StressEater Posted July 8, 2020 Share Posted July 8, 2020 I was able to trigger the trophy on June 29th by using the method of; save during a protest, break it up, reload. I bribed them. I felt that it was just easier that way. This is the method a friend of mine told me to use and it worked for me; Start a sandbox game. Gave yourself unlimited money. Put the population to 200. Once the game starts, change the Military over to Pacifist State. Built a couple churches and a couple bar's right next to the palace. Also max out the pay for the palace and hired some more guards (just to be safe). Then just wait a few months until they started to protest. Then saved, bribed them, wait a second, and then reloaded. I hope this helps. At first I did a similar way to you. I did the save and reload method more than 50 times I know this because I counted, Still know trophy. Then I tried by doing it naturally which involves making the environmentalist angry. I had like about 30 steel mills and like 10 protest at the same. That happened about 7 times and I still didn't get the trophy. I think I have stopped around about 120 protest and no trophy has popped I don't if I done anything wrong followed other guides online and I'm doing exactly what their doing. This is the last trophy I need for the platinum. I spend around at least 8 hours trying to get this trophy. This is by far the worst trophy in this game for me. I found the mission referendum much less annoying. They should at least put in a counter/tracker that way I know if my attempts are counting. Hopefully with the PS5 they do. There should always be some sort of tracking system for anything trophy related for all games. I was looking around online and I am not finding anyone with the same issue. I wonder if you are missing something. There has to be a reason why they are not registering. How are you disbanding the protesters? If you are bribing them then maybe try to break it up by force. Try some other methods and see if that will make a difference. I will keep looking around and see if I can come up with something. I hate for you to loose out on the platinum for this game. I’ve tried all methods I can find and bribed killed plenty of protesters. as it’s the last trophy I’m thinking of trying to reinstall everything and starting from a clean slate.... I’ve already completely deinstalled and reinstalled everything to start from scratch assuming my installation was corrupted. Am I doing something fundamentally wrong? So I have a long row of farms and my environmentalist start demonstrating at over 30 sites. I pause the game and diligently go to every protest and bribe or kill one of the protestors. They then go to the palace to get their reward and the protest breaks up. That’s over 30 protests in two minutes. Save load and repeat. aross76 Posted January 8, 2023 Share Posted January 8, 2023 Just coming here to share a post I found on another site (True Trophies) The easiest way to obtain this trophy is by starting a sandbox game and triggering an ultimatum from the environmentalists. I was able to still have access to the infinite money option (version 1.00) so I placed about 12 coal power plants and then as many mines as I could. The ultimatum came immediately, which I abandoned, and then protests sprung up everywhere. I believe there were about 10 on my map, but more buildings would result in more protests. Save as soon as these protests pop up because then you can keep reloading this save game and clear the protests again. Antiristus Posted April 6 Share Posted April 6 Here's how this trophy popped for me. I definitely ended more than 50 protests in sandbox mode and it didn't pop.
