This event was first run by @Shana Alter in 2018 and had three lovely maidens competing, Shana Alter, @Mesopithecus, and @Edunstar84. With their blessing, I have decided to bring this event back for the 2020 version! Sign-ups are open for up to 10 different female gamers to join this friendly, yet competitive, trophy hunting event! Feel free to join by either messaging me directly or posting here on the topic. Event Details Event will run from June 1, 2020 until December 31, 2020 Participant sign ups end at 10 Participants or on May 31, 2020-- whichever comes first No cheating! All games are allowed, stacks included Auto-popped platinums are not allowed Games must be completed and reported in this topic (along with any % Prepped modifiers) in order to get points Scores will be kept HERE. These games must be decided by the time the event starts but can be changed any time before then. Games start with 100 base points Platinum rarity will be subtracted from the 100 points For games without platinums, the 100% Completed stat at the top right of the game page will be used; if the 100% game has DLC that skews this rarity, then the most rare trophy % will be used This value will be multiplied by a time-to-platinum multiplier based on the 25th Percentile completion time of the fastest achievers leaderboard (the number of people is based on the number on the final page of the leaderboard, not the number at the top of the game's page as that statistic includes those who were removed from leaderboards) <12 Hours: x0.25 12 Hours, 1 Second - 24 Hours: x0.50 1 Day, 1 Second - 3 Days: x1 3 Days, 1 Second - 1 Week: x1.5 1 Week, 1 Second - 2 Weeks: x2 2 Weeks, 1 Second - 1 Month: x2.5 >1 Month: x3 Games that had DLC added during the event will receive a multipler of 1 as the addition of DLC inflates the completion time and will make them inaccurate. If you completed your game BEFORE DLC came out, you can use the original multiplier. New games must have been out 2 months before a rarity percenage and time multiplier can be established. Games with female leads that aren't one of the triple point choices will get a multiplier of 1.5. If a game has multiple lead characters or a create-your-own character option, you will have to prove you played a female character with a screenshot. The main character also cannot be ambiguous. DLC packs will receive points as well, with the same formula being used, but will not have a time multiplier and will also be divided by 2 You will subtract from 100 the rarest trophy from the DLC pack If a game has been prepped prior to the event start date, you will also multiply your score by (1 - Decimal Value of % Complete) All scores will be rounded up Final Formula: (100 - Platinum Rarity) * Time Multiplier * Prepped Value * Female Multiplier DLC Final Formula: (100 - Most Rare Trophy) * Prepped Value * Female Multiplier / 2 Example: Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition has a 5.57 percent rarity platinum. It has 14,647 Completions, making the 3,662 time the 25th Percentile Completion --> This is 2 Weeks, 4 Hours --> Earns a 2.5 Multiplier. Assume the game was 10% Prepped. Game has a female lead character. (100 - 5.57) * 2.5 * (1 - 0.1) * 1.5 = 318.70125 --> rounded up --> 319 I will keep track of all the points so you don't have to! I am not sexist, I respect female leads. I enjoy Artifex Mundi's titles, and most of them have female protagonists. You just cannot have a competition like this without Lightning being involved at least once. Also I have to mention I love the additional effort you put in to make the participant cards. Not a requirement for others by any means, but those who want to do this can I've also updated the rules slightly. These are the changes: Clarified that the 3 triple-point games have to be chosen by the time the event starts. You can change your mind about your games until then, just let me know so I can update the participant cards. Added a new points multiplier. Any game that has a female lead that isn't one of your triple-point games will get a multiplier of 1.5! I've also added a list of games that have female leads. This list is limited to just games that I've actually played, so feel free to post other games and I'll update the list. New games will have to wait 2 months before assessing their rarity value and length multipliers. This is so there is enough data to make the points system more accurate. Haha, well, actually that stupid Tower crap is the reason I'm using it as a triple points game I've been putting off playing it for like two years because I don't want to do the tower, but I know if it's my triple points game I'll force myself to do it and finally get it over with It was one of my favourite games as a little girl. All the dressphere stuff was just amazing to me as a kid, and I used to imagine/draw other characters from other games with their own dressphere transformations. eigen-space Posted May 14, 2020 Author Share Posted May 14, 2020 (edited) I've created a spreadsheet for you all to calculate your game points if you wanted to get a feel for how many points certain games are worth. It is located here and also is noted in the Scoring section of the main post. You will want to enter values into all the cells that are yellow. Please note that points may be slightly different when you complete the game as rarity and speed rankings may change upon your completion as well as anyone else who completes before you do (especially if the game does not have a lot of owners/completers). It's called Emma: Lost in Memories. It's not the easiest game, but I suck at platforming, so some may find it easier than me. You'll have to wait a couple of months to find out the completion rate.
