Thank you for this. I was really shocked about the entire thing, really. He went on to bad-mouth me in another thread, saying I ''freaked out'' because of what he said. I called him out for his complete lies. He then tried to DM me and, when asked to stop messaging me, he ignored my request and continued his little tirade. NO RESPECT. 16 minutes ago, HelixNebula_x said: Nothing wrong with playing Rata games and still enjoying other stuff as well. I actually really enjoy the Ratalaika games a whole lot. I saw you just completed Mekabolt, which is in my backlog. What were your thoughts on it? Do you have a favourite Rata game that you've played so far? 16 minutes ago, HelixNebula_x said: I'd also like to note that most people don't play games for challenge anyway, I play to have something to chill out with when I've finished a long shift at work, and because it's FUN. Seems to be something a lot of people around here can't wrap their heads around. You keep doing you and getting the plats you want, nothing wrong with that! I don't play video games to feel challenged and, ultimately, frustrated. That's the last thing I need when I'm trying to unwind when I get home from work. I really appreciate your support with this and I'll continue to play as many ''1 out of 10 games'' as I fuckin' please. 16 minutes ago, HelixNebula_x said: PS. I have fully 100% Witcher 3 myself, and it isn't really hard at all. Time consuming? Sure. But a 'challenge'? Not really. I own it and it's currently rotting in my backlog, but I will get round to playing it eventually. I heard that Death March mode is a pain in the ass in the earlier stages, but gets a lot easier as you level up. He also said that Fallout 4 was a challenge, but I saw trophy guides that gave it a 3/10 for difficulty to get the platinum, sooooo... I don't mind playing a difficult game every now and again, for example, I always play a CoD Campaign on Veteran to keep them interesting, and I love going for 100%'s on longer RPG's etc. But when I get in from work, and I'm in a trophy mood, you can't beat loading up a plat game and then double teaming the Vita stack as well for a nice endorphin rush. I will never miss a chance to recommend Witcher 3 to anybody, it's my favourite game of all time, and I've easily spent around 400 hours with it across my 2 playthroughs. The hardest part of Death March is the beginning correct, but if you know how to focus your build, the difficulty drops off quickly, I'd probably say around level 5 or so, which can be really, really early in the playthrough if you're having a completionist run. If and when you do start it, feel free to message me or add me on PSN if you want any tips/advice regarding a good character build or missable gwent cards etc. In regards Fallout 4, it's not one I've platted yet, but I'm pretty sure the 'hardest' trophy is reaching max happiness in a settlement, and that's only hard because of it being mind numbingly boring, and settlement building being a terrible addition to the series. Other than that, strategic saves will net you the majority of the trophies without having to start a new run, and everything else is just about time invested over anything else. If anything I think that's what Spaz seems to see as a 'challenge', time investment to get the trophies. Weird way of looking at it, since Ghost of Tsushima took me about 40-50 hours and I would rate that somewhere around a 2/3 out of 10 in terms of plat difficulty.

