Popular Post Sword
Friends, Wasn't going to make yet another post so quickly, but honestly I'm constantly amazed how nice this community can be if you come in contact with the right people. I'm blown away with all the well-wishes and such, despite the situation I posted on the last page of this thread. My goodness you guys are awesome and from the bottom of my heart I'm thankful for it! Anyway, the other reason I wanted to make this was to share my absolute joy in obtaining something last night... TL;DR: I only obtained 1 trophy for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (beating the hardest dungeon in the game) but it's the reward from that dungeon I wanted to share... the Black Knight Skin! Full Story Behind this character skin: The first time I played Crystal Chronicles was on the Gamecube nearly 12 years ago. As a kid I ALWAYS wanted to be the Black Knight, but unfortunately in the original Crystal Chronicles game you didn't have very many options to choose from when deciding the look of your character beyond the base skins the game gives you. In the remaster however, they added this "mimic" system where you can earn different crystals representing characters memories which allow you to mimic the look of different characters from the game. Sure enough, Black Knight was one of them... AND one of the hardest to earn: requiring you to beat the game first (to unlock the hard mode post game dungeons), AND you had to beat the hardest post-game dungeon to unlock him. His character design, model and voice actor is S tier in this game. In fact it's objectively one of the best skins in the game (even the community agrees). Let me tell you, all the pain I went through to obtain it was worth it the moment I got to see it for the first time and swing my lance around. I usually play dungeons only with my sister but this specific dungeon would have made her tear her hair out. It's difficult, extremely annoying and LONG. It took me over 2 hours to beat it... though maybe that's because of my impatience, I decided to tackle the dungeon with sub-optimal gear and stats, barely scraping by with what I had. But I did it! I did it! I couldn't contain myself and I immediately jumped into a multiplayer dungeon match. The attention the skin gets is insane and I feel AWESOME having gone all the way to the end of the game to earn it. For the rest of the time I play Crystal Chronicles, I don't care how it plays out. I got the skin I've wanted for over 12 years since I first touched this game and I am satisfied beyond belief! My character may not have gotten any stronger but the grin on my face certainly has! Color Code: Red = Game not started. Green = Game is in progress. Blue = Game completed to 100% + DLC. ☐ Unravel (PS4) 2% ☐ Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition (PS4) 0% ☐ Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition (PS4) 57% >66% (7/9 trophies) ☐ Asdivine Dios (PS4) 0% ☐ Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen (PS4) 0% ☐ Genshin Impact (PS4) 0% Edited September 17, 2020 by Sword
Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
I've changed my mind and if sign ups are still open I'd like to join @MidnightDragon RL sucks atm and it's nothing that's just going to vanish soon, BUT that shouldn't be a reason to cut out a thing I can enjoy and share with others. I've met some of the most awesome people around here (it's been a year full of coop trophies for the @Fnee2000 & Jay party) and I'd like to meet even more! Here's my list: Beyond Two Souls / PS4 (0%) GreedFall / PS4 (0%) Mad Max / PS4 (0%) Dying Light / PS4 (17%) And the game I've been using for Sony's Summer of Play challenges so far: Heavy Rain / PS4 (7%) I'm still determined to get this profile up to 90% completion by the end of the year!

