@DamagingRob This is how tombs will look on ps5. 🙃 I will leave how Lara will look to your imagination, but i bet it will take a lot of triangles.

Edit: Just for reference. First Lara Croft model was made of around 230 triangles.

But the next generation isn’t only about graphics...oh wait, yes it is.

My (mostly) joking aside, it does look really impressive. Now if only companies will place the same level of care into character/story development and gameplay instead of generic rehash hidden behind pretty pictures and explosions but hey, that recipe is making Marvel and Disney billions so why bother.

Nice surprise after the underwhelming XBOX games reveal. It looks really good, just wish the video was not only 1080p.

It will be interesting to see what other developers are up to with their own engines. If everything in this demo works exactly as they say we can have a generation dominated by UE5.

I was just reading yesterday how from here on out the jump in graphics is going to be less noticeable compared to jumps from say the PS1 to PS2.

Well, I'm glad that's not quite true yet! Holy heck this is stunning

Well... not actually. The SSD in the PS5 will be amazing too because it means faster load times, and faster load times = more gameplay possibilities. Not just no loading screens - how fast objects can pop in, how your levels are designed, etc. But yes, that tech demo blew me away. Horizon already looked good, but this is incredible.

This was indeed impressive. Now I want to see what some of Sony's own studios will do with the PS5.

I am definitely buying this day one.

It's a tech demo. Not a game.

Ahhh.. a fellow ACE.

Yeah, that. And, if rumors hold up, with the 25th anniversary and all perhaps we could also see AC: Zero brought to full glory in a PS5 remaster-

Can’t wait to see how beautiful the Ratalaika games look on the PS5  1f601.png

Imagine it, 9 to 12 stacks per game.

Things are getting exciting as we move closer and closer to the launch of next generation gaming. It's only gonna get better in a variety of ways (visually, audibly, tangibly, all equalling more immersion) as the generation moves on. I'm ready!
