Popular Post MidnightDragon
Planning on starting this weekend. An update is planned for Maneater in the next few days and I want to give it a bit more time before I start. Also anxiously waiting for the Ghost of Tsushima list. Popular Post Bubblegum_Crash
A bit late but here's my list for the Summer 2020 Challenge. Throwing in a handful of Vita games this time. 1. Adventures of Mana 2. Severed 3. Surge Deluxe (This one hasn't been touched in six years!) 4. VA-11 HALL-A 5. Gris 6. Shantae: Risky's Revenge 7. Fear Effect Sedna (I remember playing the first game on the PS1. I'm surprised to see a follow-up nearly 20 years later.) 8. Crossing Souls 9. Dragon's Crown Pro (I had this for the Spring Backlog Challenge but made no progress at all. It's been on my list for seven years! Making another attempt.) 10. Bendy & the Ink Machine (Nephew recommended this one. Don't know anything about it.) 11. Rise of the Kasai (A sequel to Mark of the Kri from the PlayStation 2 days.) 12. Rime 13. Tiny Metal 14. White Night 15. Old Man's Journey That's all of em. Looking forward to reading all of the updates!

Popular Post Flex_Da_Brent
Well, seems like I decided to join the challenge anyway despite me having said earlier that I would only participate around the start of July. People who start to know me by now will probably not be very surprised by this, I'm not exactly a man of my word, at least when it comes to games . I still won't be able to make much progress during this first month at all but I figured there's no harm in spending the few hours of playtime I do have on the challenge already so there is at least somewhat of a justified purpose for not studying. Anyway, here's my list: ? A Hat in Time: 11% ? Lego Harry Potter collection: Years 1-4: 15% ? Nioh: 22% ? Oxenfree: 12% ? Horizon Zero Dawn: 28% Mainly going to focus on A Hat in Time at the moment since its small and quick mission structure is perfect to not overshoot my gaming time. Really enjoying it so far! The visuals, the characters and the controls are all pretty solid and I really like the idea of expanding your moveset by collecting yarn and stitching new hats. It makes exploring actually worth it which in turn makes it more enjoyable as well. Performance, however, isn't the best so far. I'm usually not the person to really care about or even notice differences in fps but on several occasions it's noticeably been dropping below 30 which is starting to get slightly annoying as it can really mess up the platforming. Not sure whether this is a general issue with the game or if it's just my ps4. Let's hope it just doesn't get any worse in later levels as it's not really that big of a deal for the moment. Looking forward to the other games as well, some of which I really should have finished a while ago already, let's make work of it. Popular Post Copanele
Saturday update, together with the first switcharoo : 1. Trine Enchanted Edition [NEW]- 12% 2. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm - 3% 3. Berserk Band of the Hawk - 16% -> 60% 4. Middle-earth : Shadow of Mordor - 8% 5. Shadow of the Colossus - 2% REMOVED GAME : Crash Bandicoot Switches : 1/2 New Game : Trine Enchanted Edition I added this game on my initial list, then removed it, THEN added it again (really love to change my mind). An awesome platformer/puzzle game that has a certain charm that I enjoy. Will knock this one in the list. Deleted Game : Crash Bandicoot How to put it mildly... TO HELL WITH THIS GAME. I am NOT enjoying myself trying to complete this stupid ass game, so it will most likely die somewhere in the backlog. If I don't enjoy myself then the whole gaming stuff is utterly pointless, and this stupid game is similar to scratching a chalkboard with your nails. Senseless pain and misery. Imma skip it. Progress : Berserk Band of the Hawk I actually enjoy this one. Pulverized the story mode with Guts, currently doing Endless Eclipse with all the characters. It's a chill decent Musou that has satisfying combat (unlike some edgy anime pirate game that gave me nightmares), I expect to finish this one next week. There were some tricky segments but nothing too serious. Welp that's it for now. I have another game switch in my head but I will see how good I shall deal with Shadow of the Colossus first. I remember that game was also giving me grief due to ancient controls.
