I need a break between long 100+ hour RPGS haha. Quite good. I'd played it before in Japanese, so we're talking a game I enjoyed enough to be willing to do a 4th and 5th playthrough for a plat of the NA version too. And yeah, it is definitely 100+ hours. I'm at over 60 and haven't finished my first run and I actually know general strategy for stuff and am playing on very easy this run. Just make sure you of course play III first since I saw you just wrapped up II.

Popular Post Fire
As i like to say, better late then never Welp, here's my first update: Marvel's Spiderman - 0% Shadow of the Tomb Raider - 0% Spyro - 0% Deponia Doomsday - 0% Dead Nation Apocalypse Edition Bloodborne - 0% Mark of the Ninja Remastered - 0% Cat Quest II - - 12/12/20 Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered - 0% Cat Quest 2 - Nothing much to tell honestly. Similar to the first game, finish all dungeons, all side quests and collect all the items, which was really annoying. I didn't renew my PSNow yet, so i can't play Dead Nation atm and would like to swap it with Bloodborne. Hopefully i will finish more games until the end of this event. Happy hunting everyone.

I finished Gothic Murder. It has a really interesting story, I liked it a lot! I wish it had been a bit longer, but it was a pretty average length for an indie VN. I also started Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle and I’m so excited for it! It’s a clone of Slayaway Camp but with a Friday the 13th skin. Slayaway Camp was my very first plat, and I loved it back then so I’m excited about Killer Puzzle! I’m changing it to be my 75th plat milestone, so I won’t have to postpone any of these games now. Made a bit more progress in Hakuoki too. I had a breakdown today, so I’m not sure how things will go in the coming days. Things are really rough lately and I’m (obviously) at my breaking point, but some of the most stressful things are about to come to an end, so… Hopefully things will start to look up now!
Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
Hello everybody, Bit of a slow week for me. Spend less playing games and what I did. was making progress towards a trophy but not so much popping them Thief 4 I am on my collectible run. The game doesn't keep track on hidden places you have to discover. I am hoping I am not missing anything. I am at 20%-ish still a long way to go. Reminds me how much I hate games with collectibles. Anyway making step-by-step progress AC Chronicles - trilogy (PSVita) Finished first run on the Russia part, currently on Plus Hard mode with no alerts. Some parts are really hard but hey....what is a game without a challenge! Star Wars Battlefront II Spend most of my time on the MP of the game. I am having loads of fun and until now the MP trophies don't feel like a massive grind. Popped two trophies (level 25 and playing with all starting heroes) but still a long time to go...in a galaxy far from here.... Current Status: Plans for next week: - Thief 4; work on collectibles - Finish AC Chronicles Trilogy - Progress on Star Wars BF III - MP Happy trophy hunting everybody!

Could also be my first completion here since I really fell in love with this game. Definitely should check this out if you like some metroidvania / Pokémon mix Swapped AC Valhalla for Monster Sanctuary since I won't have the time for such a big game. Popular Post MidnightDragon
Have all the trophies completed for Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 except the four adventure mode trophies and getting 50K and 100K Tetriminos and Puyos. I'm at about 37,000 Puyos and 38,000 Tetriminos. Thankfully, they didn't get rid of the in-game tracking from the first game. I'm planning on getting the 50K for both, do Adventure, grind out whatever remains for 100K, then finish adventure mode for the To my understanding, you don't even have to finish adventure to 100% it and you can go beyond 100%, which would be nice. Once I finish that, will turn my attention to a couple more incomplete games before I start something new.

Diablo III : Reaper of Souls - achieved 4. Middle-earth : Shadow of Mordor (PS3) - achieved 5. Trine : Enchanted Edition - achieved 6. Naruto : Ultimate Ninja Storm - achieved 7. BioShock Infinite(PS3) - 1%->4%->54% 8. BioShock Remastered - 0% 9. Shadow of the Colossus - 2% Bioshock Infinite - finished the game on easy, collected everything, did all the misc trophies, all that's left is 1999 mode. However the story got me confused and the DLC would apparently spoil me, therefore..... Bioshock Remastered - amazingly enough, I never finished the first game. Had it on a PC which was too potato to work. So I will add this one to the backlog as well (was planning to do it eventually) and after that I will return to Infinite. Apparently there's a glitch to unlock all the difficulties (explains the huge completion percentage) so yeah...doing that first it truly is one heck of a detour but I wish to understand the story abit more once I reach the Burial at Sea DLC.
