Popular Post Draps-1337
As for my first update. It's been a week and I haven't had much time to play. Went to visit rural family over the weekend, so I couldn't hammer out a game over the weekend. And work last week was hectic trying to reach a rough deadline. so I didn't have much time when I finished work. Plague Tale is really cool so far, I've missed a few collectibles so I'm going to need to chapter select to clean up later... I'm surprised I haven't seen more people talking about this game. it's very impressive and was made by a pretty small team. Popular Post ResoluteRock
Second update 1. Ratchet & Clank (PS4) - 0% 2. Layers of Fear - 0% 3. Nier Automata - 0%4. The Division 2 - 20% --> 62% 5. GRIS - 0% 6. Fractured Minds - 0% --> 100% I only ended up playing The Division 2 on my list for the past week. I finished all of the PvP related trophies and I'm closing in on the platinum. I didn't think I'd make so much progress in such a short amount of time, but I guess the lockdown situation is the cause of that. I'm still unsure of whether or not I'll be able to complete the Dark Hours raid since I still keep getting disconnected the moment I load into a raid. Hopefully, Ubisoft fixes this bug before the challenge/summer ends because I'd like to go back to college with no more online trophies left on my profile. If not, I'll just have to consider it complete with 59/60 trophies for the sake of this challenge since there's not much I can do about their server issues with regards to raid matchmaking. After I complete The Division 2, no more online trophies I'll likely head into Layers of Fear after completing The Division 2. Some of you guys have made amazing progress so far Keep it up everybody! EDIT: I'm running out of rep really fast for this thread so if I don't get around to upvoting any updates, I just ran out but I still support your progress Edited June 9, 2020 by ResoluteRock
Popular Post AscendancyGaming
Time for my first update. Haven't actually finished anything yet, although I made some progress in a few games. I finished the story in God of War, and I can say it's just not for me. The high point was getting to see Jörmungandr a handful of times, and the actual story was decent enough, however I'm just not a fan of the "puzzles", as short and simple as most of them are. I'll still finish it up during this event hopefully, but I'm not exactly thrilled about it. Samurai Warriors on the other hand is pretty good, I haven't played a musou game in forever, and forgot how much I enjoyed them. It's slow but enjoyable progress on that front. The last game that I made a good bit of progress in was Cyberdimension. I finished the story and am just cleaning up the five or so remaining trophies. I finally found a good load-out for the boss fights, so they're not taking me a slow twenty minutes anymore. I've also add one game, listed below. Spoiler God of War - 2% → 30% Samurai Warriors 4-II - 18% → 31% Secret of Mana - 1% Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online - 28% → 75% Pixel Piracy - 0% LEGO Jurassic World - 16% LittleBigPlanet 3 - 4% New Addition: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - 0% Edited June 9, 2020 by AscendancyGaming
Popular Post MICSAM89
Update 1: So update number 1 for me this time around and I'm making better progress than last time. I've just finished the Spider-Man base game so im probably a little late for the hypetrain, but damb that was a fun game. Also if you give it a playthrough don't wear the cell shaded suit it really blows the immersion throughout the cutscenes. I'm thinking I will play farming sim next to mix in a little fun grind in with the Spider-Man new game+ on ultimate difficulty. Popular Post dark_moon689
Update 1: 1. (PS4) The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - 0% / 2. (PS4) Hitman 2 - 25% / 3. (PS4) Darksiders II - 1% / 4. (PS3) Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch - 13% / June 8th 5. (PS3) Yakuza 5 - 8% / 6. (PS4) Idle champions of the forgotten realms 30% / 7. (PS4) Persona 5 0% / First game done, Ni No Kuni had been on my backlog for years. The story and art style I enjoyed, the grinding for several trophies was so mindless and boring, I sinked hours upon hours in this game, I was at 6-8h when I started and end up with 80 something...I mostly catch up on shows while doing so because the mechanics themselves don't hold up after the first 12-20 hours specially after getting done with the pretty cutscenes is hard to muster the will to get back in. I don't think I will ever be playing the second game unless is free