Popular Post Wild-Arms-R
Log 010: Obtained my 1st platinum for the challenge, " Completionist" for Doom(93)100%? Powered tru Ep.3 M5-M8 before work today. Finish it in like 30mins. M7 gave me slight trouble, but nothing dying a bit and learning the stage cant help. I personally destoryed M8 tho, K knocked that Spider Master Mind down a peg. Doom while slightly dated, is still a abouslute joy to play. Just cus its such a pure fast paced fps. Its a product of its time, but thats sorta its charm. Its simple to just pick up and play, run around due to how smooth the movement actully is. Along with fnding hidden secrets. Thow killng Demons in too and got yourself some good ol' retro style fun. And its got some legit bangers(soundtrack) to go along with that blood and gore. Overall Im highly impressed with how well its level design has held up as a whole and it almost feels like a modern indy title with how high Doom shows off at times. Doom isnt too bad of a game, but its not what Id call a advenge game to max out. It requires you to put in the time learn each level for your Nightmare playtru. You dont need to be a og Doom god or anything. But most levels you wont get be clearing by brute force alone. Every other trophy is easy tho, even the 2hr speed run. Its just Nightmare that asked you to be able to look up speed runs and replucate them to at least a passible degree. Still you cant be a scub, cus timing in Doom nightmare is hella key. End Log. So we got 1 game down, 11 more to go. 1.Doom(93)[Done] 2.Ulimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 * 3.Days Gone 4.Dead Nation 5.Darksiders 2 DE 6.Crash Banicoot Nitro Fuled 7.Spyro Year of the Dragon 8.Yakuza 0 9.Catrine Full Body* 10.Trails of Cold Steel II 11.Streets of Rage 4 12.Brith by Sleep Final Mix *I may honestly Swap UMVC3 for MvC Infinte. Just due to the latter being more active. Dont really feel like boosting all the way to 6th Rank. Ranther just get good and obtain the online Rank stuff Legit...plus it looks alot more fun to me. I hope that dosnt make me sound like a srucb, I know U.MVC3 is a harder plat, its just Im not feeling the fromer tbh. Still I do what to play a fighter as my next game in this challenge. *Once I hit 99platinums, I plan to make Catrine Full Body my 100th Plat. Thats all for now Yall, peace✌ Edited September 18, 2020 by Wild-Arms-R
Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
My Friday update, great to read all others updates throughout the week. We are making some real good progress! This week I had less time than I thought t would have. Nevertheless, I made some good progress again Hitman 2: Started the Mumbai DLC , but messed up a couple of runs. Still not playing with a guide and I need to figure out how to kill two targets with one train ? Far Cry New Dawn: I almost have finished the story, after that some trophy cleaning. Game is nice but it has it's flaws. Driving is like always a bitch, controls are sometimes off; hard when you want to do a silent take-down and you miss. And it seems that some enemies see right through walls. Happy that I got the only online trophy out of the way, so I want to finish this game really this upcoming week. Current status: Hardware update! After selling both my Vita's and about 150 hard copy games last year, I bought again a PSVita ?. I do want to finish some games and will add a couple to this challenge later on. and...tadadadadadadada: I managed to pre-order the PS5! Happy about that. Keep up the trophy hunting!

Popular Post Alternatewarning
Fall/Winter Challenge Update #3 Yet again I ended up working on a different game. But I also wanted to increase my completion rate so Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone is now done~ I decided to pick up Death Mark again since I enjoyed the game but set it down a while ago. Still have the same qualms with it than I did before but it's still nice and creepy. Shiver. The audio in this game is really killer, in a good way. I wrote my review of the platinum on my trophy checklist. Other than that not much has changed. Still working on Cold Steel II but haven't really made any trophy progress except one. I should get a whole lot of those done soon. I think I might be working on FFXV DLC this weekend but this week I'll be back to Cold Steel II. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II (21% > 64%) Amnesia Later×Crowd (10% > 15%) Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk Chaos;Child Death Mark (17% > 100%) Amnesia World Code: Realize - Future Blessings Code: Realize - Wintertide Miracles

