Apparently something got stolen/damage and is down entirely several blocks all over where I live, so any games that require any online connection are not happening for me. Erica was fun, I enjoyed just doing a playthrough whenever I had time, I played blind first and it was a blast then I just look through a guide I didn't really follow but keep an eye for the "collectibles" to make sure I didn't miss any, a few scenes were so awkward but honestly it was pretty good. I'm now playing Lovers in Dangerous in space time with my sister in what will probably little bursts at time and I am not sure what I will do about the rest of the games in my list, they will get done but probably not all by the deadline, but that's ok. Thankfully I also managed to find a random, so the online trophies are done for me too.
Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Happy Friday everyone! Time for an end of week update while sipping some coffee. I hope everyone will have the chance to have a nice weekend incoming. This weekend i'm going to work away on the three games i'm playing at the moment and hopefully get my 150th platinum. Outside of that, I have a pizza in my future and some horror movies I've been meaning to check out. Resident Evil 3 Remake I made some good progress on this to a point where I only need 2 - 3 more quick playthroughs to get it done. I'm not as invested in this game as I was with the Resident Evil 2 remake. That game was really compelling to master and I put the time into getting S+ ranks on everything even though you didn't have to completely to get the platinum. With RE3, it's less compelling for me for some reason and it seems the higher difficulties are designed to work in tandem with some of the quality of life unlockables you push out along the way - like the infinite rocket launcher and the defense/healing/attack power coins you get. I'm still happy to keep up the tradition of making each 50th increment of platinums an RE game though, and i'm really looking forward to this hitting the 150th possibly this week. Ghost of Tsushima Progress is coming along nicely, i made some content progress but it didn't really reflect in the trophies this week. I started to open up the second part of the game map a little more, completing some Mythic Tales, side missions and question marks. I love this game. Mafia 3 Same deal as Ghost really, i started to claim some more territory for my associates, but it hasn't paid off on the trophy front yet. I'm still really enjoying the game, even though it gets a little repetitive at times if you are going for the platinum. Spoiler Resident Evil 3 Remake 37% > 71% Lost Sphear Oninaki Last of Us Part 2 Ghost of Tsushima 25% > 27% Those Who Remain The Blair Witch Persona 5 Uncharted: Lost Legacy Mafia 3 18% > 21% (main game) Someday you'll return Life is Strange 2 Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk Nioh Nioh 2 Death Mark Secret of Mana Trials of Mana Snow Runner

Popular Post Draps-1337
My usual Monday update after a weekend of gaming. Killzone: Shadow Fall has become a big oof of a game. After finally finding a boosting partner after several people bailed or didn't show up. I managed to get the two trophies that are impossible to solo against bots. The grind has been really long, I understand why even the base game is an ultra rare trophy. I still need to do another whole playthrough in Elite mode, where you have 3 lives, which is going to be rough... Hoping to clear the rest of the game by the end of the week. but I might give up... Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Update: Tales of Xillia 2 (PS3) - 100% God of War 3 (PS3) - 0% Bioshock Infinite (PS3) - 0% Zone of the Enders HD Edition (PS3) - 0%: Cat Quest (PS4) - 0% Rise of the Tomb Raider (PS4) - 60% => 90% F1 2020 (PS4) - 38% => 57% I had a somewhat productive week. I got the plat in Tomb Raider and finished the DLCs (except co-op). I got the hang of Score Attack and it became quite easy by the end. The DLCs are quite fun too, I really like the ones with the infected and endurance is really cool too (although surviving for 10 days was a bit boring). There was a really cool easter egg in the Croft Manor DLCs, the butler's letter mentioning a mischievous young Lara. Now I'm going to step away from this game till I'm on vacation (after next week) and have some free time to be able to wrap up the co-op with my brother (I really hope he comes thru for me). After TR I switched to F1 2020, playing the new My Team mode. It's basically career mode with some team management which definitely makes it more fun. I should be able to finish up my first season next week. I will have to "put the brakes on" this game too as I have to squeeze in one more plat before this one. That means I'll "shift" my focus to God of War 3 starting next week.

