Popular Post Chaos_Bladez
Hey everyone. I reviewed the game and wanted to give all of you trophy hunters a warning: do not put the game in rest mode. Going offline (which happens when you go into rest mode) basically bugs out the trophies. Start fresh from the dashboard every time. It seems like this was a bug back in 2011 as well, but consoles having rest mode now will make this bug more prevalent. Learn from my mistakes! Thankfully, I didn't lose much and am on the verge of getting the platinum. Edited May 22, 2020 by Chaos_Bladez
Rias Gremory
True. But I kept my PS4 on anyway just like I did on Saints Row IV the 40 hour trophy.
OTPYG
Thanks for the heads up, this is good to know as I always utilise rest mode. Is this the only bug/glitch you came across? Hoping this isn’t a disgrace like the other big ‘remaster’ to come out this week has been. Edited May 22, 2020 by OTPYG

I usually use rest mode a lot too and figured others do as well. It's nuts how this bug is still in there. I did run into bugs, yes. It crashed on me a few times and I had to restart a couple of the missions. It wasn't like unplayable but disappointing as this remaster was barely skin deep with no changes other than the new lighting and character, vehicle, and gun models. It sounds a lot better than the Mafia 2: Definitive Edition though.
CaptainJeff87
Wish I would've read this before starting last night I found it odd how after an hour or so of gameplay I hadn't unlocked a single trophy Thankfully I only did the first few missions and some side stuff so I won't lose too much progress I was worried I was having the same issue I had late last year where trophies weren't popping for some games but when I did the requirement I got an error pop up. I ended up having to do a factory reset but thankfully a huge bulk of my games were on an external HDD so I didn't have to reinstall too much

Lance_87
Rest Mode should be forbidden for games. Been a problem since the PSP days with both modded and unmodded consoles.

One of the points of rest mode is so you can keep the game running so taking that away would sorta defeat the purpose

Valzentia
Got nailed with this bug without even going into rest mode. Thankfully only had to repeat one mission as I obsessively make backups for damn near everything. Hope they get a fix out for this.
Dragonslayer_023
I didn't use rest mode and Kuh, Boom.still didn't pop... It's possible that "minimizing" the game at all, going to the PS4's homescreen or even quick menu, may cause the trophies to glitch. Becomes normal when i close and reopen the game.

IKARUS-RG
It's a pretty good remaster in my opinion but the Rest Mode issue for trophies is sort of a bummer. I have pretty much everything except the Act 2 trophy because of that, haha. The game has crashed on me a few times as well at random points; either due to running too long or specific events. I tried to rob the same gun shop three times in a row and it crashed every time. Really strange. I don't think it's really impacted on my enjoyment of it that much though. Still having a blast.
BigBallOfHate
Completed all the challenges which I thought was the last thing I needed only to wait for the plat to pop, didn't, then I see I got glitched with Once Bitten... Braaaaaaains and I'm very certain it was because of this. Left the system on, went for a walk, came back and it had gone into rest mode and I didn't think anything of it. So I've got to go back through to the end of Act 2 and I'm damn sure saving a ton. Funny that I'm going to be doing the whole thing again as I just reacquired a PS3 and Saints Row: The Third along with it to pick up a few trophies I gave up on long ago. So I've got another 45 hours or so to spend with it, but at least it's a game I find good and not a slog.
Jables4889
I’ve been utilizing rest mode predominantly for about 20 hours of gameplay (about a week so like 7 ish rests) the only trophy I encountered that didn’t pop was life of the party. I Relaunched the game and reloaded from right before I got the last collectible and it popped immediately after getting that final drug package. IntrepidHunter
Unfortunately I didn't realize this or see this, and had gotten the majority of gameplay, minus story missions, out of the way. I realized something was wrong when I didn't get any of the trophies for complete gameplay takeover of the disctricts, or the city. I only had 2 saves, one just prior to my full takeover, and one save right before the mission that ends Act 1. I WAS able to get some glitched trophies to pop with some minimal success as follows: I closed the game out and reloaded it, and upon reload screen before I took over my character one trophy popped - the trophy for all gang locations completed in Steelport. I tried to mimic this for other trophies I had missed, but 3x of reloading proved no further trophies would unlock in the same manner. I then reloaded the last save I had where I had completed all the right-most island Morningstar Takeover, but had not completed any others. I completed Decker territory takeover, and BOTH trophies for the Morningstar and Decker popped. I attempted to duplicate this with the story trophy I was missing (the one for decker.exe mission) and continued thru the story until after 'Stag Party' for the next story-based trophy, but while 'I Heart Nyteblade' popped, the trophy for decker.exe did not. Now I just have to go back and replay for Genki, Insurance Fraud, Trafficking and Escort as well as the decker.exe gameplay, but at least I don't have to start all over again from scratch - especially as I knocked out all the challenge stuff, assassinations, and vehicle thefts I could early on - I had observed this trophies hadn't popped but had thought more instances would follow as I competed more story missions, mistakenly. Hopefully this helps someone who didn't miss as many as I did.
Jamescush147
Crap....missed the Life of the Party trophy because of this. ? The one time I was offline too. Should be easy because this is the 'The Full Package' version of the game. I will be using that single flyer bike-thing to get the trophies using an online guide. hybridhero102
You can play the game completely offline and get all the trophies with no problems, I've done this all myself just start the game up after going into your settings and then network and disable your Internet connection
KoeichiHero
Has anyone found a way to fix the story-based trophies? I just completed Murderbrawl 31 and accidentally hit my PS Button on my controller and trophy didn’t pop. I saved right after I loaded back up into the city. I really don’t wanna have to play through this entire game again just for this 1 trophy.