or something and even then I might not play it anyway. Now I might start the deep rabbit hole that is Yakuza 5, which I abandoned last year for other more straightforward games. And if my internet decides to cooperate I'll try to finally get the mp trophies for Driver SF which is not in this list but has been hunting me forever and I want to be done with it. Good luck on Yakuza 5, I just finished that game just before this challenge started. And I didn't even attempt the plat yet. (I wanted to get through the series first before going back for the plats) Looking at the trophy list freaks me out. the game took me around 55 hours to complete the story, getting the plat looks like at least that again maybe more. Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Hope everyone is keeping safe and well. At this point, the way things are going - if aliens decided to invade the planet or zombies appeared too, i'd be completely unsurprised. Quick update from me with some progress in Lost Sphear which I managed to bump up to 29% completion. I think I have about a quarter of the main story to go and i've cleaned up most of the miscellaneous trophies. All that will remain are the character side-story trophies which are apparently pretty quick to knock out. There is one trophy though, to have earned 1,000,000 G and i'm not sure how much of a task that is going to be. The game so far is really fun, but I was saying the other day, it is strangely draining. I think it's generally just a....sleepy (?) experience, from the music to the pacing. The boss fights though, oh ho ho ho, the boss fights come with really jarring difficulty spikes. I must have spent an hour or two on one particular monster frog boss recently. I know it's intentional, but it's a huge shock in contrast with the flow of the rest of the game. In other news - I decided to ditch the Mafia 2 Remaster DLC entirely as it's quite buggy. I'll likely only return to pop the platinum once they fix that one main game trophy which is locking everyone out from getting it. Had no idea about you having a deaf pet too! You'll have to tell me about them at some point I can recommend The Council, I really loved that game even though it took me a while to adjust to the art style.

Popular Post EPICRAGE
I wanted to update as soon as I finished by first game so here I am! I had fun with Resident Evil 2 remake last month so I interrupted my backlog right at the beginning of the challenge to play Resident Evil 3. It was a lot shorter to finish than RE2 so I was done after a couple days. First game I finished for the Summer Backlog Challenge was Stranger Things 3: The Game. I'm a huge fan of the show so the game was quite charming in recreating the third season. I need to resist a rewatch of the show so I can focus on my backlog! I've shuffled my list slightly and added the game Those Who Remain. I'm hoping to finish the first six games before The Last of Us Part 2 but we'll see what happens... Stranger Things 3: The Game - (June 9th) Crossing Souls - (19%) Thimbleweed Park Serial Cleaner BDSM: Big Drunk Satanic Massacre Those Who Remain - (added 6/10) Daymare 1998 Blair Witch Through the Woods Night in the Woods NightCry Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition

Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 3 Snowrunner - 21% 27% Sakura Wars - 4% Horizon Zero Dawn(100% everything) - 11% The Last of Us Part 2 0% Dreams - 88% Civilization VI - 29% 34% Just a little progress so far this week. Turns out the Snowrunner update was just a patch and not the first expansion so that was nice (for my challenge status anyway). I'm at level 17 in Dreams and trying to earn a level or two per day to hit 30 by the 19th. I also got a couple more easy trophies in Civ 6 and I've been taking notes for a possible trophy guide in the future. There's a lot of good Civ 6 content out there, but not much focused on getting the trophies as fast as possible. There's a Steam Achievement guide for the PC version I've been using as a reference, but I've already found quicker ways to get a few of the trophies. I'm hoping to get the platinum before the 19th as well, and then I'll start on the expansions while playing through The Last of Us 2. Speaking of which, I'm using my first swap to switch out HZD with Last of Us 2. I was going to hold off and get it later during a sale, but the hype got me. So now my goal is to get the plat / 100% for these 5 games before Ghost of Tsushima comes out next month. That way I can add that game to my list and focus on it for the last couple weeks. Happy hunting!