What's even funnier was that he was trying to mansplain what an action RPG is and, in doing so, managed to disprove that Diablo III and Fallout 4 are RPGs with his definition. I'm more than happy to engage in a debate, but you can't fix stupid. It's not worth arguing with people like that, which is why I asked him to leave. Good riddance. 24 minutes ago, HelixNebula_x said: I quite enjoyed Mekabolt for what it's worth. It doesn't overstay it's welcome thankfully. I'm probably going to be playing Mekabolt soon - maybe later today or tomorrow. I've just finished work for the day, so deciding how to spend my evening. I'm yet to play Devious Dungeon, but I have the platinums for Fullblast and Gravity Duck. I loved Fullblast. I also really enjoyed My Big Sister, Just Ignore Them and Red Bow. Gravity Duck was great, but I think I preferred Hoogy 2. Basically the same mechanics, I think I preferred the aesthetic of Hoogy 2 more, I guess. 24 minutes ago, HelixNebula_x said: I can really empathise with this. I relate to this so hard. I love playing quick wins on my PS4 and then switching to my Vita to do it again. You're right, it's a total endorphin rush when you see those plats popping. I love playing Assassin's Creed games, as you can probably tell based off my previous conversations, so I also enjoy sitting down over a few weeks and having an adventure. I just can't do it all the time. I need to break it up, or I just get burnt out. 24 minutes ago, HelixNebula_x said: If and when you do start it, feel free to message me or add me on PSN if you want any tips/advice regarding a good character build or missable gwent cards etc. I will definitely take you up on this offer. I love making new friends and I appreciate you being kind to me. 24 minutes ago, HelixNebula_x said: In regards Fallout 4, it's not one I've platted yet, but I'm pretty sure the 'hardest' trophy is reaching max happiness in a settlement, and that's only hard because of it being mind numbingly boring, and settlement building being a terrible addition to the series. Basing the difficulty of the platinum by how long the game takes makes no sense to me? I spent 120+ hours on Assassin's Creed Odyssey and the platinum was definitely a 2/3 out of 10 to obtain, especially compared to Origins. I'm currently playing Dead Island: Definitive Edition and the difficulty has been rated 5/10 on the trophy guides. I can vouch for this, especially if playing solo. I've been playing co-op with a gaming buddy, which makes it a little easier but some of the miscellaneous trophies are a ball-ache to get and rely on you doing them. I am definitely interested in playing Ghost of Tsushima. Just waiting for the price to come down a bit before I buy a copy. Desmuria
NEW COMPLETED GAMES #326 - Apocalipsis: The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil End of the World Unlock all Trophies #327 & #328 - Epic Word Search Collection 2 Considerably Large Collect all the trophies #329 & #330 - Mekabolt Platinum Mekabolt Get all other trophies #331 - Road Bustle Platinum deliveryman Open all trophies. THOUGHTS I managed to knock some games off my backlog, especially some of the stackable Vita ones. I'm really happy I finally sat down and completed Mekabolt. It was actually pretty fun to play and I didn't mind playing it twice. The Epic Word Search Collection 2 was pretty much a carbon copy of the original. It's tedious, if anything. Apocalipsis: The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is a glitchy, horrible, buggy, mess of a game and I don't recommend it. I saw Road Bustle in the store for 79p and I couldn't resist, so don't judge me too harshly. (Especially when I fully admit that I used the exploit to get the platinum in under 5 minutes). ANYWAY... UPDATE Seriously happy with my progress this week, especially when it comes to Dead Island: BASE GAME 96% complete (47/49 trophies) 0 • 1 • 10 • 36 DLC Bloodbath Arena 69% complete (6/10 trophies) 0 • 3 • 3 I only have ONE MORE TROPHY to get and I've got the platinum for it. I just have to grind my ass off to get to level 50 and that's it. Very proud of myself. Some of the trophies for the DLC are bugged, so I don't think I'll bother too much about getting the 100% completion. I'll be continuing to grind for XP after work next week and hope to get this done by next weekend. If anyone knows how to boost XP on Dead Island, hit me up. Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Desmuria
