Popular Post neospoon
Update #6 | Trophies earned: 50/161 | Swaps used: 1/5 | God of War - 37/37 - 100% Ghost of Tsushima - 20/60 - 24% Until Dawn - 4/19 - 14% Doom 17/55 - 21% The Last of Us Part II - 2/28 - 2% Before Ghost of Tsushima... There was a lot going on before starting GoT. I managed to finish the online part to Far Cry 2 (finally). It was a huge grind, but it’s done, and all that’s left is the campaign. After finishing the online part, I started looking in my backlog which other PS3 games required online stuff. First game that popped up was the Red Dead Redemption, luckily it were only a couple DLC trophies that I needed. Made quick work of those trophies and moved on to the next game, which was Persona 4 Arena. I’ve got most of the online trophies done, just 2 or 3 more and that will be another game I won’t have to worry about in case of server shutdowns. With RDR and Persona 4 Arenas online stuff done, I moved over to PS4 again and finished the 2nd DLC for Control. Last but not least I should probably start working on Shadow of Mordor on PS4 and get that one online trophy out of the way before the server shuts down next month. After all this it was finally time for... Ghost of Tsushima After hearing a lot of good things about Ghost of Tsushima, I was finally ready to give it a try myself. I love the story and the way the game looks in general, the music is absolutely amazing and further helps set the tone. However besides the whole samurai lore (which I absolutely love), there is not much to it. The side quests are ok but kind of repetitive, just like the collectibles, I’m not saying it’s not a good game, but in my opinion it’s nothing special or something we have never seen before (besides the samurai stuff) Anyway I’m still enjoying myself with it. Progress is slow because I want to have one area completely done before moving to the next. Just finished the first area and I’m now well into act 2. Hopefully next update will include the platinum for Ghost of Tsushima! Happy hunting everyone!

Looking foward to the game but will start later. I am just finishing hitman 2 which is well over 100 hours, need something light You're welcome hope you like it! Hitman 2 is something i've been meaning to pick up for a long long time. The prospect of it and the sheer amount of content is kind of overwhelming though.
Popular Post Eyerule789
Update 2: Hey everyone! Second update so far for this backlog clearing project. I didn't manage to get too many platinum's cleared off my list, but the ones I did manage to finish were pretty involved. Color Coding: Green: Completed Yellow: In Progress Black: No Change Red: Newly Added 1) Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded (100%) - 9/1/2020 2) Hello Neighbor (100%) - 9/5/2020 3) Dark Cloud (100%) - 9/12/2020 4) Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishment (100%) - 9/6/2020 5) The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan (100%) - 10/11/2020 6) Psychonauts (100%) - 10/2/2020 7) Resident Evil 2 (41%) 8) Moonlighter (1%) 9) Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint (100%) - 11/14/2020 - All in all wasn't too bad of a game. Had a ton of bugs and glitches that came up and in many ways was way less of a complete game than it's predecessor, but still managed to do some things right. I definitely liked the gear system in this game that made the progression fun, while not being so intrusive as to make higher level areas completely impossible like in The Division. 10) Rime (100%) - 10/10/2020 11) Criminal Girls: Invite Only (1%) 12) Amnesia: memories (1%) 13) Secret of Mana (29%) 14) World of Final Fantasy (2%) 15) Code: Realize Guardian of Rebirth (2%) 16) Ether One (3%) 17) Dark Arcana: The Carnival (3%) 18) God of War: Ascension (4%) 19) Mass Effect Andromeda (100%) - 9/26/2020 20) Shenmue (4%) 21) Mad Max (100%) - 10/20/2020 - I managed to snag the platinum before the server shutdown thanks to the help of everyone on this site! It took a while and there was a lot of filler, but was an enjoyable checklist style open world game. 22) Skyrim (100%) - 11/11/2020 - Skyrim is such a great game. I love the fact that even though it was my fourth time through the game I was still figuring out new ways to play the game and going on quests that I had never done before. Glad I got the plat on the anniversary of the original release. Looking forward to playing again when it inevitably comes to PS5! So that's pretty much it for this update. Only three new completions, but completions that took up a huge chunk of time. As always, happy hunting everyone!

Demon's Souls (0%) 19. Bugsnax (0%) Not much progress since I didn't really play anything on the PS4 side, BUT since I got my PS5 yesterday, I played quite a few games! Miles Morales I only played about an hour of it so far and i'm already enjoying it. I'm expecting to enjoy this game despite it being much shorter also it's pretty awesome to see a Hispanic main character(I'm Puerto-Rican). Dirt 5 was a game I could've played on PS4, but I wanted to get the PS5 version instead since...why not! I haven't really played a Dirt game since 2 back on the 360 and so far it's pretty good. There is one style of race that I'm having trouble on so hopefully when I go back to it later on it will become easier, but we will see. Then finally the game I managed to get a platinum in and complete, Astro's Playroom. Sure it was a tech demo for the dualsense controller, but it was still a very fun platformer. I never played Rescue Mission on PSVR since I don't own one but i'm hoping they make another platformer in the next coming years since just from playing this, it seems like they have a good grasp on what makes a good platformer. The goal this week is to just continue on Dirt 5 as well as Miles Morales, and maybe start Bugsnax and Demon's Souls too. I'll get back to the PS4 games soon, but for now, I want to work on the PS5 stuff. Keep on grindin!
