100 Hectares faster?

Recommended Posts

Hello. I'm not a specialist, just recently started playing the game myself.

For me, with the goal of making it quicky I've adopted 2 strategies:

- Buying all the big fields (assuming money is not an issue...), just leaving the small ones (such as #14, #15, #16 and #17) to other farmers in order to concentrate in those small and near (to each other) fields all missions - yes, because the 100 missions trophy is also a biggie.

- The other strategy is to concentrate all my own cultivation, sowing, fertilizing and harvesting to just one or two big fields (eg.: #8), since hectares is the only thing that matters. And this way no need to keep jumping from one small field to another.

Note that the missions hectares do not count to the 100 hectares trophies, only our own hectares do count.

Hopefully this helps, regards.

Hola.

Hello, thank you, I bought the land 6,7,8, 11 and 12, others I left them for missions, what kind of crop do you recommend, barley wheat, rapeseed ...?  Which would you say is faster to do all the trophies of 100 hectares?

Hello, not much of a difference that I could notice (I normally use wheat or barley). I've put game velocity on 120x so all crops develop quite fast (that velocity it's a little anoying because of the night/day cicle, but not too much if you get used working at night - with all vehicle lights turned on). So, the time it takes is mostly related with the velocity of the machines. The one that is slower (at least for me) is the seeder machine - I did not find one faster.

What I did is, in field #8, put a "cultivater" (not sure about the name in english) working with a recruited worker, give it some advance and start a seeder with a recruited worker (just give some space between them for them not collide). Put a fertilizer machine with a recruited worker whenever you can and keep checking on the mature state on the crop and when possible start the harvesting (eventually with 2 harvesters), rinse and repeat. Check the stats page to see on the session and total columns how you are progressing. Notice that one of the actions (sowing?) do not have trophy - don't lose time with that one (unless you want to).

Regards,

Using the Condor 15001 allows you to seed and fertilize at the same time and both count towards both trophies.   It also does the soil but for some reason you can only dual the seeding/fertilizing with that machine.  You are supposed to put fertilizer in the front section and seed in the back section.  If you always hire workers, you will never have to refill it.

I am using the "stara star 32" a little smaller than the Condor but with more capacity and can be used in more tractors, before I passed the "bednar fb3000" for the styling trophy

I'm working on the second map. Bought up 4 fields and have a worker in each field at all times. It's a chore though to keep them all going but at this rate it's looking like 20 hours or so to get the 100 hectare trophies. Downside is I don't get much time to do missions during it all.

Update: Make that 15-16 hours.

So workers' job adds to total hectares done for trophies?

Is there a difference from map 1? Is there a better map for some reasons?

1° Yes.                                                                          2°There are no differences between maps, I took map 1 and took field 7, 8, 12 and the land in the middle to make a silo and farm to keep the harvest to have everything communicated.

I prefer the second map because I find it easier to get around. It took 19 hours for the platinum. The most annoying trophy for me was breeding cows. Purchased 180 of them to breed the last 20 and it took everything I could muster to keep them fed.

What is the best area and machines and type of cultivation for trophies of 100 hectares to be faster, cultivate, sow, fertilize, harvest.

I downloaded some mods on the ModHub (PS4). I downloaded the FS19 Dahl Ranch map. I installed multiple "Government Subsidy" sign wich gives you 150k an hour. Fast forward 120x a couple of hours. Buy plot 6. Take whatever seeds, I took Barley. It's easier to fill your fertilizer and seeder if you have a Multi Filling Station (Mod). To get rid of the Barley, just use a Multi Selling Station (Mod). Took me a couple of hours.

  • Harvester: CR10.90 Revelation (Header: 3162 Draper 45FT), 4 of them, you can get more but it'll be tedious to empty them all.
  • Truck to empty the Haversters: RoadRunner with SB II 30/1070 trailer, 4 of them.
  • Cultivator: ST820 attached to a Quadtrac Series, 4 of them.
  • Sow + Seeder: Seed Hawk XL Toolbar 84FT with a Seed Hawk 980 Air Cart attached, 4 of them.
  • Fertilizer: Fertilizer Spreader 10.000 (Mod) or K165 with 6m speading unit, 4 of them.

The best crop to grind hectares with is grass. The main point of this is that mowing counts as harvesting and there's no need to empty harvesters. So no driving around in trucks selling/dumping your produce. When you have enough wheat and corn for your animals, just do grass. Grass does regrow on its own, but you might as well cultivate and replant to get those trophies.

Cows hardly consume grass if you give them hay. Hay can be bought at the shop and the bail loader (under bailing technology) can transport 16 bales and comes with an auto loader.

Sheep are easy as well: load up one largest loading wagon with grass and keep that on the feeding area of the sheep. This can then clean the sheep feeding area as well, like once every 2 days and has enough grass for the entire sheep breeding trophy.

Any crop that sucks fertilizer real quick? For some reason, those 3-in-1 machines (cultivate, seeder, fertilizer) only count as sowing for me on 2nd map (was 2 things before on my testrun save on map 1 including fertilize).

Got harvest and cultivate trophies and sowing is like 5 ha. left with conventional machines + fertilizer spreaders at front. Fertilize is at 34 ha. though. Problem is fertilizer on ground get lower real slow.

thanks for the tip. all perfect apart harvester part that was a nightmare in this setup. better getting  mower and harvest/drop everything in no time, without need of empty the harvest

May I ask what you mean by that? I want to try the method you quoted in your comment above, but I want to make it as efficient as possible.

End yes, late reply on an already dead topic perhaps but worth a shot, right?

i dont remember well right now, but i think i intended that instead of empty harvester in the silos, ive dropped the harvest on the ground, by using a mower
