Popular Post Geridian
At the moment it is 06:30 in the morning in Germany, so this means: Good morning people Time for my second update with 2 more games completed: 2 - 1142 - Back to the Future [PS3] [DISC] Spoiler Nice Telltale game with missable trophies and even a platinum when you play the disc version. All 5 parts are included on the disc, no download is needed. This game has only one negative aspect from the technical side which is not affected through the speed of the HDD inserted in the PS3: When you make a choose sometimes the game seems to freeze for some seconds, then the next scene is loaded. If the PS version has the same issue? I don´t know. A huge difference when you compare the PS3 disc version with the PS4 disc version is that the PS3 disc version includes German voice acting. On the PS4 version only the English voice acting is included. The story is funny and everything what you would expect from something with the "Back to the Future" tag to be. Imo they could use the story for a new movie. Got this game on a flee market, never saw it in a Gamestop or something like this before and also never saw it again since that day anywhere. This was really a lucky find. Ok, I got the PS4 version also from a Gamestop some time ago, which was also a lucky find because I never saw it somewhere before and also never saw it again since that day anywhere. 1 - 5941 - Vikings: Wolves of Midgard [PS4] Spoiler How and what should I best write about this game? At first sight a typical Hack & Slash game: Many monsters Lots of loot You collect experience points (in this case: blood) and increase experience levels. Depending on the map, there are certain "weather problems" (polluted air, cold, heat) which fill a special bar ("environmental damage bar") over time. If this bar is full you get damage over time. If you seek shelter in a cave or safe zone, the "environmental damage bar" is emptied over time. You must keep in mind that your character can die because of the damage over time! Also this game has a normal mode and a hardcore mode with permadeath. You can do backup saves to overcome this, but you must backup all savegames of this game anytime (all characters and menu data included) because this game seems to save the character progress almost in every save. Also the bug with the "Ringer of Runes" trophy got fixed some time ago. The stash is also shared between all your characters. Maps are not random in any way like maps are in Diablo 3, they are always the same. So: What are the cons? The cons mostly have to do with how the multiplayer mode is programmed: This is game is limited to two players on MP. This game supports two player MP via LAN, PSN and couch co-op. I only took part in LAN and PSN MP. Some trophies do not unlock in MP for player 2, mostly the "End the game" trophies for characters and difficulty. This may have something to do with the fact that story progress is only counted for player one while character progress is saved for both. For the host it can happen that story progress is not counted when you get a disconnect mid mission and start a new game to carry on: You will start from the last checkpoint but also with a huge chance that you will not get the campaign trophy afterwards. ==> Imo Diablo 3 is still the best MP Hack&Slay game on PS4. My recommendation if you like Hack&Slash MP: Avoid Vikings, buy D3. 1 - 5941 - Vikings: Wolves of Midgard [PS4] [LINK] 2 - 1142 - Back to the Future [PS3] [DISC] [LINK] 3 - Started: 1393 - I Am Alive [PS3] [LINK] 4 - 3724 - Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment [PS4] [LINK] 5 - 2785 - Risen 3: Titan Lords [PS3] [LINK] 6 - Maybe: 7296 - Moss [PS4] [PSVR] [EU] 7 - Maybe: 3767 - Everybody's Gone To The Rapture [PS4] [LINK] 8 - Maybe: 1688 - Zone of the Enders HD Edition [PS3] [LINK] 9 - 0 - Have fun and a nice weekend people Edited August 29, 2020 by Geridian