gladiatorrrrrrr
it is great to see so much progress being made. But I also some playing other games, not qualifying for this challenge. I do the same by the way. That made me wonder if we couldn't do a 'mother of all challenges'. idea is to do a 2 month sprint with at least 5 games. That can be anything from games qualifying for this challenge or DLC or games you only need that last trophy, etc. When you finished your 5 games you can add 1 more each time. After 2 months you can only qualify for the next 2 month sprint if you succeeded to finish what you started. Only real rule would be that it has to be backlog games so no to be released ones. And preferable ones you already own. What do you think? Oh and I didn't want to hijack this thread ? I will stay on this challenge to the end!
Popular Post Together_Comic
Yet more Everybody's Golf for me. We are in the home stretch now. All the difficult stuff is out of the way, I've gotten all the Albatrosses, the Hurricane shot, the Condors done. All that's left is grinding out the gallery (both people and fish) and finishing up facing the versus characters which are still so extremely slow at 1 per day. I'm roughly half way through them at this point and theoretically, I'll probably just be waiting on them by the end. Still have to play 60ish more tournaments for that one secret character though. ? Here's what's left. 1. Everybody's Golf (67%) 25/31 2. Cuphead (0%) 3. Ni No Kuni (0%) 4. Mass Effect: Andromeda (1%) 5. Kingdom Come: Deliverence (28%)

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (PS4) - 0% 9. Man of Medan (PS4) - 0% Just enjoyed catching up on all your progress over dinner so I best give my own update! We've been locked down again in England for the month of November so I thought I'd improve my overall completion % by revisiting some old PS3 game. I've improved Alice: Madness Returns, Batman: Arkham Origins, Tomb Raider: Legend and Tomb Raider: Anniversary and I had a blast. Next up will be Dead Island, FFXIII, Ni No Kuni and others, for the duration of lockdown at least. As for the list, I think I'm suffering from the lengthened event. It's the old school project scenario where you think you've got ages to do it so you don't do it (see above paragraph). I have made some progress though... I've just reached the final month in Persona 5 and I've been enjoying the twists and turns in the story this afternoon. Each palace seems to get more and more impressive, and I love it when you're blessed with a cut scene. I guess that's the word for it, blessed. You don't get many cutscenes so they feel special and look fantastic when they do. If I've been managing my free time correctly, I should be on track to max all confidants which will be seriously lovely to do first off. I've put 112hrs in so far, and even though it doesn't feel that much, I don't want to have to do another complete playthrough. I pressed on with Saw. The fact that it's clunky actually suits it. Makes it more horrific. It's been worth the £5 off ebay just to experience it and have it in the collection, but it's a bit of a nothing game unfortunately. Still it's fairly entertaining so I can't complain. Should crack on again with it soon. Next up list wise should be Borderlands 3. How many DLCs were out when the event started? None right? I'm quite keen to give The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 a go as well, but I'm going to go through November without starting a new game first. Keep safe guys. Popular Post Liioni
I'm "finally" done with Ni No Kuni and have started on Bayonetta! I had so much fun in NNK so it does feel a bit empty right now, haha. Bayonetta will probably be a challenge because I might be -the- worst at dodging in the world, and since the game pretty is pretty much built upon dodging this will be interesting... I have finished the story before though, so I am still hopeful! It's the harder playthroughs I'm worried about. Other than that I have decided to switch out Plague Inc. I am really not enjoying it and I have enough games in my backlog to not spend time on games I really don't feel like playing. I'll switch in Carto instead, a very cute little game I enjoy chilling around in! If you haven't played it, I highly recommend it. The art is amazing and it's a fun little story and very interesting gameplay! Thanks for all the updates everyone, it's really keeping me sane these days! Popular Post Alternatewarning
Fall/Winter Challenge Update #8 Oh my gosh, 4 Goddesses Online. It was fun up until the end. Talk about bad boss design. I felt like the later bosses was just throwing toothpicks at them and doing just about that much damage. Talk about boring. If the bosses had just been adjusted to not just be giant HP sponges that take potentially OVER 30 MINUTES to take down, then I would have liked it a lot more. Well I guess it's visual novel time! I've been working on Code Realize: Future Blessings for awhile during work or when I'm sitting around at appointments and such. It's definitely on the shorter side but it's fun. Popular Post AuroraHistoire