Popular Post Berendsapje
Right, second update for me, and a less happy one. 2064: Read only Memories: 0% (0/64) Beyond: Two Souls: 0% (0/46) Detroit: Become Human: 0% -> 13% (9/49) Island Saver: 100% (13/13) Lego Ninjago Movie: The video Game: 0% (0/51) Monster Energy Supercross: The official Videogame: 0% (0/51) Need For Speed Rivals (PS4): 0% -> 100% (26/26) RIDE: 0%) (0/51) Rogue Aces: 0% (0/34) The Crew 2: 0% (0/35) The Witness: 0% -> 57% (8/14) Wreckfest: 0% (0/21) Swaps Used: 0/2 Extra Games: 0/5 Total Trophy Haul: 56/455 I started with Detroit, considering its size compared to the others. And while it looks pretty, it's not a game for me. Because it's easy, I can't just say "Screw it" and use a swap as well. Maybe I haven't gotten far enough yet. To cool down a bit, I started Need for Speed Rivals, and quickly got sucked in it, and only it. It's a good car chase game, but wouldn't call it a racing game. The stack is complete, but it left a bitter taste in my mouth. Thankfully I already got it on PS3, so I knew what to do, and that's why it's already done. I also started the Witness, and I've got a problem. I have no idea what on earth I'm doing. Even with a guide, I can't figure out how to do the puzzles. So it's highly likely this one is going to be swapped out. I have a few games I can play, but I don't want to swap it out this early on. HOWEVER, my progress is stumped. We have two TV's (one for TV, and one for gaming) and the TV one is broken. So because House Rules is more important than Gaming, I'm left without anything to play on. No idea when the TV will get fixed, but it shouldn't be that long. But for now, deadlock. If only I had added a game for the VITA or the PS3, as those are at another location WITH TV Happy hunting everyone! Also, finally got around to playing DBZ Kakarot and finished that As a DBZ fan, really enjoyed the game overall. There were a few issues now and again but nothing big enough for me to lose enjoyment. Definitely a big lover of the 'Community Boards' the game had. It was great fun to actually do side-quests for decent rewards and to collect the emblems to match up with different people. Not sure what im moving onto, probably do another episode of Enemy Within and then get into Fallout4 or Spyro 2. Hope everyones weeks went well.

I’m in camp right now so the pace will slow down till the next weekend comes. I’ve got to say though, Sound Shapes Death Mode, God of War Challenge of the Gods and Colour Guardians had some parts that were pretty annoying and challenging, but doable. Resistance was a pretty easy platinum, except for the part where Online Pass was needed aandd that’s a 13.50 platinum. Guacamelee overall was fun, tough and I feel it’s a bit cheap whenever the enemy manages to inflict damage despite dodging. Platforming on Tule Trees and Sierra for orbs gave me a headache Infierno levels took some practice, especially the hit challenges and challenge 15, but overall, a fun and unique experience. I’ll start on Odin Sphere some time this week, been waiting to play it ever since I purchased it and continue on Muramasa Rebirth as well! Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
It's been a while and I've actually been waiting to do that the whole week: JAY-NANIGANS! Welcome to Sunday Update Episode #1 - I'm your host Jay and this is the weekly recap! Dark Souls 25% -> 74% As said in my sign-up this game is my priority and I'm treating it exactly like that. I've finished NG up to Gwyn, currently grinding out the weapons and kindling all the bonfires on the NG+ route. I've found and finished all covenants (exepct for the sunbros) for the spells and weapons too, so another thing less to grind. Funny thing while grinding for a titanite slab (I've fucked up the Siegmeyer quest and was missing one): I've decided while Dark Wraith grinding that another 4 levels in faith (skilled to 14 for astoras sword for the catacombs) would be smart to get homeward. So I did run after run, and in theory it worked out perfectly, with the last homeward bone I had enough souls to get me to 18 faith and use homeward. And then it happend ... the very final mob on run 21 dropped it and I don't need to go down there anymore. But you can always use a port back I guess. EDIT: I've decided to get all the upgrade trophies too after I've already posted my update yesterday. "Abusing" my ability to do backup saves so I don't waste my souls and titanite for weapons I won't use after upgrading. I'm going to need every single titanite for the boss weapons. And that's all I've done this week, I should be able to pop the plat next week. That's all from me, enjoy your challenges everyone I've been your host Jay, and this was the first episode of sunday update for this challenge. See you next week Edited June 9, 2020 by JayDeLosDioses

