LoveInHell Posted May 28, 2020 Share Posted May 28, 2020 (edited) I'm stuck on Progression > Field Research: Firewall > Stage 2. I can't seem to do one of objectives: "No Smoking" - Complete the Manning National Zoo mission against the Outcasts on Normal or higher difficulty. I did a bit of research and got nowhere. The Manning National Zoo is (apparently) an Expedition and to do this mission you have to speak to the Pilot at the White House. But when me and my friend went there, the pilot only shows one mission: Kenly College. It is also the only Expedition that appears on our map. We can't seem to start the Expedition and I don't know when this activity resets. When I go to Progression > Expedition, it shows 4 Expeditions but all of them have a red timer of 00m -01s. The Pilot also doesn't let us go there. The Expedition on the map says "Next available at an unannounced time". Progression > Expedition also says "Unavailable". vvinushan Posted May 28, 2020 Share Posted May 28, 2020 As far as I'm aware, the Manning National Zoo is not an expedition. I do believe it is a stronghold mission (they changed to this a little while ago) and it can now get invaded. Are you sure you did the normal version and not the invaded? I can’t find the mission anywhere. Not in my progression or my map. I haven’t done the last Black Tusk mission yet, do I have to complete that first? Apparently if this is what happend you can only wait and pray for it to come back. I still have a message dated from the early The Division 2 days from one of the developers saying the following: "Expeditions are a rotating experience that will be open for some time, close for a limited duration and become available again later." I’m going to be really pissed if I can’t get the plat because of this. If there is a rotation of when they are available and when not, they should put a timer in game. Just how Destiny 2 has a reset every week on the same day. My Expeditions in Progression show a timer of 00 seconds in red. This is just frustrating... I want to do these challenges. Its not just the plat only, you literally can’t unlock a specialisation if this mission really is an Expedition. I’m going to keep playing and see if it unlocks somewhere, maybe I need to progress even more. I don’t have a stronghold that is called Manning Zoo either. I’ll post again here and update. If its the case that this is indeed an Expedition and they removed it permanently, then this plat has become unobtainable. Sky_RykerXD Posted May 30, 2020 Share Posted May 30, 2020 Alright so, I don't think you ever need to go to the pilot, everything can be done from two menus (Touchpad and Options buttons). I could be wrong here if it's part of the story mode, that was a while ago for me. You need to be level 30 and in World Tier 5 (WT5). You will have projects that need to be completed to go from WT1 to WT5. Manning National Zoo and Camp White Oak unlock during that process and are at the very top of the map. If it's Red (Invaded), it will give you a list of missions that need to be done before it unlocks. You can turn this off though with Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
