Do not play this game for trophies.

Quite possibly the worst game I have ever played, and I have played some complete garbage bullshit. The enemies will nudge you just enough to knock you off a platform, and with no checkpoints during the levels, you have to restart from the beginning. Enemy hitboxes are insanely varied, bow and arrow feels wonky trying to hit aerial enemies, and the level design is fucking terrible. Would not recommend to a single person who thinks this is just a 15 minute plat, game is garbage, and if you see my profile, that's saying something.

It is an easy platinum as I just recently did it, but not without a good dose of frustration before it happened. I should have assumed something was going to be amiss, but was tempted by anime cleavage and went with it anyway. The game is basically an amalgamation of Super Mario Bros., Mega Man, Legend of Zelda, and Castlevania, but unfortunately lacks all substance that made those games legends. But for any looking to play it for a +1, some precautionary words:

Upgrades are practically worthless.
They only last the duration of the map before being reset. However, they only increase Speed and Jump, and if they get too high can make some of the platforming trickier than it already is.

Your lifebar is also kind of worthless.
You have a Zelda-ish 3-heart bar, and can increase it by finding heart containers. You get insta-killed by fire, spikes, falling traps, and squashed by moving platforms. Touching enemies damages you and takes away hearts, but being hit by a boss's projectile one-shots you—regardless of how many hearts you have. Luckily you respawn right in the boss room, but bosses take a lot of hits, so you may end up dying right before the last couple of hits and have to start over.

You'll start over a lot.
If you die, you have to reset the entire area from the beginning. No checkpoints. You lose all your upgrade power, and just have to do everything all over again. The first couple of areas are short so it's not a huge deal, but they do get a bit longer at Stage 3.

Arrows are weak, but good?
You have unlimited arrows, and they fly nearly the whole length of the screen. They can also be fired in any upward direction. 2 arrow shots equal the damage of 1 sword slash, but you can safely kill most bosses from a distance just jumping and shooting arrows.

The last stage makes you go through the entire game again.
Yup. The game is short, but the kicker is that right before the last boss, you basically are forced to go through the entire game over again. Same layout, same enemies—however, the kicker is many areas have this incredibly annoying sepia overlay which makes some of the areas almost impossible to see. Especially Stage 3, where much of it is lit only by torches.

It’s not a very hard game. It’s slightly harder than most 1-hour platinums.
