MF DOOM/JJ DOOM

 

I used to be a huge hip hop listener growing up in the 90s and early 2000s. Today's rap is absolute trash and completely cookie cutter.

 

The only artists I can remotely stand anymore are underground rappers, namely MF DOOM and a number of others. I used to rock Eninem, some Ja Rule, and much as I'm a little ashamed to admit it, Kayne West.

 

Yes, Kayne West used to be halfway decent. But today? He is completely wack, a complete sellout and obviously stupid because he has said some ridiculous shit.

 

The mainstream hip hop today I wouldn't even qualify as music.

It's not a genre but I'm not a big fan of German. To me that very language and music shouldn't ever be used in the same sentence. There's one song however, where some guy raps in German and I love it. That song is In Cold Blood by alt-J ft Kontra K

I don't really like dubstep, but still, i listen to Skrillex from time to time..."first of the year" and "Bangarang" are pretty great.

 

My guilty pleasure (and my favorite waifu ever!) is Jewel , man...i love that woman! She's my crush since the 90's.