Know that feeling all too well since I'm playing a Trails game as well, it's even worse on the second run since you'll get few trophies until the end of the game. When you get through the finale, feel free to post spoilery opinions (in a spoiler tag of course) on how it made you feel because I love hearing people's opinions about stuff like that even though I played the game years ago. At least you're lucky and can go play III and by the time you're done with both, IV will definitely be out and you can enjoy the ending to it all. And may as well add an update since I made some decent progress: 1. Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki (80%) 46 out of 53 trophies 2. Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV (releases 10/27 in NA) 0 out of 53 trophies 3. Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes (52%) 37 out of 55 trophies 4. Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny (11%) 8 out of 38 trophies 5. Marenian Tavern Story (0%) 0 out of 50 trophies 6. Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk (0%) 0 out of 58 trophies 64 out of 280 trophies earned. 0 out of 6 games completed 1/5 swaps Finally wrapped up my nightmare run in Hajimari no Kiseki and totally accomplished missing one stupid treasure chest and need to do another run now. I also missed some battle notes, but that was in chapter 2 and would have taken less time to get if that was all I missed Still have way too far to go on the get all master quartzes to level 15 trophy though, but supposedly the update the game is getting on October 1st will make that more doable since it will be adding stronger enemies and increasing level caps. I was able to net the trophy for filling the recipe notebook and fishing notebook though. But holy crap, nightmare was hard in this game. I got my butt kicked on some of those bosses in the final dungeon and just barely beat the final boss. As in, I had one party member left for part of it, was out of healing items and EP and was going to go down in one more hit if I hadn't killed that part. The last phase was a close call as well, but I did it! So at least I can do that third run on very easy. Not much progress in Sengoku Basara, mostly just wrapped up the needed playthroughs for Ieyasu which gets me up to 21 playthroughs completed. Only 40+ left to go along with grinding to max level for everyone for the plat. No problem, this totally won't take forever. Popular Post Wild-Arms-R
Just a quick update on my current games for the challenge. Ive chose to swap out two of them. 1.Doom(93)[Done] 2.Ulimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 replaced for Marvel vs Capcom Infinte* 3.Days Gone 4.Dead Nation AE 5.Darksiders 2 DE 6.Crash Banicoot Nitro Fuled 7.Spyro Year of the Dragon replaced for Devil May Cry 2* 8.Yakuza 0 9.Cathine Full Body 10.Trails of Cold Steel II 11.Streets of Rage 4 12.Brith By Sleep Final Mix *I really went back and forth on whatever I should do UMvC3 or MvCI for my next game. And Ultimtely feel MvC1(while a easier game overall to plat) would be much more active and fun. I most likely wont have to boost the online Ranks and being a huge Mega Man fan(epically the X series) I really want to see how X plays in it. Btw, I found a copy of MvCI for 25$ at gamestoo today, it was a steelbook copy too. Being a game collectoer, I was pretty stoked. So maybe Im really nent to be playing Marvel vs Capcom Infinte next afterall. lol *For Devil May Cry 2, I just want to get the game over and done with so I can go play DMC3SE later next year. Ive been missing it for way to long, and would just feel weird too skip a game in a series when Ive already max out the other 4games. No Log tonight also, was playing more Monster Hunter with gf, but tommrow Ill probbly start MvCI. Sorry for the unessury long post guys. Peace out for now✌ Edited September 19, 2020 by Wild-Arms-R

Actually a fun fact is that the treasure I missed in my second run is in roughly the same location as the most commonly missed chest in 3. See the nice thing about playing it in English is that by the time it's localized, there will be guides for everything just like there already are for CS4.

The last 2 chapters in ToCSI are such a huge difficulty spike(if your doing Nightmare on your 1st run) I was amazed how much of moster C and the final Boss were. Final Boss Nightmare is legit just you spaming S Breaks. lol Also if you end up going for platinum on your 2nd playtru, remember you need to do at least 40quests(Main, sub or hidden) in total to obatin "Metal of Compassion from the Old Doctor Lady. Even if you have all 3 from your 1st playtru, you gotta collect all 3 metals again to have the Headmaster reward you with the other Master Quatz. I didnt do the 40 quests and had to revert back to a old save. Sucked big time, but Cold Steels awesome, worth it to have the plat. That and scanning enemies was always a little bit stressful.

That and scanning enemies was always a little bit stressful. Yeah, Xanadu was pretty friendly about chests and monsters and S ranking dungeons. Nightmare was tricky, but that plat was pretty fair overall. Though actually Hajimari added some stuff to the monster book that was very helpful! Once you visit a section all entries are added in. Any enemies you haven't met are marked as ????. Enemies you have met and have scanned are marked with a green check. Enemies you haven't scanned have no check. That made it so much easier to find missed scans since you didn't have to check each area and count the entries and look through each to make sure you had them all and nothing was missing. So it's more like the recipe book where you can see at a glance what is completed and what isn't. So glad they finally improved upon that because it's especially hard to find missed entries in Japanese because I'm usually google translating a Japanese guide. @Wild-Arms-R - I think you quoted the wrong person because I platted CS2 years ago. Boy did you confuse me for a moment saying C was hard because Hajimari has someone referred to as C too and I was thinking "fighting him was nothing compared to the final boss" And spoilers for who Hajimari C is in the box here. Spoiler My confusion was funnier because in Hajimari C is Rufus and there is a fake Rufus that you fight in the final chapter and that was a VERY hard battle that made Crow and Vita's battle in CS2 look like a joke, especially with how easy it is to cheese the mechanics in CS2 to one shot Vita even in nightmare with one hit of Laura's S-craft.