NEW COMPLETED GAMES #332 - Roommates Platinum Roommates Get all other trophies. UPDATE I haven't been as active as I would've liked over the past week. It's been mostly due to being exceptionally busy at work and simply not having the energy or brain capacity to game. I figured I'd play something mind-numbingly easy on Sunday, see above. My God, that VN was boring as heck. I hope to step up my game this week and actually clear some more of my backlog. I want to get some more of the PS Vita stacks gone, so that'll be my top priority once again. HELP NEEDED As you can see from my previous post, I'm literally on the cusp of platting Dead Island. I've tried to entice people to help me with Boosting Sessions on the website, to no avail. If anyone has a high level character on Dead Island who won't mind boosting me for a couple of hours, I'd be grateful. I have a level 46 Xian Mei character, so I'm literally so close to getting to level 50. Hope you all had another smashing weekend. Let's see what this week brings. Happy gaming. Desmuria
NEW COMPLETED GAMES #333 - Dead Island: Definitive Edition The Whole World Went Away Collect all other trophies. THOUGHTS Finallyyyyy! My God, this game has been an absolute slog and I honestly couldn't have done it without my gaming buddy. Without a doubt, this game is probably unbearable after a while in solo mode. Being able to play co-op and actually laugh at how janky and broken everything is just made the experience better for me. Trophy-wise, it's all very tedious and long-winded, especially having to play Act 1 with all four characters. The DLC was where I gained most of my experience to get to level 50 and to farm the 250 kills with guns. I'm not going to go for 100% because the 'Fancy' trophy is broken as fuck and I'm never using analog controls again. So happy to finally have this one done and dusted. Desmuria
NEW COMPLETED GAMES #334 - Arcade Spirits Arcade Legend Collect all the trophies. #335 - The Secret Order: Return to the Buried Kingdom Platinum Unlock every Trophy. #336 - Sushi Break Sushi Break master Collected all the trophies in the game. #337 & #338 - Swordbreaker Swordbreaker The Game Platinum Good job! Completed all tasks! THOUGHTS Arcade Spirits was an enjoyable visual novel, but got very repetitive super fast. It's a lot better than Roommates, at least. The Secret Order was a long overdue release from Artifex Mundi and I loved it. I'm probably biased because I adore their games. Sushi Break is a cute game similar to BRIKS. There are a few trophies that require some luck with regard to power-up drops. Swordbreaker is a super easy visual novel where you have to choose between 1 or 2 (sometimes 3, 4 and 5) on different screens. UPDATE It's been a while since I posted in here and I've managed to play a few games even though I've been super busy with work. Once again, I've completely failed to knock any trophies off my backlog because new shinies have been released in the store and I can't resist. I'm getting close to my 350th platinum and I've chosen Ghost of Tsushima for my milestone. Once I earn a few more platinums, I'll be making a start and I'm super excited to play Ghost of Tsushima. Hope you're all having a good week.
Desmuria
NEW COMPLETED GAMES #339 - Donut Break Donut Break master Collected all the trophies in the game. #340 - Sushi Break Head to Head Sushi Break master Collected all the trophies in the game. #341 - Birthday of Midnight Platinum Midnight Get all other trophies. #342 - Feather Thanks for Playing Thank you for taking the time to play Feather #343 - Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments Perfectionist Collect all possible in-game trophies. #344 - Halloween Candy Break Halloween Candy Break master Collected all the trophies in the game. THOUGHTS There's not really a whole lot I can say about Donut Break, Sushi Break Head to Head or Halloween Candy Break. They're all the same game and same trophy list as Sushi Break (see previous post), just a different skin. Feather was a really cute and easy flying simulator, kinda similar to Aer but a hella lot easier. It was great to see another Midnight game in the store and I found Birthday of Midnight a lot easier than its predecessors. It was an absolute pleasure to finally get Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments (RR) on sale. I played the OR of the game, so I was so excited to replay the RR and get the platinum stack. I love these types of games and it was fun to do all the cases again. I think I still prefer The Devil's Daughter, though. I would love for The Testament of Sherlock Holmes to be remastered for PS4/PS5. UPDATE I am getting ever closer to that 350 platinum milestone. I'm going to make a start on Ghost of Tsushima very soon and play a few casual "quick wins" between gameplay. Once again, nothing from my backlog has been completed and I'm really disappointed with myself. Hopefully, after my milestone, I can really start to knuckle down and make a fresh start on my backlog. Hope you're all having a lovely weekend.