Popular Post Stanners316
Update #5: 1. Up (PS3) - (20th September) 2. CSI: Fatal Conspiracy (PS3) - (1st October) 3. Man of Medan (PS4) - 0% Out: Rise of the Tomb Raider (PS4) - 46% Borderlands 3 (PS4) - 23% In: Assassins Creed Odyssey - 9% Life is Strange 2 - 0% Swaps used: 2/5 Progress to report, happy days! I finished off Saw and it was fairly painless to clear up after the main game. I enjoyed that it was faithful to the film franchise, happy to have spent time on it to get the plat, but it was just expectedly basic. Only 3 - 4 different types of puzzles, horrible audio and a Saw type mis-mash plot which would be funner to watch than play, mean that it's probably only worthwhile for Saw fans like myself. Persona 5 is easily my game of the year. Like a nice comfort blanket in a permanently cold pandemic environment. I loved every aspect of it, and the NG+ parts were no hassle at all thanks to the fantastic guide on this site. Cool, slick, fun, and like a massage on the eyes and ears, I can't recommend the experience enough IF it's your type of game. I started The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 and I'm enjoying it. It's a fairly complex point and click that I chose because I'd previously liked Dreamfall Chapters. It's one of the era of games where there's one autosave slot so you annoyingly have to keep a close eye on the missables, and some of the progression is really tricky because it's so far fetched, but it is a nice funny experience enhanced with the voice acting. I should have picked up Borderlands 3 again after finishing Persona 5, I really considered it but just didn't fancy it. I did however shoot myself in the foot, face and arse by starting AC Odyssey. It's been a year since I finished Origins and with Valhalla out, I need to ensure I'm still only 1 AC behind... To add that to the list though, I'll need to swap out Rise of the Tomb Raider, BL3 and Man of Medan (2 with smaller games and 1 with AC). I have Life is Strange 2 ready for one of the shorter games but I'm not sure on the other yet so another swap will follow. I'm conscious that Odyssey with the DLC will take a fair while and I may not finish it by the deadline, but I can't not put it on the list if I'm playing it fairly regularly and intend to complete it. That'll be my last update before Christmas. I hope you all have a lovely festive period with your friends and families. Do what you can to make yourselves as happy and content as possible. It's been a nasty year and these events with everyone's updates have been a really nice distraction to all of it. Take care guys ?
Popular Post Together_Comic
Everybody's Golf is done...finally. I will be honest, I let it sit forever because I just didn't have the motivation to sit there for 40 more rounds on the same 5 courses just to collect some spectators and play one more secret opponent. If you don't care about the platinum though, this is a serviceable golf game. The load times are a bit long at least on PS4 (not sure about PS5 or PS4 pro). and there isn't a lot of variety, but beyond that it does the job. The game seems to be designed around incremental play. You play a game here or there when you are short on time or don't have a lot of time to spend in a story game. Eventually, as you play, you will gradually hit all these milestones and unlock the secret characters to play against. Makes enough sense. The issue that I have with this type of design are the albatross and condor style achievements. Not the trophies for doing it once, those kind of make sense as a challenge style trophy. But hitting 3 condors doesn't seem to seem to be congruent with this idea of incremental play. First of all there are only a few courses where its possible (realistically only one). Second you need to have your custom clubs power all the way to 19 or 20 in order to be able to hit the ball far enough. Third, the rate at which your club improves is random. Fourth It cost 10 gems to do one upgrade which is 3 or 4 rounds (only on the special setting) matches to acquire and its really tough to win those without the custom clubs. Fifth you then have to invest all of your club upgrade potential into just the one club (maybe you get one control if you're lucky). You really have to go quite out of your way to get to this point and it feels like most people who are just playing the game, are never going to see this content. I think they are pretty bad requirements. because to be quite honest, it feels like a chore. This is one of the games where you can trophy hunt the fun out of the experience, in my opinion. Anyway, Here's what's left. 1. Everybody's Golf (100%) 31/31 2. Cuphead (0%) 3. Ni No Kuni (0%) 4. Mass Effect: Andromeda (1%) 5. Kingdom Come: Deliverence (28%)