Popular Post Upendo_Vitani
0 - A Summer with the Shiba Inu 1 - Concept Destruction 5 - What Remains of Edith Finch 6 - Ratchet and Clank 7 - Crossovers by POWGI (NA) 9- Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom So I got a couple cheap easy games in the sale, one of which being my #7. The other one is Bubsy Paws on Fire which as embarassing as it is, looks kinda fun to me. I believe that one is a #2 iirc. May pick up the remaining numbers after my next paycheck and then I can get a fully coloured unicorn!! There's no way I can complete P5R because I don't feel like playing big games right now, and I might save it for my ps4's last hurrah before the new console comes out. Popular Post Alex_Hedgehog
So I come back with 2 more rather short but really good games. A Way Out is truly a game made just like a movie. Really loved the fact that I finally could platinum something together with my brother at once. The Missing is a game that I would never heard of if not Limited Run Games. I bought it there and I really (and I mean REALLY) liked the game, even though the regeneration animations are getting repetitive in like a middle of the playthrough. Maybe I will manage to finish the event, maybe not.. 0 - Red Dead Redemption 2 1 -2 -3 - God of War 4 - The MISSING: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories 100% 5 - Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 100%6 - A Way Out 7 - The Council 8 -9 -

Finally got around to playing and completing Journey though, such a great experience and even though I couldn't connect to my friend for the Companion trophy so needed to do it with a random, I still had a good time playing at the same pace and chatting about the game.
Popular Post Han_the_Dragon
It's been ages since I last posted an update, but I bought an apartment at the end of July and my workload increased 5x, so, I barely got any time to play (or rest) during the past month... Still, I finally finished another game for the event (Zenith). Was quite a funny game with all it's distorted references to other games/movies/books along with the constant sarcasm ? I'm finally on vacations, so, I will see if I can get the remaining games done.. Maybe starting with Primal, since I started it for a different event years ago and never finished it (not as interesting as my memory told me... Definitely a crappy port). And, ya, I also still have a long way to go on Ghost of Tsushima... Really loved the game so far, but my lack of time have been forcing me to stay away from it.. 0 - Samurai Shodown (9210) 1 - Goodbye Deponia (8701) 2 - Zenith (5252) ? 3 - Chaos on Deponia (6963) 4 - Granblue Fantasy: Versus (10334) | Nier Automata (5864) | State of Mind (7914) | Seasons Fall (6144) 5 - Republique (4455) | Vambrace: Cold Soul (9575) | King's Quest (3725) 6 - Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight (8506) | Monkey Island 2 Special Edition (376) 7 - Primal (4837) 8 - Chronovolt (1728) ? 9 - Nightmares From the Deep 1 (5139)

Popular Post Geridian
Hi all. As we all know he have fifteen more days (This day included) for the challenge, so: I hope you all can keep the show rolling! Time for my third update, featuring a game I struggled with for years.. but finally: Training helps which I began some weeks ago only for this game! 3 - 2783 - Velocity 2X [PS4/PSVITA] When I saw this game as part of the PS+ games some years ago I just thought: "Hey, this looks like Metroid, maybe it is fun. Install and play it".. How wrong I was that day! Okay, it is fun and has a very good soundtrack, BUT.. some of the platforming levels like Level 47. Pure horror.. and also the only level I needed a lot of training for. The "Double Spaceship levels" where a LOT easier for me then f%c$i§g Level 47. All other of those levels I where able to learn fast, but not that one. But: Finally it is done.. and atm I do not know if I will buy the DLC packs. We will see. Just glad that I do not need them for this challenge. 8 - 1688 - Zone of the Enders HD Edition [PS3] This game was pure fun and I enjoyed it a lot. Even the five rescue missions where enjoyable (the last two are easy, but the first three need a bit practice but are doable). The pacing of the action was good, nothing in the game was complicated to understand. The story was Anime standard and I liked the HD opening music, the main menu music and the credits music a lot. And because I was so much enjoying this game I will play Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner HD Edition [PS3] as another game for this challenge. I would also play Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner M∀RS [PS4] for this challenge, but since this is a number 5 game I would not have any benefit of it. The other games written in black letters are either started or not started but will be played for this challenge. Playing Grow Up [PS4] for this years GBN challenge is funny because I played the predecessor "Grow Home" for last years GBN challenge. And also had a lot of fun playing it. 1 - 5941 - Vikings: Wolves of Midgard [PS4] [LINK] 2 - 1142 - Back to the Future [PS3] [DISC] [LINK] 3 - 2783 - Velocity 2X [PS/PSVITA] [LINK] 4 - 3724 - Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment [PS4] [LINK] 5 - 2785 - Risen 3: Titan Lords [PS3] [LINK] 6 - 7296 - Moss [PS4] [PSVR] [EU] [LINK] or 6646 - Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA [PS4] [EU] [LINK] 7 - 3767 - Everybody's Gone To The Rapture [PS4] [LINK] 8 - 1688 - Zone of the Enders HD Edition [PS3] [LINK] 9 - 1689 - Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner HD Edition [PS3] [LINK] 0 - 5170 - Grow Up [PS4] [LINK] Until my next update. Popular Post gruffiiti
Its a bit odd as I feel like I wasted a whole bunch of time getting these two LEGO games completed yet at the same time it feels like Ive accomplished something. I forgot just how much fetch grind these games throw at you and am happy to have them both completed. Likely I will add more LEGO games to my profile as I do enjoy them but not for a good while.. Completed a few other games recently but most ended up having a number that was already used so the only other game I can add at this point would be GRIS. The game was beautiful and really designed well. The main issue I had with it was the music was so chill and the gameplay was relaxed. This 5-6 hour game (without guide) ended up taking me 4 nights to complete as I kept falling asleep. I wouldn't call it boring but I now know what Im putting on if I ever have problems sleeping. 1 - Firewatch ? 2 - LEGO The Hobbit 3 - 4 - LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens 5 - Journey ? 6 - GRIS 7 - 8 - 9 - 0 - AC: Odyssey

