In an effort to see what kind of numbers we should be shooting for, do you guys mind posting your scores for any stages you've S ranked on hard?

Shiva. Does that change the score for S rank? I seen somebody on XBOX say that S ranked stage 4 with 17054.

These might be the most accurate scores to S Rank, I only see people with higher scores then mine.

Im using Shiva and Blaze SoR1, but any character will do, honestly.

Here's my playthrough for Stage 4, 6, 7 and 9, done Solo, to get an idea. I think those are the hardest.

My S score ranks are mixed with singleplayer and coop plays (I believe the requirements are less on coop, but I am not 100% sure)

I read that the XBOX and PC are using an older combo system. Players say that the combo meter drains faster which makes it impossible to string along combos. This is why their requirement is lower.

It could be that it depends on difficulties, I know sometimes players fail to mention little key things like that.

 

Cant remember if this was on easy or hard, or if its same for all, but Stage 01 requirement is 21000

Im gonna give up on this Platinum, i cant do any S Rank in any level, even on the first level i spend a few hours and i only get Rank A. for me this is impossible.

the game is based on combos for the RANK S, during the phase trying to make an IRAN or PHENOMENAL combo, done that and dying as little as possible, trying to leave the chicken that stays in the boss for the end, I already died two lives in one phase and even so I got a RANK S, I managed to do all the levels with FLOYD, I think it’s easier with it because it’s possible to abuse the triangle’s ability to maintain the combo. I will put the video of the phase that gave me more work (Stage 4 ), in this channel all the videos.

It is not that difficult just two stages are boring, just decorate where the enemy's cads come from and try to keep the combo.

Don't give up. I was in the same boat but I kept going lol. I'll just say I grinded for more than  a few hours when I got my first S rank. I also thought it was impossible.

Got my first S Rank on firts level, did 27804 and used one star. The secret its really the combos.

Congrats man. When it comes to combo the damage matters(the color) not specifically how many hits you've strung together. 

 

I also pulled 3 more S Ranks.

 

Stage 6 - 32629 - Floyd

Sometimes the enemies hit me and break the combo other times they hit me and dont break my combo. I dont know how this works.

So I think the combo will break if you get hit while attacking. I'm not entirely too sure myself though.

Of course it's the combos. Each star gives you 500 points, while each full health bar is 2000. It's recommended to use a Star move rather lose some health. Plus, if you can make a section using a Star and not taking damage, if you grab a Chicken you get 1000 points, which corresponds to 2 star moves

You have to get some good combos (at the start of each stage) and then survive. This is enough to get an S Rank.

Yeah. Try to get at least a "sick" combo at the start and then do well from that point on. Also it may be just me but I just couldn't do well as the dashless characters. Those with dashes can continue combos onto the next fights by dashing to the right and hitting an enemy or barrel with an attack.