Beast Quest 432 out of 536 trophies earned. 9 out of 14 games completed 2/5 swaps used Wrapped up Beast Quest and my god was that game so bad. Not so much that the overall gameplay and story are terrible. They are just very mediocre at best. The reason why I say the game is so bad is because it's riddled with tons of bugs. I honestly was shocked that something that full of bugs could even be on PSN since that level of poor quality control is usually a Steam thing. The game just was awful as far as the controls went. So many times where the controls would fail to respond or buttons would just stop working in the game. I know it wasn't my controller because closing the game and opening it back up would resolve it. Had far too many instances of game overs due to bugs or controls not responding in general and that was really annoying. Thankfully if you game over, you just get sent back to the last save point but otherwise don't lose any progress. This game was definitely a test of patience and it sure didn't help that the game requires beating on the highest difficulty for the plat. My advice would be to avoid this one entirely. Nothing in the game was good enough to be worth dealing with all those bugs. Did also beat Trails of Cold Steel IV and got most of the trophies for missable stuff except the battle notes. Since you can carry stuff over, just have to make sure to encounter and analyze the missed monsters. Seems I missed encountering a monster in an early area unless trial chests do indeed count (they didn't in CS2, but CS4 doesn't specify except trial chests in the trophy description) but even if it was trial chests as well those are easily obtained. Otherwise all that remains is completing a nightmare run and the remaining bonding trophies. Nothing too hard here because nightmare in this game is a joke compared to CS1, CS3 and Hajimari. Also started making some progress in Sengoku Basara again. I'm up to 31 playthroughs of the 64 needed completed now and got another two trophies. Still a lot of grind left to go on this one, but I'll get that plat someday!
Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, Here’s an update from me. I finished both Gris and Return of the Obra Dinn this week. Both games are not too long but very enjoyable in between the bigger games. I completed the main story of FF7 Remake. I really enjoyed the game although I thought I went on a bit too long in the end. I must say I’m not looking forward to the hard playthrough right after finishing, but I will get to it. I started up Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and I really liked how the game started. I will be playing more in the coming days. I’ve also played more Planet Coaster which I really like. I will add Sackboy a Big Adventure to my list. I’m craving a cute platformer ? 1. Guacamelee! Popular Post Xenoblast91
UPDATE 6.0.: Happy holidays to all of you guys! That time of the year is back, and this will be a different one honestly as all of us can attest from what has happened the whole 2020. Thankfully, the year is over and all the things will be left behind but despite the consequences carry over, we can be resilient and come back stronger of course. This is a time of being mainly at home, enjoying with our loved ones and sharing beauty moments with them, more than never because it is required for everything that has affected us through all this. Also, I like to see this time as a reflection about what did we accomplish, what can we improve and what to be learned; also, how our expectations can affect our overall yield for everything and the expectations vs. reality we often have (don't want to remind of course, but Cyberpunk 2077 hit us again with that unwanted but sometimes unavoidable punch of truth directly in the face). Anyway, these 2 weeks have been good progress in gaming terms for me and I hope you had it too! Let's check it out and see what other stuff we can make: Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered – 0%100% Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - GOTY Edition – 0%100% Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 – 70%73% GTA V – 43%48% Psychonauts – 0% Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades – 0% Final Fantasy VII [OG] – 0% Doom Eternal – 0% Star Wars Battlefront II – 0% Cuphead – 0% Swaps used - 2/5: Assassin's Creed OriginsGTA V Lego Marvel’s Super Heroes 2Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - GOTY Edition At the beginning of the month, and by the news about the servers' shutdown I choose to try Shadow of Mordor. It was a super fun game, the mechanics were solid and the hunting of the ûruks from captains to war chiefs was something enjoyable. Carrying your mini-army of orcs around the world and making them fight for you reminded me a little of what Pikmin was back in the day. I guess the main mechanic could improve a lot, but since the game has other stuff to do in free roam mode, I guess it was enough. The story is impressively short, I was expecting an in depth mythology for the so beloved TLoR franchise, but honestly it left me satisfied. Reading guides about the two DLC that caused so much controversy, made me afraid that I couldn't do it in time before December 31st. However, I