BEWARE! Character deletion glitch.

My girlfriend and I have played this in local co-op since we got it so both our characters were the same level (33) but today when we went idle for a bit she was logged out and once she re-joined her character had disappeared.

 

We tried reloading the game, restarting the PS4, logging in and logging out etc but it is completely gone forcing her to restart from scratch. 

 

Just wanted to let people know. I've submitted a ticket with Mojang but I doubt they'll get back to me anytime soon.

i experienced, i played coop with my mate. my main was level 103, he started fresh. we joined on the same console. played for abit. i logged out so he could play solo. and his character was level 103. it took my level and gave it to him. but, it didn't have enchantment points. so we had to delete and start again for him.

Same here, been playing with my kids and we had 3 Lvl 20+ characters. I logged in yesterday to try to farm some food items for the trophy, and one of the 3 characters was gone.

Holy shit, this game is absolutely broken. Avoid this like the plague until a patch comes out.

I cannot get past level 30. The game crashes every 45 minutes, and I've now had it delete my character *twice* in the past 24 hours (I restored from a backup after it did it the first time).

Playing it with the wife 3-4 hrs in game crashes.. Corrupt data. Brilliant. I wouldnt mind so much but this game is boring af.
