It's the one neospoon linked (I can't figure out how to quote it, too), but basically:

 

-Start mission on Master

-Get killed, while on grey death screen hit Options and change difficulty to Easy

-Don't hit square to respawn, let the game do it.

-Finish the mission without dying again.

 

When you get to the next mission, quit to menu. Then choose it from mission select and start on Master difficulty again. 

 

I had to replay some sections of the longer missions, but you can choose them from the menu directly instead of playing the whole thing over again. Most sections are pretty quick when you're not hunting collectibles.

Log 015:

 

UMvC3-

Havent been playing Marvel as of late, kinda just not feeling doing inputs for a hr n a half everyday tbh.

My plan was to try to finsh 4sets a month(12characters) but with only 2sets done since I started.

You csn see Im far behind my deadline. lol

Still Im enjoying learning the game and seeing how Capcom desgin the characters in combat.

I did clear Captain Amercias missions(1-9)

Skip his 10th mission cus it was sorta dumb.

But I may return to it if I have to.

Next character is Dante, followed by Deadpool.

 

Days Gone-

A few days ago I unlocked my last trophy for beating ng+ on survival 2.

And after clearing the(surpising long) main story.

Ive revooked my opinion of saying the 2nd half is better.

Cus I find the 1st half to better in trems of both story and gameplay seructure.

2nd half had more intresting characters and Decon character arc devopling was sweet.

But the game got way more repetive and those characters they dont really build up or have very good pay off in the end.

 

Plus there is the super lackluster final mission....

Overall, I think Days Gone is good, but not great.

Its full of things you have seen countless times this gen and it only really brings horde battles and and a intresting MC with a nice complte arc to the table.

I started this game on sunday and already finshed my 1st playtru on Grim(hard mode) its short, but man is it sweet.

Fast paced arcade zombie killing action right here.

Time to cross Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered off the list! I knew I was going to enjoy playing through MW again and it really didn't disappoint. I'm also going to use my third swap to put Modern Warfare 2 into my list. I've also been contemplating swapping out something for The Witcher 3: GOTY Edition. I've already platinumed it once, but now that I own it and have access to a second stack, I'm kind of craving it. I said last update I was going to probably knock off Lemmings Touch. Well I haven't picked up my Vita since that update, but all that's left is to knock off the hard levels with 3 stars and all the remaining trophies should ding.

Much belated weekend update. My gaming time continues to be limited due to work needing me a lot at the moment. Managed to start a few new games. Carto is really charming and a nice quick platinum, Medievil should also be relatively quick but I'm playing it in bursts. Trying to think of another game to add to the list - I want something slow, open ended and low pressure. Toying with Minecraft (ofc no multiplayer trophies as I only have bedrock edition) and things in a similar vein at the moment.

It's been about 11 pages since my last update (wops). Been a few crazy weeks and I've actually spent the last four being sick. (Some days I haven't even had the strength to game!). But I am kinda feeling better now, and I've got a few trophies in. I've also been playing a few games outside of this challenge, for example I bought Ni No Kuni-remaster because I 100% loved the first game and just wanted to play it again. I am nearing the end of the trophy hunt on that one now so that's nice.

 

Other than that I finished of Child of Light yesterday, it was a pretty little game and I really enjoyed it. Glad I didn't finish it 3 years ago when I first started it, I don't think I would've enjoyed it as much back then.

Got a bunch of trophies in Plague Inc but I haven't played it in a few weeks now, it will take over the relaxed-game spot from Child of Light so I am hoping for even more progress in it soon!

 

Only a few trophies in Bayonetta, mostly because I really want to play it when I'm not tired. It will be my main focus as soon as I am done with Ni No Kuni I think!

In the end we had to start a Grim Coop run.

It seems you cant play Morbid without both players beat grim 1st.

Witch tbh turned out probbly be for the best cus Grim coop is no joke.

another Friday , another update.

 

Funny how I try to mop up some extra trophies/make some progress before I write my update. Think this challenge is working well for me. Also good to see all the progress everybody is making! Well done!