found them pretty fun too! The first one for the Hunt of the Wild was really solid and with many YouTube videos I managed to beat it; also, this proved me again one of the things that makes feel thankful about PS4 since it allows the back up of save data into a USB/PS+ cloud service. I don't know how other platforms' users can handle such lack of a versatile mechanic that should be standard among the consoles. The same thing happened with The Test of the Ring which is basically the same as the latter, but here you have a more forgiving time cap for finishing the trial. Overall, I understand why was a "Game of the Year", and even the time have passed since its release, is honestly a great title to tackle and give it a try. I give my time to beat it, since I really enjoyed a lot and haven't had an experience like this in a long time. For NS: UNS4 the thing went really slow. The game itself has much stuff and is something that can be applauded, but overall is tedious. I didn't imagine it could be like that, as sometimes just want to play other games rather than this one. Finished all the story mode, and some errands are left for letting it at ~85% before the Platinum. Yes, I'm waiting for a potential discount on the DLC for completition reasons, but right now I just want to get rid of the main installment. The Adventure Mode which I'm currently exploring has a good deal of fights, collectibles and stuff that are required for another 2 trophies. It is a solid game honestly, but at least doesn't have any online features that are related with the full percentage. I can't imagine the quantity of tryhards in that mode, specially if you're being matched with Asian players which such blood thirsts. Anyway, that's everything that I can recall about this title at the moment. Haven't had the desire to finish since is lengthy in some portions and repeating over and over again your fights can lead to some boredom. Next week is Christmas! And there's a trophy that is tied exactly with that fact. I'm planning to start Psychonauts next week for that purpose. I only touched it back in when PS2 was around and just played a bit of it. Just remember it was a grim and dark game with fun parts around it. Let's see if all this time I'm still remember some parts of it and try to complete it before I return to another left off game. Also, if everything comes right I will tackle finally FFXV: Comrades too by the last week of the year. It shouldn't take a lot of effort, but having a guide at hand is always appreciated, so I'm going to focus on that before any servers issue could sneak into the near future. Guys, I truly wish you all a happy holiday season, stay safe, wear your masks if any social event approach, don't drink a lot and enjoy this time! Wish you the best, hope that Santa brings you a lot of new games and hopes for the next year and play safety. This time when cold and night are at its highest peak remember to always drink a tea or a hot beverage of your choice and add a little lemon taste to it for vitamin C, LOL. See you in 2021, and my best vibes and feelings towards you; happy hunting in this little 2020 string left !

Too high a goal~ As such I'm taking a break from this list but I will be back! For now I think I'm going to swap to my alternate account and play more Yakuza! Not too much to say since it's more of the same! Once I recover from rushing so many platinums (for me) I'll go back to Chaos;Child. So there may not be any updates for the next few weeks. Popular Post dark_moon689
Update 8: Finished Persona 5, I liked quite a bit and will consider playing others after I eventually finish P4 Arena Ultimax on ps3 which I didn't really like but I will try to get the platinum for it. I did a little progress on Overcooked 2 and will probably get some more trophies over the holidays playing the dlcs with my sister. I am also making my first swap, removing Letter Quest Remastered which I started played for a while, it seemed ok but after getting several levels to 3 starts and seeing how much I had left I just couldn't bring myself to do so it was just too boring and since I didn't pop a trophy I will probably never get back to it. In it's place I am grabbing Vampyr since I got a short subscription to PS NOW. 1. (PS4) The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition - 10% / 14% 2. (PS4) Darksiders II - 8% /3. Serious Sam 3: BFE - 5%; #Update Since I'm having a little break from boosting online stuff all the time, and I finally have some time to put into cleaning up my backlog, I've decided that I will take advantage of that and commit to the event :D. I've added 10 games, besides Serious Sam all of them are relatively quick and painless so I should get them done before the end of this event. Now, BRUTAL LEGEND - 100% & #168 Platinum Trophy (which is also my 400th ultra-rare trophy, nice coincidence). I went into this game knowing pretty much nothing about it, did online trophies first around a year ago, and it was waiting