Popular Post SongokuJidai
Formatting is as follows: [?][?][?][❄️] Denotes the season in which the objective must be completed. If there isn't an emoji, it shouldn't matter. Objectives where officer names are in bullet points like this for example are usually a case of "own him OR him OR him". If you need everyone, it will be stated explicitly. I'm going to assume you've played enough of the game to know who most characters are by name, except when they have similar names like Yoshimoto Imagawa (Kemari Mr. Mime guy) or Yoshihiro Shimazu (old man hammer guy). Territorial Events Taming the Chaos - Start a playthrough where the ambition is to unite the land. First Step - Start a playthrough with a different ambition to unite the land. A Land United - Complete the Unite the Land ambition. A Dream Realized - Complete any ambition (except Unite the Land). Expanding lands - Capture 10 or more castles. A Mighty Force - Capture 20 or more castles. First Encounter - Invade or Defend territory for the first time. Final Battle - Conquer the last territory needed to unite the land. These are pretty easy to get and you likely won't need these if you're here. Historical Events Warm Sandals - [❄️] Control at least 3 castles. The Three Arrows Unbroken - [?] Have one of these guys as your Daimyo: Takakage Kobayakawa Hisahide Matsunaga Motonari Mori Kanetsugu Naoe Shingen Takeda Ieyasu Tokugawa Magoichi Saika The Three Arrows Broken - [?] Have some of the names above as regular officers - none are Daimyo. If the Nightingale won't sing... - [?] You have 15 or more officers, and at least two are friends. Keiji's Cold Bath Decieved - [❄️] Keiji Maeda is employed, and you have at least 10 officers. Keiji's Cold Bath Avoided - [❄️] As above, but you have 25 or more. Send Salt to the Enemy - Win a battle against an opponent who does not have contact with the sea/surrounded by only land (not take over entire enemy territory). This is pretty easy if you start at Kawakanajima with Kenshin Uesugi, and immediately invade Shingen Takeda's land. That also gets you the Kawakanajima event below. Duel - [?] You have two officers known for their swordsmanship skills. Genesis Mode - have Kojiro Sasaki and Musashi Miyamoto employed in your clan in summer. Piece of p/ss. Unworthy - Have a loyal retainer and Tier 3 castle. People - Have 25 or more officers in clan who have been placed as magistrates. If you're going for "unite the land" then make sure to swap people out now and again. Honestly, you'll prolly get this without trying. Long into the Night - Have 5 or less castles, and 5,000 troops less than your neighbours. Clear Vision Hideyoshi - Start Incident at Honnoji as Hideyoshi Toyotomi. Clear Vision Other Clans - Start Honnoji as Tokugawa or Katsuiie Shibata. Howling at the Moon - Employ an officer who use to be part of an enemy clan. Reminder - Lose a defensive battle. The Short Sword - triggers after 28 full turns of a scenario if 2 officers have become sworn allies. Get this during Unite The Land. Four Proud Warriors - Have the entire Shimazu clan employed. Start as the Shimazu and play to turn 3. Sumo - Two male officers are sworn allies. Must have 10 castles or more. The Challenge - Have Masanori Fukushima in the clan for 10 turns or more. He's this guy. Start with him in Genesis mode as an officer while you go for others. Budgeting Lesson - have less money than you started with after 8 turns. Must have one of these employed: Ieyasu Tokugawa Toshiie Maeda Kanbei Kuroda Nobuyuki Sanada Hisahide Matsunaga A Leader's Concern - Have 50 or more officers in your clan and one of these guys in the Personnel Room as Magistrate: Yoshihiro Shimazu Kanbei Kuroda Takatora Todo Muneshige Tachibana. Three Party Talks - Have two ally clans after 4 turns of the start of the scenario. Tokugawa in Sekigahara gets this with no effort, so long as you don't go out of your way to break the alliances. Proud Owners - [?] Have at least 35 officers in your clan, with 2 officers being married to one another. Sorcery Frightened - [?] Have at least 5 castles. Must have one of these employed: Nobunaga Oda Hanzo Hattori Okuni Yosh/tsugu Otani Sakon Shima Yoshihisa Shimazu Takatora Todo Munenori Yagyu Sorcery Unperturbed - [?] As above, but 10 castles. Kindness - Have 30 or more officers, and have a daimyo with an officer who were known to be friends. Nobunaga and Hideyoshi, Nobunaga - Ieyasu, Nobunaga - Katsuiie Shibata, just to name a few. Surprise - [?] Masamune Date must be Daimyo. You must have 25 or more officers. One of your magistrates or strategists must not own a horse. Overcoming the Odds - Have 12 or more castles and employ one of: Yukimura Sanada, Toshiie Maeda Kai Masanori Fukushima Naotora or Naomasa Ii Toyohisa Shimazu Benevolence - Have few food provisions, and/or suffer from poor crop harvest. Throw a bunch of food away in a summer battle