Setting Your Enemies on Fire is a Very Effective Tactic I got 100% in the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Witcher 3 is a very good game. Both DLCs are even better than the base game, in my opinion. Witcher 3 is also a very long game with long DLC, so it took me long time. Hopefully, the games get shorter from this point on. Witcher 3 wasn't a very hard trophy list. The hardest difficulty wasn't too hard because of the quen sign mostly. Quen is a magic ability that takes a second to cast but will shield you from at least 1 hit (in very rare cases it doesn't help). You can also upgrade it to have an alternate cast mode where it can heal you. I invested my skill points into signs and nothing else because they're all good. Igni is especially powerful since you can set most enemies on fire with it and they will burn for massive damage, rendered completely harmless while they burn in most cases. A much less effective way to defeat your enemies is using the crossbow, because it's terrible for anything that's not shooting flying enemies out of the air. It makes the getting 50 headshot kills with a crossbow trophy a pain with extra pain. The damage of the crossbow is terrible to the point where is takes 7-10 hits to kill the lowest level enemies (on the hardest difficulty). To make things worse, most of my other attacks (or a slightly menacing glance) would 1 shot the enemies by the point of the game I was going for crossbow kills. So I would have kill enemies using only the crossbow and hope the less hit is a headshot. The game doesn't give you any indication your even doing it right. Fortunately, the other crossbow related trophies are easy. Every other trophy is more painless too. I am also adding Danganronpa 1.2 Reload (currently at 8%) and Steins;Gate: My Darling's Embrace (currently at 17%) to the list. I would probably just go off list and play them anyway. Color Coding: Green: Completed Yellow: In Progress Black: No Change Red: Newly Added 1) Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded (100%) - 9/1/2020 2) Hello Neighbor (100%) - 9/5/2020 3) Dark Cloud (100%) - 9/12/2020 4) Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishment (100%) - 9/6/2020 5) The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan (100%) - 10/11/2020 6) Psychonauts (100%) - 10/2/2020 7) Resident Evil 2 (41%) 8) Moonlighter (1%) 9) Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint (100%) - 11/14/2020 10) Rime (100%) - 10/10/2020 11) Criminal Girls: Invite Only (1%) 12) Amnesia: Memories (100%) - 11/21/2020 - So this game taught what an Otome visual novel is, then I found out I had two on this list! Not really my type of game but the visuals art was impressive and it seems that they put a lot of effort into these stories. I'll admit I skipped about 95% of the story, but I can still respect the work that goes into crafting these stories. 13) Secret of Mana (100%) - 11/18/2020 - I definitely enjoyed my time with this game, even though the end-game grinding for rare items got a bit tedious. I appreciate the huge visual overhaul treatment that this game received and hope that Square Enix continues this into the next generation. Still hoping for a Chrono Trigger remaster! 14) World of Final Fantasy (2%) 15) Code: Realize Guardian of Rebirth (100%) - 11-22-2020 - I had pretty much the same thoughts about this game that I had for Amnesia: Memories above. I can respect the work that goes into creating these branching narratives, but these are just really not my types of games. 16) Ether One (3%) 17) Dark Arcana: The Carnival (3%) 18) God of War: Ascension (4%) 19) Mass Effect Andromeda (100%) - 9/26/2020 20) Shenmue (4%) 21) Mad Max (100%) - 10/20/2020 22) Skyrim (100%) - 11/11/2020 23) Bloodborne (3%) So adding Bloodborne to the challenge is a pretty big deal for me. I am god-awful at Souls-Borne games. The only reason I have a couple trophies in Bloodborne is because my friend tried to walk me through it and hold my hand the entire time in an attempt to get me to start playing it. I have had other friends over the years who are super into Dark Souls that have tried to convince me to give them a try and I just wasn't interested. So, I am going to commit to finishing this game in the hopes that I can learn how to handle these games so I can start playing more in the future. That's pretty much it for this update, looking to keep at this list to knock out some more of this backlog! Happy hunting everyone!
Popular Post ladynadiad
1. Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki 2. Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV (12%) 9 out of 53 trophies 3. Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes (57%) 40 out of 55 trophies 4. Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny (11%) 8 out of 38 trophies 5. Stranger of Sword City (59%) 29 out of 45 trophies 6. Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk (0%) 0 out of 58 trophies 7. Alphadia Genesis 8. Liege Dragon 9. Ara Fell: Enhanced Edition 10. Cat Quest II 11. Song of Memories 12. Will: A Wonderful World 13. Dragon Lapis 14. Beast Quest (0%) 0 out of 24 trophies 360 out of 536 trophies earned. 8 out of 14 games completed 2/5 swaps used Started and finished up Dragon Lapis. It was a pretty fun game overall, though a bit more of a grind than its predecessor, Dragon Sinker. The main pain in the butt was the 30 floor long Goddess Shrine since all the floors were pretty big. By the end of it, the rest of the game became a joke and the rest of the post game challenges were easy and the true end final boss went down in two attacks. It was a bit over 20 hours to plat and overall a reasonable plat with a decent story and fun character interactions. Also made some great progress in Stranger of Sword City by getting past some more story quests. As per the usual in this game, am at the oh hey new dungeons opened up, oh crap I'm getting my butt kicked point again and needing to boost levels and equipment to proceed further. Still, I'm getting close to the end as far as I can tell and am just going to keep chipping away at this one. Will be getting back to Trails of Cold Steel IV now, and also will be working on Tales of Symphonia which isn't on my list but I do want to attempt to wrap it up before the end of the year. My main focus is going to be finishing up the second playthrough in Symphonia, but I do also want to try and wrap up my first playthrough in Cold Steel IV soon as well.
