Marrying another Player

Are you missing out on any trophies if you marry another player instead of an NPC? I'm thinking about the star drop you get when your NPC spouse reaches 12 hearts (or 13, don't remeber), can you get that one too if marrying another player?

I haven't played since the multiplayer first launched, so this might be out of date.

When me and my coop partner married, he wasn't able to get the hearts, but was still able to have a kid.

 

You might be better off with marrying Haley and getting the extra hearts, by duplicating a ton of diamonds. That was the fastest way for me to get the trophy knocked off.