and see if RNG gives you a famine in the fall. You shouldn't have to grind for this. Parade in the Capital - Must have Unite the Land ambition. Have 17 or more castles, must include Nijo Palace Almost all officers must have a mount. Dismiss most of your army near the end of your UtL campaign, keeping only unique characters like Nobunaga, Hideyoshi etc (i.e. non-generics). Then give them each a horse until it pops - you should be able to do three a season, otherwise you'll have to give a horse to 100 people and that takes like 20 in game years. Imperial Approval - happens right after Parade in the Capital. Inspiring the Men - Build a tier 2 castle and have at least 3 officers. Secrets of a Master Builder - Build a tier 3 castle, must employ: Kiyomasa Kato Kanbei Kuroda Ujiyasu Hojo Takatora Todo Hisahide Matsunaga Growth - Build a Tier 4 Castle. Must have at least three officers. Which you no doubt will. A Life Saved - [?] Begin a battle with one of the following participating and employed: Keiji Maeda Shingen Takeda Yoshimoto Imagawa Hisahide Matsunaga Katakura Kojuro. Augury Good Omens - [?] Augury Ill Omens - [?] Own 10 castles. One of the following is your strategist - and participated in battle: Kanbei Kuroda (emo old guy) Hanbei Takenaka (the little kid) Kojuro Katakura. You can get this with Surprise above if playing as Masamune Date, as you start with Kojuro and can get him as your strategist right away. The two are also well known friends for that other event above. Which one you get is a coin toss, but it's possible you can get both in one save if you meet the conditions. No Thanks Needed - Win a battle against a clan when you have 1500 less troops in battle. Must own 20+ castles. Not that hard, if you keep it in mind. Secret Springs Tohoku Hokuriku - [❄️] Win a battle in Tohoku-Hokuriku (North-East Japan) region, where one of the officers is Married or Sworn Allied with: Masamune Date Kanetsugu Naoe Katsuiie Shibata Aya Munenori Yagyu Kenshin Uesugi Mitsuhide Akechi Katakura Kojuro. Both members of the couple must participate in battle. Secret Springs Kanto - [❄️] Win a battle in Kanto (South-East Japan) region, where one of the officers is Married or Sworn Allied with: Ina Toshiie Maeda Kai Ujiyasu Hojo Nobuyuki Sanada Yosh/tsugu Otani Lady Hayakawa Both members of the couple must participate in battle. Secret Springs Chubu - [❄️] Win a battle in Chubu (around here) region, where one of the officers is Married or Sworn Allied with: Yukimura Sanada Keiji Maeda Nobunaga Oda Kunoichi Shingen Takeda No Yoshimoto Imagawa Tadakatsu Honda Ieyasu Tokugara Kotaro Fuma Masanori Fukushima Naotora Ii Both members of the couple must participate in battle. Secret Springs Kinki- [❄️] Win a battle in Kinki (around here) region, where one of the officers is Married or Sworn Allied with: Magoichi Saika Hanzo Hattori Hideyoshi Toyotomi Mitsunari Ishida Nagamaza Azai Goemon Ishikawa Both members of the couple must participate in battle. Secret Springs Chugoku-Shikoku - [❄️] Win a battle in either Chugoku or Shikoku (here) where one of the officers is Married or Sworn Allied with: Okuni Ranmaru Mori (Nobunaga's Page, not to be confused with the Mori Clan in Chugoku) Both members of the couple must participate in battle. Secret Springs Kyushu - [❄️] Win a battle in Kyushu (here) where one of the officers is Married or Sworn Allied with: Yoshihiro Shimazu (old man hammer guy) Ginchiyo Tachibana Both members of the couple must participate in battle. I cannot confirm but I imagine Toyohisa Shimazu and Muneshige Tachibana are also good for this one. Secret Springs Lost - [❄️] win a battle in any region, where two of the officers are married or sworn allies. This is the vanilla version of the above events and apparently triggers 20% of the time. This one you will likely get naturally. A Leader's Words - Win a battle where an employed ally officer is defeated more than once. Must have 6 castles. One of the following must be your Daimyo: Okuni Nagamasa Asai Nene Gracia Naotora Ii Ōtani Yoshitsugu Takakage Kobayakawa Lady Hayakawa No real advice for this one. Play on hard, or nightmare, then have all your officers in battle hold your Main camp and let the enemy catch up to you. Let the officers get teamed on by the enemy. Once you lose two or more peeps, go on the offensive and win. The Heart's True Desire - Win a battle where an officer becomes an advisor. Officer may or may not need to battle without Daimyo. I got this one late, so probably without. Suggestion Box - Increase rank through request rank or honour court a certain number of times. Near the end of the game just petition the court a couple of times until you get it. Thinking of the People - [?] Have tier 3 castle and inspect the people. Behind Every Great Man - A male retainer is loyal and married - but does not own a horse. Tireless Training - [?] Have a