It honestly is a 10/10 game, I took my time and played most of the game over 2 weeks. Progressed Resident Evil 4, controls more sluggish than I remember but warming up to it now. Dabbled in Planetfall, I feel completing all of the base game trophies is very achievable and ofc will go for DLC as well. I'm not gonna write again the same thing because I already wrote what I thought in my previous update, but I was hoping that the game would be better on impossible difficulty, you know, like a true survival "horror". And I was wrong. Again. By the end of the game, I had like 100k+ credits and full stacks of ammo for every single weapon. Line Gun + Stasis is the best goddamn combo in the entire game lol. And one more thing, this time I actually got scared, albeit once. I forgot that one enemy spawns near the elevator and here I was, waiting for it to come down, and suddenly, I see a pair of necro's hands slowly coming towards Isaac's head from behind. That was the only time I really got scared and it was because of my fault. But oh well, I had fun during the game so I don't regret anything.
Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Mid-week update time with ? Platinum 150 - Resident Evil 3 ?. My goal of making every 50th Platinum an RE game is progressing nicely. I'm now aiming for Resident Evil 8 to me by 200th plat. Time to work on my next 50 to get there before it's released in 2021. Resident Evil 3 Overall, I really enjoyed this, but there was something missing that I had trouble putting my finger on. It was hard not to compare it to the RE2 Remake on multiple occasions as I played through and it lacked a bit of the depth and memorable stuff that RE2 Remake had for me. I cheesed the harder difficulties with the infinite rocket launcher and I was okay with that. And I think that I was okay with it because I just wasn't as in deep with it as I was with RE2. With RE2 I was hooked and actively wanted to S+ Rank everything, learning the game and mastering it, whereas with RE3 I was very much of a mindset like 'I'm really enjoying this, but it's more of a throwaway experience for me'. From a character point of view - they were all compelling, but Jill and Carlos lacked the chemistry and character development that Leon and Claire had in RE2 Remake. Jill & Carlos both felt like 80's action heroes and they used a bunch of one-liners and quips to highlight it. I wanted to give a special shoutout to Carlos, who was my favourite character in the game - I found out never actually appeared in any RE games after this, such a shame. He had some really interesting character elements hidden behind all his bravado that could be really interesting if he was given more time and savvy writing. Ghost of Tsushima As always, I'm continuing to have a blast with this - currently working my way through Act 2 and knocking out side-missions and map locations as I go. It dawned on me that so far at least, there has been a vast amount of tragedy in the side missions. So many times i've gone to save a villager or look for a villager and they've already been killed, so i have to go back and tell the mission giver their relative is gone. It has reached a point now where there are some more major characters i'm starting to worry for in terms of their stories and endings. It's still a phenomenal game though and I can't wait to carry on with it. Mafia 3 Making good headway into this - some of the trophies are utterly bugged though - which after playing Mafia 2 and having the same experience, it seems like it's just to be expected. There is a trophy to perform 100 stealth takedowns and 300 overall takedowns of any type. Both of which had broken counters and neither of which have been fixed yet by the devs - likely because they are focusing on the Mafia 1 remake coming soon. The only way i could fix it was to grind out all those takedowns in one sitting without closing the game down. I put a Netflix show on and just went for it. Next up is Blair Witch - starting that on Friday night so i'm looking forward to getting spooked before the weekend starts. Look after yourselves and catch you all later Spoiler Resident Evil 3 Remake Lost Sphear Oninaki Last of Us Part 2 Ghost of Tsushima 27% > 32% Those Who Remain The Blair Witch Persona 5 Uncharted: Lost Legacy Mafia 3 21% > 45% (main game) Someday you'll return Life is Strange 2 Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk Nioh Nioh 2 Death Mark Secret of Mana Trials of Mana Snow Runner Edited August 12, 2020 by Crispy_Oglop

Wreckfest: 100% (21/21) Swaps Used: 1/2 Extra Games: 0/5 Total Trophy Haul: 580/959 Right, may not make it after all. Let's start with the completed games. First of all, LEGO Ninjago. Like Crew 2, I started to love it halfway through. Although unlike that game, I kept liking it. So what can I tell you about this? Well, it's a standard LEGO game, with the Easy platinum that implies. At first it was a bit weird because I was used to the wonders of ranged attacking (Harry Potter), but once the Ninjago powers kicked in, everything became easier. I have no intention of watching the movie (As I said, the humor is pretty bad), but the game was fun, at least. After that, Gravel. All I had to do were 10 online races followed by an offline grind. While going through all the other trophies put me at level 57 (and I needed level 99), the grind only took like 4 hours. A pretty fun game, all things considered. And also the third milestone game I had on this list. Finally, Sly 2. As with the first one, I had a blast playing this. I'm now busy with the third, which is also the hardest, apparently. Nice of them to give us hitpoints this time around, and the game did really feel like an upgrade over the first one. The other games I earned trophies on are Goat Sim (2 GoatZ trophies, and I still hate it), 2064 (finished chapter three, as well as beating one of the only skill related trophies), Sly 3 (which in a lot of ways is a Sly 2 reskin, but with added characters. Not that that's a bad thing) and Spyro 1 (Do I really need to play all of them? My first experience wasn't good.) Considering the amount of games I still have to do, I probably won't make it. Oh well, we'll see where we finish. Happy hunting everyone! Edited August 13, 2020 by Berendsapje