Popular Post SpacebarPlays
Week 2 update! Doing it a bit early because im taking a break from PS4 for today mostly so might as well do this now. 1. Batman: Enemy Within - 100% 2. The Council - 0% 3. The Order: 1886 - 0% 4. Fallout 4 - 0% 5. Spider-man - 97% 6. DBZ: Kakarot - 100% 7. Final Fantasy 8 - 0% 8. Spyro 1 - 100% 9. Spyro 2 - 7% 10. Spyro 3 - 0% So, got around to just blitzing through the rest of Enemy Within. Still think parts went far too slow at times. The story really picked up though and it felt much better than the first season, game barely broke as well, which is a bonus. Not entirely sure how i feel about the changing of the villains backstories but it was fun enough. Then moved onto my 2nd time platinumming Spider-Man. Absolutely didnt let me down on the 2nd run through, its one of the most complete games ever IMO, just does everything so well, trying to think of things i didnt like and i'd have to get extremely picky if there was anything. Finally got around to playing the DLC as well, enjoyed it for what it was. The storylines were fun, the addition of new characters was great, loved the interactions between Miles and Peter and cant wait for the Miles Morales game to arrive. Just gonna slowly run through NG+ on Ultimate for the 100% inbetween other stuff. Going to start 'The Council' this week whilst playing Spyro inbetween if i get bored. Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
JAY-NANIGANS! Welcome to an earlier episode 2 of Sunday Update - I'm your host Jay and this is this weeks recap! Dark Souls 74% -> 100% I've finished Dark Souls on Thursday by turning in the final boss souls for their weapons. It's been long overdue. I really really love this series and I should work on the plat in DS2. I've done the weapon trophy without someone dropping them for me too, and I enjoyed NG+ and half the NG++ runs (but I skipped Anor Londo, thanks stairs ) Lego Ninjago Movie The Game (or whatever it's called exactly) 0% -> 100% My faith in Lego games was restored thanks to this game for a while, and then stupid me thought I could take this motivation into Lego City Undercover and finally finish this one off... nope that game sucks - many many stupid quests, even more crashes. But at least Ninjago was a fun 14h plat for me. Dungeon Defenders II 0% - 100% Free to play game with no plat, but it's a nice little tower defense game with some RPG added on top. I've got some help leveling from Seppukun, who I helped with the Far Cry trophy in return, I think that's always nice, helping each other out with some then easier trophies. Seeing that I've completed 60% of the games I've entered this week I'm going to start adding, this weeks addition is: Far Cry New Dawn - 0% So that's all for this week. I've been your host Jay, thanks for "listening". See y'all next week to a brand new episode of sunday update Spoiler Health update: I'm getting there guys! I don't need meds anymore to not think suicidal. I've been off for a month now! Not even for sleeping! Feels amazing!
Popular Post StilRh
My first 2 weeks have very little to show for it. Age of Wonders Planetfall released DLC that initially lowered my completion percentage so I've got more trophies than my progress lets on. I dabbled in Darksiders 2, trying to decide to straight up finish the 1st playthrough on hardest difficulty or save that for NG+. 3 more night shifts until I get a week off work. I LOVED Maneater, it was a great switch up from the normal RPGs I play. They put quite a bit of humor in the story and I loved how it all came together in the end. The fact that you could customize your shark and choose to upgrade what you thought was important for your gameplay was amazing. It was really enjoyable and I thought the length was perfect so it didn't become too repetitive. Mekorama and Color Slayer were games that I got for cheap and have been siting in my backlog for a while. They are definitely games to play while watching a TV show or a movie because they don't require a lot of focus. I have made significant progress is LEGO Batman 3 and am planning on finishing it up this week. My plan from there is to start really focusing on Dreams and possibly start Harry Potter depending on my motivation. I love reading everyones progress, keep it up! ☺️

Popular Post Sword