Only a recommendation: If you can just avoid LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. This game has the most boring grind of all LEGO games I ever played. Played this game for last years GBN and I was bored to death. The amount of gold bricks is just abysmal. Maybe this is also the reason why I avoid playing LEGO Super Villains because it is based on LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2`s engine. So I think that it also has the same abysmal count of gold bricks. I have played LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (first one) before and hated the races so was likely going to skip Marvel Super Heroes 2. Both The Hobbit and Star Wars had crazy amounts of bricks to collect as well. The Hobbit had to through in materials to collect on top of that which added another layer of annoyance. Star Wars kept me more entertained at least and the grind didnt feel nearly as much of a battle.

Wish you all the best for this event! I just finished the first LEGO Marvel Super Heroes and it was overall pretty boring to grind out everything. Part of the problem was that there was no real point to try collecting anything until you have beaten the story, as you'll be missing abilities that allow you to get collectibles. You then end up rushing through the story mode for like 10 hours, then just collecting stuff for 30 hours at the end. You can pick up a few things here or there after you unlock new abilities, but don't go back to the levels again until you have all the abilities/mini figs required. I usually liked trying to split the time between collecting and going through the story in games. Does anyone know if the LEGO Avengers game is just as bad? I got the LEGO Marvel games in a 3 pack. I got the LEGO Marvel games in a 3 pack. Me and my girlfriend played and did 100% complete this game and all DLCs in 2016. We had fun with it and the grind was okay because you have more then one HUB world to collect your stuff. This game is divided in smaller HUB Worlds with an okay amount of collectibles. We did collect things from the HUB worlds only after the main story was finished (Imo this is always the best strategy because if you try to collect the collectibles when you lack some abilities you will only visit the same place more times then needed. Only do this for things like "Red Bricks" in LEGO games). For the races on the ground you do not need a car, just use Quicksilver (since he is a speedster). Also some of the story missions had funny elements. We were definitively not bored while we played that game. ==> But if anybody wants a recommendation for a LEGO game: Choose "LEGO Jurassic World" for the PS4. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Also as I wrote yesterday I will play Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner HD Edition [PS3] for number 9. I began playing it yesterday and had only 1 hour time to play, but.. it is amazing!!!!! It has everything that I liked in the first game and has also more of those things I liked: More anime material, anime style cut-ins into the HUD when something special happens, better gameplay, more "Frame Runners" (Frame = Mecha).. I do not know.. it is just well made. Maybe this is the game that the first part should have been. Perhaps Kojima was ordered by Konami to complete the first part and had more time to finish part two? Also the ZoE games are the first Kojima games I played, maybe I will give the others a chance. Never played a MGS game before and have Death Stranding sitting in the backlog. I think I should change this asap.