 

AC Chronicles

Made some good progress, currently in my Golden shadow (not to confuse with shower ?) run. I am in memory sequence 11 of the 12. Need to do a Plus play through after that. Game is on the Vita sometimes pretty difficult as the controls feel e bit off. Sometimes you are seen while your are not seen on the screen, if you get my drift. Anyway, just re-oading checkpoints and doing it better the next time is the way to go. Nice game though!

 

Hitman 2

Started the Himmelstein DLC which is in essence a sniper level. Not sure if I like that a lot! Think Hitman series is great when you need to sneak and find ways of killing unnoticed. Couldn't set me to it so decided to leave that for last and started with the legacy DLC (Hitman 2 includes Hitman 1). Finished Paris , super nice level! great design, great challenges, loads of fun. I am now halfway through the Sapienza DLC. So making some good progress.

Update #2 of 6

 

What's happening everyone? Here we go again with my 2nd update. 

First, I was finally able to finish up MGS V: Phantom Pain. Unfortunately, it took me longer than I was hoping for. However, that is story of my life lol. I've come to the realization that whatever time frame a guide gives me, I need to add 20%-25% more time to it. Anyways, as per my last update, the game is beautiful and the mechanics of it are just perfect. I could not get enough of it. I was just heartbroken and disappointed on the story.

Either way, once I got done with it, I initially thought of doing the Uncharted series and I started with the PS3 Uncharted 1 but then for some reason I just started playing the Tomb Raider and, oh my God, I fucking loved it. 

For Tomb Raider, loved the story, puzzling and collectibles. I felt like they didn't overdo it. The multiplayer tho? That's a different story. There is some grind to it, especially the leveling trophy but overall, it was fairly easy. It was nothing like Far Cry 2. 

Since I liked Tomb Raider that much, I jumped into Rise of the Tomb Raider right away and man, was I in for a treat? Loved all of it. They did went a bit overboard with the collectibles but I did not mind at all. One of the DLCs was incorporated into the base game and I loved it when devs do that. It's just seamless. There was a DLC that just talked about Lara's story and it was incredible. I love games that are heavy on story telling and that was the reason why I did not enjoy MGS V as much.

As I am about to wrap up Rise of the Tomb Raider, I am ready for Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I heard that Rise of the Tomb Raider was the best of the trilogy but I am very happy with these games. It's been awhile since I've enjoyed a series of games this much.

You guys stay killing it because every time I log in, first thing I do is check everyone's progress and it keeps me motivated.

We finsh the last two missions early moring.

Will probbly end up doing the no damage in 1 round of arcade/endless trophy before we part ways.

He was a blast to play with and a beast player.

 

I did do a very brief Endless run to see if I could make it to round 10.

Died at round 5...but it was my falut.

I dont think it should take me long at all, so I'm not worried here.

 

After that just need to find the 9 collectibles in arcade/endless abd grind out 20000 or so zombie kills and Ill be a zombie killing master and have a cool platinum trophy to mount on my wall.

It's been a minute since my last update and I don't have any super noticeable completions to add minus a few of the tougher lists I've been able to grind away at. I'm finally back working and to celebrate my diminished free time I'd gonna add a bunch of games lol. I've been on a big PS2 remaster kick since I started here and most of them are only a $5er on the PS Store so strike while the iron is hot right? Some of these other additions are games I didn't have a physical copy of but had on my list and found for cheap or just games I've been meaning to pick up. Let's get it

 

(I also have the major temptation to add the OG DOOM to the list since I have it and DOOM 2 but does the "Finish Nightmare Mode in Co-Op" trophy work online or do I actually need someone to be on the couch playing locally with me? I don't know anyone willing to take on that task but I'm sure I could find some degenerate gamers on here who would do it if it was online. Let me know if anyone has any experience with this one.)

You can do a Solo "coop" run on Nightmare if you have too.

By that I mean as long as you have 2 working ps4 controllers, do keep in mind that means you are restrcted to half the screen while the other half ls given to your dummy.