The Council (PS4) - 0% 13. The Walking Dead S2 (PS4) - 0% We're a week in, I should get my 1st update down. Started off a big sluggish. I've been all over the games in lockdown but when June 1st came, I couldn't be arsed. Didn't last long though. I knew very little about The Town of Light apart from it was a walking sim set in an asylum. That'd usually be green light go for me but I was a bit apprehensive about starting it because of trivial reasons like; it always seems to be in a sale and the picture they use for it looks shit. Don't worry about that, it's a cracking game. The substantial warning at the start sets the sinister tone, especially because you learn that it's based on real life events. You walk round a run down 1930s psychiatric hospital in Italy, looking to discover your past essentially. It involves exploring, and going where your narrative (voice in your head) tells you to. There's some take this there bits, along with some fairly clever puzzle moments. Through it all though, there are some really disturbing flash back moments with electric shock treatment, physical and mental abuse, and worse, which are supposed to shock as well as educate us that this actually happened. I did enjoy the game, quite a lot, but not being reminded that that stuff actually happened. The Town of Light is dark, man. I finished the story in Danganronpa 2 and it was even crazier than I expected. Great stuff. For some reason I'm loving the tamagochi pet system a bit too much. Give it a present for hope, don't clean up it's shit for despair. Depending on how much hope/despair it's got when it evolves, you'll get a different pet. There's a few to get, nice. Minor progress on Lego Avengers. I've got 1 more level to go before the huge clean up. Spent most of the time switching to a character that doesn't pirouette or mince about when they're supposed to be breaking stuff. Other news - I completed Secret of Monkey Island to 100% in prep for Monkey Island 2, and I finished off Late Shift which is a gangsterish FMV set in London. One of the week's highlights was sitting in the garden watching/listening @Crispy_Oglop play some cool games. Really appreciated the company actually! Fun fact, we both have deaf pets. I might start The Council this week, other than that, continue as is. Have fun cracking on everyone! Loving the updates. Fingers crossed this will be my only illness of the summer. I'm feeling better but still feel sick and get a bad headache if I play for to long. Illness is also the reason I only got 1 trophy on Lego worlds, tried to play and had to stop fairly quickly. I dipped into some of the smaller puzzle games when I felt up to it and I have mainly played Skyrim this week but my old save file wouldn't open up for some reason no matter what I tried so I had to delete everything and start a new game. So I mainly have done prep work for Skyrim, hopefully will get trophies for it next week though. Hopefully next week will go much smoother. Well done to everyone who made progress this week, I really enjoyed reading your updates. Edited June 8, 2020 by clairelifelistjo

Popular Post DizzyDavidson
BIG update: Tales of Xillia 2 (PS3) - 0% => 1% God of War 3 (PS3) - 0% Bioshock Infinite (PS3) - 0% Zone of the Enders HD Edition (PS3) - 0%: Cat Quest (PS4) - 0% Lol, I got 1 measly trophy the entire week (story related). I knew ToX2 will be slow with trophies so no worries. I try to look at the titles (earned for tasks performed X number of times mostly in battles) from time to time and see if I can do any of them without too much hassle but most of them I'll leave for post game. Some come naturally but others have a vague description. ToX2 spoilers: The game is set 1 year after Xillia 1 ended. The old gang is back together except one (Milla) who is an alternate dimension version. A couple of extra party members added too and a new protagonist who is mostly silent (not a fan of that). The game is reusing the locations from the first game with not a lot of new ones. Some cool new features and changes too, like the Kitty Dispatch (Find cats [100 total] and send them out to look for stuff). I think the battle system is a tiny bit more complicated but mostly the same. I got the hang of it, but still trying to master. Unfortunately I have to put in some extra time at work for the upcoming weeks which means there isn't going to be a lot of progress. Maybe I can get a couple more trophies next week, I'm getting "close(r)" to some of them. Keep the updates coming everyone. PS: I'm sad to see people giving up on the Crash games, now and in the past too. Just a friendly jab. Popular Post SyIaris
4 Assassin's Creed II 0%4 Far Cry Primal 0% ➟ 21% 4 SOMA 0% 4 Tales of Vesperia 0% 3 Wonderbook: Book of Spells 0% 4 Valiant Hearts: The Great War 0% Slooow start, considering I kicked it off with a relatively short game. Doesn't seem to want to paste my table, either. Has some points that are a bit frustrating, generally objectives with no waypoint whatsoever, but I'm having quite a bit of fun with it, especially after getting some animal companions. Jaguar sneaking through and wiping out a base? Awesome. Bear body slamming an enemy to death? Even better. Handy that they make lower tier predators turn and run, too. Don't think I've made a lot of story progress and definitely need to prioritize some weapon upgrades, but I'm enjoying it so far.