Desmuria
NEW COMPLETED GAMES #345 - Cinders Happily Ever After Gather all other Cinders trophies #346 - Reflection of Mine Platinum Reflection Get all other trophies. #347 - The Language of Love Love Platinum Get all other trophies. #348 - Lord of the Click Under my thumb Сollect all trophies #349 - The House in Fata Morgana Fata Morgana Earned all trophies. THOUGHTS Cinders was a really enjoyable visual novel, loosely based on the Cinderella story. If you like fairytales and/or visual novels, give this one a read. I loved it. Reflection of Mine was god awful and, without a guide, insanely hard to complete. The Language of Love, another VN, was very similar to A Winter's Daydream. You don't have to make any choices, just read. Lord of the Click was totally boring (and requires 7,777 clicks to get the platinum). It's painful, definitely not worth it. I actually got a digital copy of The House in Fata Morgana for free off an extremely kind owner of a company. I'd been dying to play it for a while now and i wasn't disappointed. The art style is awesome and the story is suitably eerie. UPDATE Welp, I've been utterly rubbish and haven't updated this in a while. Here to make amends and to finally announce that I'm almost at my 350 platinum milestone. I have now started to play Ghost of Tsushima and I LOVE IT. BASE GAME 7% complete (5/52 trophies) 0 • 0 • 0 • 5 As you can see, I'm not very far into it right now - but I plan to dedicate my free time to it as much as possible. Assassin's Creed Valhalla comes out on 10 November and I have the Gold Edition on preorder. I want to make sure I have a bulk of Ghost of Tsushima complete before I sink my teeth into another epic AC adventure. If everything works out right, I hope to make Assassin's Creed Valhalla platinum #400. VERY EXCITING TIMES. Hope you're all safe and well in these dire times. Desmuria
NEW COMPLETED GAMES #350 - Ghost of Tsushima Living Legend Obtain all trophies. #351 - Theme Park Simulator 100% Platinum #352 - Vera Blanc: Full Moon Platinum Vera Get all other trophies. THOUGHTS I have a whole bunch to say about Ghost of Tsushima and I'll probably leave a more indepth review when I post in the Most Recent Platinum thread. I'll pop a link here when I've made that post, in a case you're interested in reading it. Long story short: I LOVED Ghost of Tsushima. The combat was fluid, the story was heartbreaking and incredibly moving. If you like the new RPG style Assassin's Creed games, you'll love this game as much as I did. Over the past three weeks, I've been accumulating a bunch of new games to platinum after I hit my 350 milestone. Theme Park Simulator is a pile of shit and seems utterly pointless. There's no actual gameplay, you just turn the rides on and off. I love visual novels, so Vera Blanc was a must for me. Enjoyable and the minigames were fun and not too difficult. UPDATE So, now I've finished Ghost of Tsushima, I'm going to continue to try and decrease my dreaded backlog. I do have a few more new-ish games that I'm going to knock out the park too. My Name is Mayo 2 is one of them. You can judge me all you like. I don't care. I received Assassin's Creed Valhalla Gold Edition in the post on release day. I've played a little bit of it and I'm not exactly enamoured with it yet, but I hope to sink some hours into it and make it platinum #400. Hope you're all safe and well. Enjoy the rest of your week. Desmuria
NEW COMPLETED GAMES #353 - My Name is Mayo 2 My Name is Mayo - The Second! High Cholesterol, High Reward. #354 - Dark Sauce Well Done! Unlock all trophies #355 - Prehistoric Dude Platinum Dude Get all other trophies. #356 - Snake Boat: Otteriffic Arcade Platinum Snake Boat Achieve all other trophies! You're a master at rowing a boat for five minutes at a time! (I better see this trophy up on your shelf or cabinet.) #357 - Donut Break Head to Head Donut Break master Collected all the trophies in the game. #358 - Christmas Break Head to Head Christmas Break master Collected all the trophies in the game. #359 - More Dark Platinum Demon Get all other trophies. #360 - Family Mysteries 2: Echoes of Tomorrow Platinum Unlock every Trophy. THOUGHTS I actually remembered to post in the Most Recent Platinum thread this time, so my thoughts are here. I know some of you may judge me for having My Name is Mayo 2 on my trophy list and I really don't care. I actually really enjoyed playing the game, including the little minigames they included this time. Snake Boat is trying too hard to become the next My Name is Mayo and it's so obvious. It's actually rather cringey. Theme Park Simulator is hot garbage and I wish I'd never spent that amount of money on it (and it was on sale!) Everything else I played was fairly decent, especially the Donut/Christmas Break Head to Heads. I love those games. Excited to see which Artifex Mundi game gets announced for this month. I hope it's a Christmas themed game. I know they have a game called Yuletide Legends: Who Framed Santa Claus. That'd be super festive and fun to play! UPDATE I was hoping to have made some progress with Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but sadly v1.04 prevents people from manually saving, apparently. I'm not prepared to take the risk of the game not saving my progress, so I'll sit tight and wait for another patch. I am going to knock out some more games this week (hopefully) and I want to concentrate on the PS4/PS Vita stacks. Hope you all have a lovely week ahead. Stay safe, wash your hands, don't touch your face, all that jazz.