The Outerworlds slowed me down a bit since I can’t help but take my time with games like that, thankfully the map sizes were more than manageable for my need to explore and still be on time looking forward to seeing how much expansion the dlc will give the Halcyon Colony. Im also picking up speed and enjoying my play through with the Sherlock series. I miss the more laid back point and click type games it’s nostalgic to play like that again. Testament was a really good mystery story all together but I feel like the gameplay was polished up and expanded on in Crimes and Punishment, I also really liked the fact that the focus was on different cases and not just one narrative I felt it helped keep the mysteries fresh. And so far it’s looking good if things keep going smoothly I should I’ll be able to complete my list before the end.?

Popular Post Xenoblast91
UPDATE 5.0.: Half of the month again, and we just have 16 days to finish, LOL. This time around, I was switching between other games, which reflected a lot in my progress and I could have played more and go through but circumstances didn’t allow me to do so. However, I’m planning to finish with a flourish this time again. Also, this lapse proved to be personally challenging because I had to do other stuff irl so I just barely could progress at my normal pace. However, I feel grateful to have the opportunity to play more of my backlog and finishing other games, one of which is Cuphead. That one stayed in the backlog for almost 3 years but managed to put the effort and psych to complete it. Planning to replay it on PS4 for sure, but really need to practice. I don’t know why it was so challenging to me while many claim to be overrated in terms in difficulty. Matters of live and all complex stuff, probably. Another World – 0%➡100% The Bridge – 0%➡100% Final Fantasy XV – 91%➡100% Call of Duty WWII – 61%➡100% Journey – 0%➡100% Ōkami HD – 21%➡100% Swaps used 1/2: Wolfenstein Youngblood – 15%➡100% The Last of Us Remastered – 0% LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 – 0% Detroit: Become Human – 0% Attack of the Toy Tanks – 0% Since my last update, Ōkami HD has been the only game finished. I seriously took my time with this. Wonderful, beautiful and a compelling story to some extent. Undoubtedly, one of the best games ever and a true gem. I enjoyed it a lot, exploring, fighting and reading the dialogs for hints in the dungeons and plot. A satisfying experience, to be honest. And a wanted one since long ago. Served me to cold down form a huge rush by the last weeks so this was perfect for such purpose. The next one is going to be TLOU 1. I’ve heard a lot about this one, and I’m kind of nervous about it because don’t know how much will take me and the difficult terms. The guide states around a 4/10, but as everything depends on skill and perseverance. I want to finish it before 31st August, so I’m going to put my effort immensely in this to do it. The NG+ feature seems time consuming, but hopefully I can manage to reduce it and optimize it really good. Takes time to do that, so that’s why I find pretty ironic to be prepared for a game beforehand. The multiplayer seems pretty much straightforward but need to test it before I can say anything. By no means will I be finishing it up which can be seen as another defeat in this kind of challenge. But anyways, serves a lot to improve my backlog and makes me consider my time and abilities in every game. I said last time I probably won’t be at the next challenge, but I’m slowly changing my mind. May be today I’ll list my potential candidates for the challenge, but it’s still in the works. In the end, finishing games is what matters, isn’t it? See you guys later, and still reading your struggles and successes which are really interesting and inspiring for all! Happy hunting to everyone! ? Popular Post EPICRAGE
LAST Update: I'm throwing in the towel for this challenge. The Last of Us Part 2 took up most of my July (no regrets) and now I've been addicted to Fall Guys. Even though I wrapped up just about all the trophies, the Infallible trophy is calling out to me and it's taking up all of my time, even utilizing the current exploit. I'm still procrastinating on starting Daymare 1998 because I'll have to follow along with a collectible guide but that's the game I plan to play next if I ever achieve (or give up on) that Infallible trophy. I'll roll over the remaining games on my list into the next challenge which will make it a FULL YEAR of horror-themed games. Maybe that's why I've been so taken with Fall Guys; it's lighthearted and no need to have my iPad open with a guide while I play. Good luck to everyone else on finishing their backlog!