Popular Post Hiyo_Rain
Life is Strange PS4 - 18% Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly - 9% Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls - 8% Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars - 0% Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy - 0% Strawberry Vinegar - 0% Far Cry 5 - 18% -> 47% Far Cry New Dawn - 0% Update 2! I ended up not working on Life is Strange this week because I've been pretty drained from starting a new job that kinda overdoes it with the online training and training checklists and shadowing checklists and gahhhhh. Being a cashier isn't hard so I don't get why there's so much brain melting online training I have to go through. Anyway, because of that, I didn't have the mental capacity to deal with that kind of story after work. I will mostly likely only work on it on my days off because of that, but still will be doing a chapter a day on the days I do work on it! Hopefully I'll have Far Cry 5 done soon, I've got most of the trophies in base game and will be taking a break from the story to work on most DLCs soon. I get paid on Tuesday, so I'm planning to buy and hopefully get plat on Strawberry Vinegar that same day. It's a Ratalaika game so I expect to finish the trophies quickly, but I'll probably continue to play even after that because I like VNs, assuming it won't make me play the whole game like several Ratalaika games don't. I will also be restarting Ultra Despair Girls tomorrow, as I'm babysitting and she's old enough to not need constant supervision as long as someone's in the house with her. It'll be a good time to work on a vita game!

Put an hour in on Wildlands to try and get a feel for it, enjoying it so far. Infiltrating bases in the night and killing guys asleep is oddly fun because it gives a realism to it. In addition me and the other half have made a start on Borderlands 2 on split screen which is great fun as she has never played a shooter in her life so seeing her get an upgraded gun and go blazing in with a few obscenities thrown is hilarious. Hope everyone is doing good. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands 1% - 5% Life is Strange 2 0% Far Cry New Dawn 0% Resident Evil 7 0% Rise of the Tomb Raider 16% Borderlands 2 0% - 6% @MidnightDragon quick one for when you are back dude, I joined before the 6th but I think it got missed. Cheers and thanks for keeping these going.
Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 2 Snowrunner - 21% Sakura Wars - 4% Horizon Zero Dawn(100% everything) - 11% Dreams - 88% Civilization VI - 29% I made the most progress in Dreams. I just need the trophies for getting to level 20 then 30 for the plat. Should have that done in another week. Got a few more of the easier trophies in Civ 6 while still learning the basics. I spent the most time knocking out contracts and tasks in Snowrunner, but only added one more trophy. I'm getting close to unlocking a couple more, but most of them are still a ways off. The first expansion is supposed to come out on the 9th so there's a chance my completion % goes down this week.
Popular Post da_eMTy
Update #1: My first update for the summer I started with Gravel, which was a somehow enjoyable racing-simulation game with awful controls. But nothing to difficult or grindy that I dont got frustrated. After that I played Abzû and really felt in love with this gem. It was like a pause from reality and one to calm down and enjoy life. The next game is Farming Simulator, which is also really relaxing but a bit grindy, so this will take another week before I can complete it. Color Code: Red = Game not started. Orange = Game is in progress. Green = Game completed to 100% + DLC.
