Demon's Souls! It's official!

I think the box art is decent. I definitely prefer the Japanese box art of the PS3 version because it's more subtle, but there have been worse-looking box art for other games in the series. It would be cool if it had a reversible cover that resembled the original. I wonder if Japan will get a different one this time around.

So it's all but confirmed that Demon's Souls will either be a launch title or released in the launch window at this point, right? If so, the PS5 will be far more appealing to me than the PS4 was early on in its life cycle.

Well, the cover says "Art Not Final", so I hope they will change it at the release. It looks not bad, but I would prefer the more minimalistic style.

The best artwork (and also my favourite).

i could see them calling it Demons Souls Reborn. I only got as far as the Dragon God (was that his name? it was a giant dragon that was basically in a lava pit) before i got tired of the controls. so if they improve the controls i would definitely be up for trying it again.

IGN says it's a launch game.

Bluepoint Games and Sony Japan's Demon's Souls remake is a PS5 launch game, and will also arrive on PC. It will be a timed console exclusive.

Announced at September's PS5 event, we also saw much more of the game in an extended gameplay demo that really showed off the graphical grunt in Bluepoint Games' remake.

It looks smooth, highly detailed, and a truly impressive update of a PS3 game that is feeling a bit creaky these days.

Bluepoint's latest remake was revealed during the Sony summer showcase with a first look at a return to the world first made famous by From Software on the PS3.

I was thinking about this earlier and went holy shit first game stack for ps5 and it could be demon souls.

I don't think we'll get the same treatment since it seems they normalized the publishing rights. I've earned the platinum over 150 times since 2009, and I'd do it 100 more times if given the chance.

The gameplay trailer was deleted from the Playstation channel, hmmm

Seems like all the PornHub traffic went straight to Sony to have a wank. Guess they couldn't handle the load.