Good day everyone. Here is my mid-month status report. It's not exactly pretty, but I'll explain below why that is: I have been hard at work, unfortunately nothing of the sort with this event. The culprit? Super Meat Boy (not on my list). Something clicked in me about 2 weeks ago after taking a 4 month break from this game and I was able to make 10x the progress in the game than I did since I started it and I've doubled my trophy count for it. Unfortunately, you can only play something so long before you burn out. I'm at that point. The game is fun, but two weeks of dieing over... and over... and over... I'm just burnt out with the repetitive pixel perfect lose, lose, lose, lose, lose, manage to somehow win a no-death run loop. These levels are starting to wear me out and the game is just not fun anymore for me. So I'm taking a break. However, I am extremely proud of the progress I've made. Sure, it's not a platinum... but this is the hardest game I've ever played and the fact I've made it as far as I have... I no longer really care if I ever get the plat, these are my most treasured trophies of my whole collection so far for years to come. So I return to this event. Originally I had Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3 on my list for the second time (first in the Spring Event). HOWEVER with Demon's Soul's being announced for the PS5 (thank the stars I didn't platinum any of these!) I have a brand new plan! I'm going to platinum the whole series back to back to back in REVERSE once Demon's Soul's is released, so that when someone looks at my profile in the future, the entire series will scroll from top-bottom in order: Demon's Soul's, Dark Souls 1, Dark Souls 2, then Dark Souls 3. Of course... I won't be able to actually accomplish this until next year or 2022... so... 1) Using my first swap to swap out Dark Souls 2 for Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengance. 2) Using my second swap to swap out Dark Souls 3 for Color Slayer. Disgaea has been on my mind since I bought it 2 days ago. I just WANT to play it so badly. New series? Check. Strategy game? Check. Crazy anime culture? Check. Insane leveling and many complicated systems? Check. Fun to play after Super Meat Boy? CHECK CHECK CHECK CHECK.... CHECK! Going in completely blind because that's how I feel this should be played. New to the series so... let's just dive right into the complexity. Color Slayer is because this event is already far along and I need something extremely easy to play because I'm already far behind. As for my ACTUAL progress? A whopping 1 trophy earned in Lego Harry Potter. Super Meat Boy has stalled my progress to nothingness. Time to set it aside, have some fun and get these games rolling! Color Code: Red = Game not started. Green = Game is in progress. Blue = Game completed to 100% + DLC. ☐ Disgaea 5: Alliance Of Vengeance (PS4) 0% ☐ Color Slayer (PS4) 0% ☐ Lego Harry Potter - Complete Collection (PS4) 1% ☐ Cosmic Star Heroine (PS4) 0% ☐ Lego Star Wars: Force Awakens (PS4) 0% Swaps Used: 2/2 Making dinner and getting a drink. Then starting Disgaea 5, my first Disgaea game which looks to have EVERY element I enjoy from video gaming. Super excited to try this game for the first time! Hope everyone else is doing great with your backlog adventures, as it sure seems many are. Several people have multiple games completed. You guys are much faster than I'll ever be! Game on, my friends. Let's squash the backlog. Edited June 14, 2020 by Sword

I started off the week by playing Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. Visually, it’s beautiful, comparable to Muramasa Rebirth but in terms of difficulty, odin sphere is a step down and easy for beginners. However, the game got boring as I continued progressing (I even slept while playing as Oswald ) due to similar mechanics albeit subtle differences in controlling the characters combo styles. The factor that pushed me through was the story and it’s done wonderfully here. As you progress through the game you will uncover more about the world and it’s interesting to the point that you’ll want to know more about it. Overall, it’s a good game which I managed to put about 25 hours ~ into the game. I have nothing much to say for The Walking Dead Season 1 since it’s been reviewed to death other than it’s a must play for everyone. Ratchet & Clank: Full Front Assault is a fun game, although its campaign is rather short compared to the other games I’ve played. I had no choice though, I had to play an action game so I won’t get bored of my backlog Andd that’s a wrap for the week! I hope y’all have a good week ahead and happy hunting! Stay safe everyone Edited June 15, 2020 by Sylvie
