All Humans", and if you look closely, the original is called "Destroy All Humans!" ?

Edit: Based on the gameplay previews and my memory, I honestly can't tell if they found new voice actors to re-record all the dialogue, or if they kept the original voice and script from the PS2 game. I'm not sure which one would be crazier.

ok but that doesn't mean it couldn't possibly be coming out early does it?  I mean i've been doing this awhile i realize trophy lists sometimes get published well in advance.

They (THQ) just tweeted a week ago about the July 28th release date. Highly unlikely they'd change their mind in one week...

Theyre using the same audio from the PS2 game, no rerecording at all as far as I know

they kept the most important voice actors from the original, Orthopox (voiced by the same guy who did Invader Zim!) and Crypto-137, and had them re-record dialogue. The trophies themselves don't seem too hard, just some repeating side missions to get better scores for the challenges. It's actually quite similar to the original list, but without the terrible 50,000 brains trophy!