Tier 3, and two female officers in the military room. Easy enough to get on your Women of Action playthrough. Battle Events All Must be done in Conquest Mode Battle of Okehazama - Start as Nobunaga and you go straight into a battle vs Yoshimoto Fourth Battle of Kawanakajima - Start as Kenshin or Shingen and attack the other. I suggest Kenshin, as that gets you the Salt event above when you win. Battle of Anegawa - Start as Azai or Oda and wage war against the other. Battle of Mikatagahara - Start the Okehazama scenario as Shingen Takeda, and invade the Imagawa, THEN the Tokugawa. Battle of Nagashino - Start as Nobunaga on the Nagashino scenario and attack Katsuyori Takeda. Incident At Honnõji - Start as Mitsuhide on Honnoji scenario as it immediately starts the battle. Battle of Yamazaki - Start as Mitsuhide or Hideyoshi on Honnoji scenario and wage war against the other. Get this right after the previous one. Battle of Shizugatake - Start as Hideyoshi on Honnoji and wage war on Katsuiie Shibata. You can do the other way around, but playing as Hideyoshi is better as you can also get: Battle of Komaki-Nagakute - Start as Hideyoshi (or Ieyasu Tokugawa) and wage war on the other. Battle of Sekigahara - Start as Ieyasu Tokugawa or Mitsunari Ishida and wage war on the other. Battle of Odawara Castle - Attack Odawara (in Kanto) while Ujiyasu is alive and the ruler of Odawara. Second Battle of Gassan-Toda Castle - As Motonari Mori, attack the Amago and win. Shikanosuke Yamanaka must be in the Amago Clan. Dot his on Okehazama scenario. Battle of Mt. Inaba Castle - Attack the Saito at Inabayama Castle. Easiest to do as the Oda on Okehazama. Battle of Mimase Pass - As Ujiyasu Hojo, attack Shingen Takeda. Battle of Kawanakajima. Battle of Shimanto River - As Motochika Chosokabe, attack the Ichijo. They're directly to the west of you in Shikoku. Then you can jump down to Hetsugigawa. Battle Of Tetorigawa - Start as Nobunaga or Kenshin and wage war on the other. Battle of Mimigawa - As Otomo or Shimazu, wage war against the other. Both these guys are in Kyushu, far west of the map. First Battle of Ueda Castle - Attack Ueda castle while Masayuki Sanada is the ruler. Can get this first turn of Sekigahara scenario if you do it as Tokugawa. Battle of Hitotori Bridge - As Masamune Date or Yoshishige Satake, wage war against the other. Battle of Hetsugigawa - As Motochika Chosobake, attack Yoshihiro Shimazu. Battle of Hasedo - Start as Masamune Date or Kagekatsu Uesugi and attack the other. Battle of Sekigahara. Human Relations Events A Budding Friendship - Deepen relationship between two officers, then use them both in a battle and complete the objective. You likely have this. Firm Friends - Repeat the above. Confession - Deepen the relationship between a male officer and female officer who are friends and use them both in battle. Wedding Day - As above. Deepening Bonds - Two friends continue to fraternise, and are both the same sex, will eventually become sworn allies. Respect - Two officers who fight together often, but don't fraternise, will become rivals. Worthy Rivals - As above. A Valued Enemy - One officer in battle (i.e. You) defeats most of the enemy officers and forces, usually with Musou attacks. An enemy officer will become your nemesis after repeated battles. The Highest Regard - As above. Proving Oneself - Have one officer continue to train another (use someone with high skill to teach low skill) then use both in battle to prove themselves. Great Expectations - Use a certain magistrates policies again and again to convince them to become a retainer, then use them in battle. It helps to do this with women officers to get the Women in Action trophy. Devotion - As above. The Four Guardians - When you have four retainers, you can appoint them as your Four Guardians. If they're all women, you get a trophy for it. Common Interests Academia - Construct a castle that has a strategy room Common Interests Martial Arts - Construct a castle that has a dojo Common Interests Tea Ceremony - Construct a castle that has a tea room Common Interests Strategy - Construct a castle that has a study room Common Interests Foreign Culture - Construct a castle that has a Western room Other Conquest Mode - Start conquest mode for the first time Credits - Beat the game at least once. ligredeicieli
If anybody else, like I did, is struggling to get the "Parade in the Capital" event to happen, check whatever you have any alliance with other clans and end them. When I ended the one alliance I had, the event immediately happened.

I cannot for the life of me get this to trigger. I start a Genesis mode give myself 1 castle with 3 warriors and surround myself with full stack enemies. I skip turns for several years then one of them kills me and ends the game. Do I have to do something else before this triggers or is my RNG just this bad?