 

Ive platinum Doom(93), but I would say "Coop" nightmare isnt like butal hard.

It can be very routgh at the start tho.

Basiclly if you make it past episode 1 it gets a whole lot more manageble.

After that there only a handful of difficult missions.

Hope everyone had a happy Halloween.  So I decided to do my usual weekly update on the Saturday then do my monthly experience separately today; it was mainly because I didn't feel like making a response on the same day and didn't want to combine the two and make what will be a long post even longer. 

 

So before anything else, I want to elaborate on my gaming plan. I have a personal goal that I try to follow - Sunday through Friday I go for two trophies only and Saturday I go for five. I don't try to get more and on the games that I consider as main games - games that I play with these conditions in mind. If for some reason I cannot achieve my daily goal I will do more trophies to make up for it. If for some reason I do too many I will wait until my count is caught up then continue. Then I have side games - games I work on to keep or increase my place on the leaderboards. Usually these are cheap and easy to plat or very long games that take time to finish. Now that all has been said, I have a few games that I played this month.

 

Hidden Through Time - I platted this game early in the month and quite enjoyed playing it. Even had a friend remind her of Where's Waldo from it's gameplay. All I had to do was do 50 of the online maps. It wasn't made easier when the game bugged out by saying that I had cleared all of the online maps when obviously I hadn't. Tried to do the maps that I was certain were not ones I hadn't done and gave good hints to where to find all of the hidden items/animals/people etc. Even found one player who had eleven maps, all with really good hints to where to find things.

 

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope - So I started this when I was stuck away from work for two weeks after my doctor prescribed that I get time off due to stress. Thought it would be easy to plat but I was so wrong. I came into this Backlog Challenge with most of the trophies done and had to grind out a couple of the longest trophies - one for cooking all the dishes, one for harvesting all the crops and one for unlocking all of the encyclopedia entries which included the two above. I had to wait for the seasons to change, plant, water, fertilize and harvest the crops I missed, then wait for the season to change. I had only Spring and Fall crops to make sped things up by selling all my animals and sleeping through the end of Spring and all of Summer, stopping occasionally to clear the rubble from the one field type I needed to use for the few crops I had left to do. But finally platted it. I seriously thought to make this a milestone trophy but decided that I wouldn't. 

 

Lego Batman 3 - I continue to work on this game and have finished the main story. Now I have the cleanup to do. Those who have played a Lego game know what I am talking about. For those who haven't, to plat a Lego game you have to replay all the levels again but use characters you couldn't in the main story and grab anything that you couldn't do the first time around. 

 

WILL: A Wonderful Life - As stated in my update, I have the game almost done but I made one mistake that cost me the plat. It involves getting the bad ending for one character then going for the good ending for a different character. Obviously I didn't do that and now I playing it again. I have started my second playthrough but made little headway just due to other games I play and real life in the way.

 

Spyro Trilogy - I liked the series when I was younger and thought this would be a great series to play. But I regret picking this up because, outside the third game, I won't be able to plat these. The only reason is because I cannot do the worlds which involve flying and collecting/killing 32 things within the time limit which is necessary to plat the game. I will make the effort to get the games as close as I can to 100% but that's it. After this update I'll likely split the three games apart. 

 

Mixups - Working on slowly but steadily. Pretty much only working on it on days I haven't hit my minimum trophy quota. I've played most of the games this company has put out partly because they were cheap, partly because they were package deals (buy for the PS4 and free to download for the Vita and both had different trophy lists) and partly because I like puzzle games. As of today I haven't platted 2 of their games on either system, one being this and the other being a paint in the numbers-like game that takes a considerable amount of time as the pictures get more elaborate. 

 

Anyway that's a wrap for the month. I'll do another one of these at the end of November.

Vampyr (loved the setting, and even the side characters had personality).

 

Root Letter is a thriller mystery vis novel.  Finding out what happened to Aya was gripping.