for its turn in my backlog roulette. Thought the event might be a good opportunity to tackle this game, and boy oh boy, I regret it a lot. Don't get me wrong, I can understand and respect those who love this game, there's plenty of stuff here that can justify having this game in one's top 10, or as someone's guilty pleasure. However, I have basically two general rules I follow when it comes to the games I play. 1) I can accept mediocre gameplay if the story is great, and 2) I can accept a shitty story if the gameplay is great. Yeah, sometimes there are some deviations from said rules, but that's what I do 99% of the time. That's the reason I wasn't able to finish Dante's Inferno DLC or Duke Nukem Forever. If both aspects are painful and just having to finish the game is as difficult as studying for my finals to a subject I fucking hate, well, that's where I draw the line. And this game was very close to crossing the line... I'm no Tim Schafer, haven't played any other game of his, just thought it was worthing mentioning. ONTO THE EXPERIENCE ITSELF -> Humor is great, its been months since a game has made me laugh out loud. The art design is fantastic, I was constantly appreciating how cool everything was looking, the enemies, the environment, even the characters had their "styles" which I appreciate, it's hard to make a cast of characters that can be differentiated from each other. I'm no Metal fun, I love and play harder tunes but I must say, the soundtrack in this game is excellent, and many, many songs have arrived on my Spotify playlist. However, that's where the good things about this game end for me. The story was predictable and not interesting at all, the performance was terrible, just simply driving around had my console display around 15/20 frames all the time, it was a pain to watch, the entire map (besides these few areas that are basically simple bridges between larger areas) were so chaotic that I (had been delivering pizza in a 0.5 mil city for years in college) had to use the map pretty much all the time, only near the end of the playthrough I felt comfortable enough to drive from A to B without opening the map every 10 seconds. This brings us to the next point, the driving physics is utter garbage, one of the worst I've ever experienced, bumping into the air after hitting the slightest obstacles, or simply not being able to pass tight openings was infuriating. RTS or Tower Defense sections of the game were painful and poorly designed, + the AI on Brutal Difficulty always felt like a cheater IMO. A shitload of collectibles, and the constant fear of experiencing the glitch that wipes out your progress made me sit through around 6 hours of collectible & side quest clean up after I was done with the game. Add to the fact pointless multiplayer which luckily was easy and quick to boost, and yeah, not a lot of positive things I will remember about this game lol. Thanks for reading, I wish everyone safe and happy holidays, cheers.

Popular Post StilRh
Well done on some great progress everyone! This week I've finally completed Spiderman: MM, on hindsight it is a nicer game than I first thought, just when I first started playing it felt shallow compared to the other Spiderman game, almost like a DLC. I've picked up Demon Souls again after analysis paralysis over the character/world tendancy manipulation. I think I've made a few errors (summoned to be monk boss when placing blue sign, thought I could kill players and get away with no character tendancy change as I was not summoned under black sign, boy was I wrong!) so I'll probably have to do an additional playthrough, but I feel I know the game well now and compared to later Souls games it's quite easy to speed run with OP builds and cheesable or gimmick bosses. Lastly, I've added Cyberpunk 2077, having a lot of fun with the game but the bugs and some crashes have detracted from that a little. I'm happy to play the game for the plat now, but as I seldom return to games for a second playthrough after I have the platinum, I'm wondering if I should wait for some more patches to drop for a better experience overall. Plans for this week: Working over christmas. Covid has hit the ward bad with 50% of patients positive and 16 staff members off sick with it :'( In my time off I'll prob be with family, but I'll probably muck around with Souls, Stellaris (off challenge game) and Cyberpunk. I have a feeling that wifey if going to get me the new COD for christmas so I might add that to the list, just I am awful at zombies trophies. Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Time for an update on a cold Sunday morning with Platinum #163 - Minecraft Dungeons and Platinum #164 - Immortals: Fenyx Rising. I also made the decision to remove Cyberpunk 2077 indefinitely. I ended up getting it refunded for the time being. I'll definitely get around to playing it, but i'll likely do that this time next year once I have my PS5 and the actual PS5 version is released. I was really really looking forward to playing this game this year, but i'm also grateful for the huge amount of other games available to play as alternatives. Life is Strange 2 Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Odin Sphere Leifthrasir Rebel Galaxy Rebel Galaxy: Outlaw Shadow of Mordor Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Sackboy: A Big Adventure Immortals: Fenyx Rising Minecraft: Dungeons The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope 20% [Paused] Watch Dogs: Legion 7% [Paused] Cyberpunk 2077 Anyway! Let's talk about Minecraft Dungeons Spoiler As a huge Diablo-style looter fan, I was really excited at the prospect of giving a game that not only is part of that genre but is also part of one of my favourite gaming universes. I also came into this quite late so I not only had the main game (which is a pretty short platinum trophy list) but also a couple of expansion packs to go with it. I love that feeling of starting a new game and knowing that I not only have the base game to play, but a bunch of DLC content already released and ready for me to get stuck into. The best way I can describe the game is that it is a very light version of a dungeon crawler like Diablo. Every gameplay system is lean and simplistic and the depth only really comes into play when you are working your way through the Apocalypse+ 'end game' difficulties. That's where stat builds and gear grinding really starts. It's also where I had the most trouble. The way the loot works and how it scales you with the difficulty of the level is somewhat imbalanced. You really rely on luck more than anything in what gear you get and how effective you can be in the next difficulty level. For example - you get some level appropriate gear pieces and the game recommends you start on a specific Apocalypse+ tier difficulty. You start that recommended level and you get one-shot by everything. Then you realise you might have the right gear level, but you need really specific gear abilities to get through it. So you downgrade your difficulty - which makes level appropriate gear changes drop significantly. And you are forced to spend hours grinding lower level difficulties in the hope that you can get lucky enough to get some level appropriate gear with the right abilities. I ended up grinding for hours just to get the right combination. The reason you need to do this isn't for the platinum, the platinum itself is actually quite do-able. But you have to do it to be able to take care of a single trophy in the latest DLC for the game, which is to beat the base game final boss on Apocalypse + 5 difficulty. The whole difficulty system needs a tune-up to be a bit more accessible and functional I think. All in all though, I actually really had fun with this game. Bar about 10 or so needless hours of grinding because of how they've optimized their late game loops as far as loot is concerned. I'm looking forward to the next 2 or 3 expansions that are planned too. Next up is Immortals: Fenyx Rising Spoiler Originally called 'Gods & Monsters' (it got name changed due to an alleged legal name dispute from the Monster energy drink company) Immortals is an open world adventure-platform puzzler-action-RPG-crafting mega hybrid of a game. I think that's the only way I can summarize it due to the sheer variety of gameplay systems present. You can see multiple influences from other games here and you'll probably see alot of people connect it with games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. To me personally, it felt most like Assassin's Creed combined with Breath of the Wild and a Saturday morning cartoon from the 90's. I really loved this game and it had some really compelling puzzles and platforming sections. It's a light storyline with some very pun-based and silly humour (which I really loved and felt guilty about loving) and the writers really know their Greek mythology which is what the game centers around. All in all, it is a fun and easy going adventure game. It also clocked in at about 50 hours for me, which compared to the 150 hours I spent with AC Valhalla, it was a super short game. I think they made some strange decisions with releasing this game though - specifically the timing. They decided to push this out at the same time as AC Valhalla and just before Cyberpunk 2077, which is really odd. I'm sure lot's of people will pass Immortals by because of that, which is a real shame. I'm also really interested in their standalone DLC expansions which are completely different stories, tackling different world mythologies and with different characters - one looks like it is set in Japan and the other in Ireland. Overall, I'm really glad I made time for this game. Silly humour, a colourful cartoony world and satisfying puzzling, platforming & action is just what I needed at the end of a dumpster fire of a year. Have a good one all! And if I don't end up posting here before Christmas - have a lovely one! Edited December 21, 2020 by Crispy_Oglop
