Pay Real Money to Cut Platinum Time

The strategy for Level 150 is to win a bunch of games then spend time losing another bunch so that you don’t go to division 5 or higher. This is because they take so little damage and deal such heavy damage making it almost impossible for you to win, and they push the submission gates so far and so quickly you cannot win any mini game.

To cope on the higher divisions you need a 4 or 5 star grappler like elite Cormier so you can win continuously without having to waste time quitting or letting yourself lose so many. To get Cormier you have to gamble so much to either get him or get specific fighters in casino packs that you can trade for him.

Why can’t I just buy Cormier with coins at auction?

Also What strategy did did you use to get to l150?

I love this game, so if I come across as condescending or attacking you, please know that this is not intended, I'm just trying to help.

It sounds to me that you don't like the game. If that is the case, please just play in Single Player. You get the same xp/trophies (except daily objectives), certainly the level 150 one.

I don't know why you think you would need a 4 or 5 star Cormier. I have a 4* Cormier and I do better with all my other fighters, including my 3* Joe Rogan. Also, I got my 4* Cormier fairly early (before I was even level 50) through a POTN pack.

As for the strategy, if you are just about getting to level 150 without caring about the game, load up Single Player, and just spam left stick towards your opponent and X. The fight will end most likely in the first round and you will either win by TKO or lose by TKO.

It’s very hard to like a game that puts corporate strategy and rigged AI above the authentic fighting game experience. I spent 150k coins on POTN packs (no real money spent, all legitimate play money)  and NOT ONCE did I ever get an elite fighter.

If casinos are your thing by all means...

I don’t play multiplayer because every time I fight someone online we mostly always go to a decision.

I need to cut the platinum time down.

Oh I am well aware that this game has major flaws and would need serious improvement in many aspects.

You don't have to spend a single real life dollar (after purchasing the game itself of course) and you don't have to rely on luck though. I admit that it takes time to learn the game to the point where you can beat up 5* fighters with your 3* fighter in a fair manner. I regretted buying it for quite a while because I couldn't get a hold of it and I absolutely hated it in the beginning.

They don't have special events now for a while, but maybe with real UFC coming back, they will implement them again. You can try to get a 4 or 5 star fighter that way, although it would probably be too time consuming.

Anyway, the leg kick spam method might be the fastest way for you.

Not sure how balanced the matchmaking is in this game, I started online multiplayer to get the daily achievement trophy and I mostly end up fighting against a bunch of mcgregors and other pro fighters with my 2* shit unknown fighter. A few jabs from the opponent and I'm KO. Blocking is useless. I mean is it supposed to be fun?

I'll go back to single player as soon as I'm lucky enough to get an easy day for the achievements and get the trophy.

Unfortunately, the game's multiplayer is infested with people who have no interest in playing the game, whose only joy in life seems to be to upset other players with their overpowered fighters, deliberately staying in lower divisions and using exploits on top of that. The only advice here is learn the game, learn how to defend their exploits and get familiar with the card system, so you can trade up and improve your stats. No shame in staying in Single Player though, this is probably more fun anyway in the beginning.

As for the daily objectives, hang in there. The easy day will come. There are often days with objectives that only require you to do things like throwing a certain amount of punches or completing (not winning) a certain amount of fights. As you progress, some of the tasks will become easier for you. Pulling off 9 takedowns might seem like a daunting task now, but with experience, you probably can farm them in one fight if you so desire.

I had an unbelievably hard time with the game when I started out playing. Now I can legitimately beat up cheaters with their 5* fighter with my 3* fighter (not every time of course, I still lose a good chunk of fights to people who come in with lots of 100 stats and exploits). But I love the game and I understand that not everyone wants to put in the time to learn it, it really has a harsh learning curve. But I am not a particularly good gamer. If I can do it, literally anyone can.

Have you tried using the glitch to win matches in 30seconds? its still repetative. i still havent even got to level 50 yet.

Yes I am using the glitch, I was just talking about online multiplayer to get the daily achievements done. I got the trophy so I am back on single player to grind. I'm almost at level 50 but it seems like I will take 6 months to get to 150 at this pace. Not in a rush though, I play 30 mins here and there.

Which exploits are you talking about? I'm just curious, if you could elaborate.
I got the daily achievements trophy today, it was very very satisfying as 4 achievement were pretty easy and based on punches, takedowns and kicks, but for the last one I had to win a match by submission with a middleweight fighter. It felt really good to pull a guillotine choke.

While every level up takes more time than the one before, this progress resets at every 50 levels. 51 to 100 will take you the same amount of xp as 1 to 50.

wow, I didn't know, this is great news actually!

Congrats on the submission win! I got it too first try today, but these can really be the most annoying, because people don't hesitate to quit when you are about to submit them or even directly after the fight ends, the game won't acknowledge it as a submission then. They don't even get xp for quitting, it makes no sense other than to protect their ego. I will only quit a submission, if I know it is a daily objective and I know the guy is exploiting the game.

I always wondered if everyone gets the same daily objectives or if they are random for every individual. Yours sound the same as mine though, so now I know.

I use "exploits" or "cheats" interchangeably and for a wide spectrum of things. There are the real cheats, like lagswitching - this is extremely rare nowadays and basically non-existent. It was a thing when I started out though. Then there are attack spams: People string together almost unblockable, unbelievably fast combos. Clinch spam is also basically a thing of the past, but lately, some people started doing it again. If you don't know how to defend clinches, you are done for. If you can defend them, these people are absolutely pathetic and you will win without trouble.

An exploit would for example be what you seem to have experienced: Someone just gets high stats and then attacks you, breaks your block and kills you with a few jabs, without gassing. It shouldn't be possible, but here we are. Instead of blocking, you should learn how to evade.

Then there are things, that I haven't figured out how they work, so I just call them cheats. For example, if you hit someone, you lose a bit of stamina. If you hit someone and he blocks, you lose a little bit more of stamina. If you hit someone and he evades, you lose even more stamina. Now, there are instances where you hit someone clean and lose the same amount of stamina as if he would have evaded. That is an absolute mystery to me. This doesn't happen randomly across fights. If it happens in a fight, it will happen consistently. So I think they are doing something. I could be completely wrong here of course.

Oh, and then there are people who have a block of 75 and a chin of 80, who are eating your shots because they can't play the game, yet you can't KO them no matter how often and hard you hit them. They will get rocked several times, but that's it. Absolutely fishy.

And of course, then there are the ground game people. They just take you down, go into crucifix, and KO you. This isn't necessarily an exploit, it's very weird to me though how often takedown and transition are undeniable (I'm not talking about the unblockable takedowns, we're talking a normal takedown as the first action in the game). There is something fishy about it. Especially if they run into your uppercut and aren't faced one bit by it.