Update #8: Just a quick update adding a couple of new games I’ve been wanting to play. Since I haven’t had too much free time the past week (workload has increased and Halloween is a whole-week affair in my family), I’ve been playing random games from my backlog, including Letter Quest Remastered. I love it! I’d like to chip away at it while working on some of the more time-consuming games. I’ll also probably make some switches later this month, depending on how good the Black Friday sales are, and if I’m enjoying games from other challenges.

Had a good week, managed to fully clear Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, it was actually really cool and took about 30 hours to platinum. I had a few hours to spare yesterday so I completed Grow Home. I was going to start Grow Up but after playing the first 10 minutes or so I decided trying to play it back to back with Grow Home was a poor choice. I'll leave Grow Up to later in the year I think. (losing all your abilities and going back to walking everywhere was rough haha)

Time to play Nier Automata again. I've been looking forward to this for like 12 months. Good luck everyone!

Managed to get the platinum for Watch Dogs 2, so i'm glad I was able to get that and it the game overall was really fun to play. The goal for me was to just get the platinum for this game but I think I might go and complete the DLC as well since I would like to do some extra missions in the game since I enjoyed it quite a bit. Really love the characters and setting so i'm hoping Watch Dogs Legion has the same kind of vibe that the 2nd one did. 

 

As I was going to do Watch Dogs Legion over the weekend, I decided to continue on Nascar Heat 4 instead. Currently working on the main league in Career mode and then once i'm done with that I should be able to breeze by the rest of the trophies.....hopefully. 

 

So the plans for this week will most likely be Nascar Heat 4 and maybe play Ghosts of Tsushima, Crash Bandicoot, or start up Tony Hawk. Not sure yet, but also might just play the Watch Dogs 2 DLC as well.

Update 9 - 11/1/2020

 

Avengers 70%  11/1/2020

Sekiro 4% 7%

 

Just finished up Avengers before posting this. Feels weird to finally be done. I played it every day for 2 months, and then spent most of the weekend grinding out the last few trophies. I enjoyed the game despite its issues, but I'm ready to put it down for now.

 

I also started Sekiro again and made a little progress. The combat is clicking more for me this time. I'm still struggling with dodging / countering some perilous attacks, but I'm slowly getting better. The early mini bosses only took me a couple tries each, but the ninja guarding the Mist Raven tool killed me a bunch. Sekiro will be my main game this week so hopefully I don't get too frustrated.

Cleared Dante's 9th&10th mission.

9 is honstly worse then 10.

But Im gald I stuck with it and styled all over tho hard ass missions like a true demon hunter. ?

 

Im gonna being taking a little break from Marvel.

Gonna chip away at Uncarted 4 survival mode in its place.

Its not part of this challenge but I figure its time to wrap it up after 4years. lol

Made it too endless round 10 on my 2nd try, after that me and my partner CatDaFatherChaz easily scored the no damage for 1 round trophy.

I tried to help him get to round 10, butttttttt we both died too a cutter. lol

Ill be helping him out still tho(depite the fauct I have the plat.?)

 

Grinded out my last 13000 Z kills and unlocked my shiny plat.??

 

Really enjoyed my time with Dead Nation, had incredible lighting, phyics, and overall atmsyore.

I know other more AAA production game compeny have put out horror game with much more impressive assets.

But for indy stuido they nalied it here in that deparment.

 

Gameplay had solid level desgin, lots of varaity.

And playing a game witch entails mowing down endless hordes of undead.

Having levels that dont feel at all repeated is kind of importent.

Blowing up zoms with grandes, rocket lunchers never got old once.?

 

Plus unlike most indy horror games, the story actully took its self seroius.

With a more dark and grimm tone...

Oh man the ending sure is brlink, not Last of Us 2 brlink...but you get the picture. lol

 

Overall, I'd give it a final score of...

Shadow of Mordor - returning to this bad boy after reinstalling the game 3 time. Bear in mind that it's on PS3 therefore it works like a mashed potato. Can't wait to complete it.

 

That's  it for now. From that list the only one that worries me is Shadow of the Colossus, I REALLY did not enjoy that game the first time I played it. I hope my opinion will change once I get into the game.
