Supreme Spice, weird or bugged??

Is there something I'm missing regarding the Supreme Spice trophy?  I've counted through my completed variants 10 times, and I definitely have over 72 completed.

 

22 Torm variants

17 Kelemvor Variants

14 Helm variants

22 event variants

75 Total Variants

 

But no trophy :(.  What's the deal with that??? JerrySeinfeld.jpg

I do not think I had an issue with it. Give me a moment and I will go count how many I have finished. I know as soon as the trophy triggered, I stopped doing Variants and switched to Free-Play games.

I just filled out a support ticket, and getting back to my Free Play grinding.  Maybe they can help me out with why it isn't triggering.

The rest of my variant level's were events unlocking characters. I am unable to look up when one's I finished because they are only displayed when the event is active.

You can earn 3 variants during events for ea character.

 

 

1 variant can be completed using 6 Time Gates pieces or Free Gate.

I'm definitely having issues with this Trophy. Once I got Super Spice (48 Variants) I started writing down each and every Variant I completed. I expected the trophy to pop up at the 24th one but nothing happened. This was a few days ago. I sent a ticket to support and they told me I only had 67 out of 72. I thought maybe some of the ones I did previously didn't count but I decided to finish another 5 variants. However, at the end of the 5th one, the Trophy still didn't pop! I sent another support ticket but I'll try and continue with some other adventures in the mean time. There definitely seems to be some bug with the counting. For reference, the last five I completed after the support ticket were:

Visions of Strahdl

Expert Opinion

Hatchlings Underfoot

Heavy Burden

Support did respond to my ticket yesterday, they had me at 71 variants.  And I completed one more this morning and my trophy did pop.  And I recounted everything again; 76 total variants.

 

As the game is unstable and crashes, I wonder if that can effect your variant count?  I know I've had the game crash as I completed missions before so I wonder if that could effect the count.

I heard back from support. They didn't tell me my new count but they did say they fixed my stat so it would pop. They did mention it was strange, though. But I completed yet another two variants and the trophy still did not pop! There is something seriously wrong with how they check the count. I'm hoping this can be resolved so I can actually get that platinum soon.

So after a couple of more messages with support, I asked them to reset the counter back to 71 variant wins and they said "OK, no problem". I also asked them to escalate the issue since it's seems like a pretty annoying bug. I finished up one more variant this morning and the trophy finally popped!! I can't believe it took that much to finally get it. Hopefully the 250 Free Play trophy isn't an issue.

Fortunately I didn't have that issue for 250 Free Plays, I just got my Plat an hour or so ago.  I'm glad they got your count sorted though, I was spooked when I posted about it and didn't see a prior thread about the 72 count.

No the base missions don't count as variant, only the ones with the special rules which you can't free-play

I have reached out to their support on this as well. Thanks a lot for mentioning that! I hadn't considered doing so. I'm at 59 / 48 for the Super Spice trophy. Should have Supreme Spice in 2 event's time if I can get this resolved, if not sooner. Time to start on the free-play grind.

 

Edit: I got a response from support. Looks like I'll pop the 48 trophy during the next event. I'm going to close the game and restart before finishing each variant adventure, and may ask them for a correction before the following event.

I'm having the same issue with the 24 variants trophy. I'm way past it now on like 31 and it hasn't yet popped. 

 

Might just do the same and stick to free plays in the mean time, as I have already done 50+. Hopefully can get a shiny item as well, at some point, fingers crossed lol.

 

Frustrating because I really enjoy the game, but don't want anything to glitch out and become unobtainable.

Same here. Reached out to Support. At Nearly 50 Variants I think and the 24 one hasn't even popped yet.

Ive got the same problem, contacted the support. they told me: we are aware of the problem and working on it. But no help for my trophy, I completed about 80 variants and no supreme spice trophy...

I contacted the support yesterday and they told me I have 111 variants and the trophies supposedly unlocked, but I don´t have them. I tried to complete another adventure, but no trophy pops...

Still nothing for me either, had the response from support saying "we are aware of the issue".

 

Completed 2 more variants from the midsummer event and nothing popped then. I'm just grinding free plays hoping they fix it in an update soon.

Okay, these trophies are definitely bugged, but I had a “positive glitch”, Super Spice and Supreme Spice popped at the same time, and I have no idea why.

 

This happened at an event variant. I had a suspicion that I was over 48, but as far as I know, I wasn’t near 72. Didn’t count, though, could be. I was kind of looking forward doing more variants, because they’re the only challenge in this game.

 

They need to add a stat counter.

You'd think in a stats based game they'd be better at keeping track of numbers (for trophies) but i guess not.

 

Its a free game so im not totally bothered i guess.

Update from me. I completed another Midsummer event (the 3rd and final Xander variant), and had both the 24 and 48 variant trophies pop, which I believe is a correct count for 24, not sure about 48, as I've done events in the past that I haven't kept count of.

 

I'm not sure if unlocking the milestone for doing all 3 of the Xander missions helped trigger it or something like that, but for anyone still struggling, possibly try doing that. With a firebreath and speed potions, the Xander ones were all pretty simple. 

 

Hopefully this means that at the minimum I have 24 adventures to go before getting Supreme Spice, so am just going to wait for more events. Fortunately I got my first shiny item a few days ago from a basic silver chest, so no RNG to rely on either before the platinum!

 

Additional update: Did one more variant and Supreme Spice popped so have no clue what it is up with the count lmao

For me something weird happend too, The spice of life (12 variants) and Pretty Spicy now (24 variants) popped at the same timestamp, unfortunately the 24 came up first as well according to psnp. I hope there won't be any problem with flaggin now because of this, but I'm glad I'm not the only one who noted this, so hopefully this thread counts as proof for the future.

I couldn’t get the 24 and 48 trophies to unlock either. I was at 60+ variants at least completed, with the last unlocked variant trophy being the 12 one.

Tonight I tried deleting the game and re-downloading it and upon completion of one variant, the 24, 48 and 72 trophies unlocked! Give it a go because I’d given up hope on getting these trophies.