I absolutely adored the game it's beautiful and really embraces the feeling of being in a Kurosawa samurai movie from the scenery to the story itself and the swordplay that when fully upgraded and learned just feels like your the untouchable samurai. I also have to admit that after certain events in chapter two I actually needed to take a break before going back in and seeing this story's ending. Also gonna be adding Oninaki to my list since I want my next trophy milestone to be a platinum. Popular Post StilRh
Weekend update: Been quite productive this week! Only cleared Enigmatis (so-so game, I liked the hidden object puzzles and deduction board but otherwise fell a bit flat on me) but bumped a few games 10-20%. I had one bad night with Kotodama, I lost a match on purpose for a trophy and lost several hours worth of progress (I didn't think it would give a game over). My 200 plat milestone is up, I think I will have 13 Sentinels occupy this as I love Vanillaware games and I've been waiting on this game for a good year. Popular Post neospoon
Update #1 The Hong Kong Massacre 10/20 - 24% -> 30% God of War 12/37 - 11% -> 17% Until Dawn - 4/19 - 14% Doom 17/55 - 21% The Last of Us Part II 2/28 - 2% God of War (17% 12/37) After first playing God of War on PS4 last year, I couldn’t really get into the story. One year ahead and here I am absolutely loving every part of it so far. I guess there’s a right time and place for any game to be played. Right now I’m at the start of chapter 10. I’m not in a rush so the goal for tomorrow is to at least finish chapter 13 and backtrack to get some of the collectibles I’ve missed. I assume most of you have already played this so I won’t go into too much detail and I don’t want to give out spoilers for the people that haven’t played it yet. The Hong Kong Massacre (30% 10/20) Whenever I don’t have the time to play for a couple of hours, I need something short, quick and fun to play, preferably something without a very detailed story. The Hong Kong Massacre is exactly that. Twin Stick mechanics with pretty cool looking graphics and gameplay that reminds me of Hotline Miami. Except it’s in the style of a classic John Woo action movie. The levels are short but the challenges keep me busy. Trying to get through the levels without missing a shot or under a target time can sometimes be pretty challenging. I don’t think I’ll make fast progress through this one... I hope this challenge can push me to 200 platinums before the end of the year. Happy Hunting everyone! I still have dreams about the courtroom scene. Part of me hopes we don't get another one in whatever the next Wolfenstein game is, but part of me also kinda wants it. 1st off, super good job man, thats increadible plat too have.? 2nd, Ipersonally found it going tru a whole game on the highest setting with only one life vert thilring. But it did make me rage in parts. At the end of the day it all comes down ti just well..dying, dying, and dying some moee atill you memorize the whole game. I legit, no lie died 4times on the final level, I was so done at that point. But I sucked it up, cus I hate giving up. There is part of me that secertly would do it all over again in a Wolfestin 3 tho....ao maybe we both just love punhiment or something??
Popular Post da_eMTy
Update #3: Week 3 is over and I got some good progress with peggle 2, but some stages are really luck based...I think this will be a part of my challenge till end of the year. I could finish some other short games in my list. Dear Esther: Years after I played it on PC, I was interessted in the Landmark Edition with the Audio Commentary of the Dev Team. Got some interesting facts, but I didnt know they cut out the narrator of the story for the commentary....so this was...weird. But after that I played It another 2 times for the synch trophy and had fun with it. Bear with me: What a wierd and chaotic point and click adventure... Red Bow: Was okay, but the story wasnt as interesting as "Just Ignore Me" and doesnt really catched me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Color Code: Red = Game not started. Popular Post Hiyo_Rain
Uncanny Valley – 0% The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game – 0% Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter – 0% MediEvil – 0% -> 100% Hakuoki Edo Blossoms – 0% Far Cry Classic – 0% -> 47% Ghost of Tsushima – 0% Mr. Massagy – 0% Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition – 0% Update 3! I’ve been slightly distracted doing other things this week, but I do have a little bit to update with! The stealth trophy in Far Cry Classic sucked big time. It took me over half an hour to manage it. I was planning on finishing that game this week but ended up not getting around to it. Hopefully next week though!
