Really slowing down on my gaming though, had a family death and then fell behind at work, so I don't think I'll get much more done for the challenge this month. Popular Post MidnightDragon
I've resumed work on Need For Speed Rivals on PS3. I have gotten both cop and racer to level 39 and 62 gold medals. You need 100 gold medals for the platinum, but there are 136 total, so you don't have to do every single one. I also need to get both my cop and racer to level 60. I'm also getting a bit closer to finalizing my list for the spring challenge. Got all the allies recruited and have finished my four playthroughs with each hero. Also got the run with less than 100 KOs completed. All that remains to wrap up now is maxing out levels on all 16 heroes and obtaining all their weapons. Have 11 out of 16 to max level and 9 out of 16 have all weapons. Right now I'm just doing quick battles with the remaining ones who need max level until they hit max and getting that wrapped up and then I'll wrap up any who didn't get all their weapons in the process after that. Obtaining all the weapons is definitely the more annoying of the two trophies because it's completely RNG based and requires doing the battle on hard difficulty to have access to the ones that drop the least frequently. Still, should hopefully wrap this one up before this is over unless my luck with getting weapon drops really sucks.
Popular Post MidnightDragon
I spent WAY too much time trying to finish this one event in NFS Rivals, so I didn't get as much done as I'd hoped. I got to level 40 with cop and 42 with racer and 63 gold medals total. Since I still have 73 possibilities to choose from, gonna just give up on it and do other things. Popular Post StilRh
Weekend update. We've had another Covid outbreak on the ward so I was working around the clock last week! I did manage to take a big chunk out of Ys yesterday and will try and finish the game (not the second playthrough though) tomorrow. Popular Post Draps-1337
Started DMC3 (it's pretty solid so far) but put it on pause to go back and finish Messenger, as I was a fair way through the game (I thought at least), Messenger turned out to be way longer than I expected when including the DLC, some of those bosses were really mean! I did have a good time for the most part, the backtracking was pretty painful, I wish they just let us fast travel in the second part of the game. I went to try play Grow Up again, but it just does not have the same magic and direction that the first game had. So I abandoned it. Only a week left to get these done. Which for me I don't think is possible, I have work every day until the end of this event. So I expect some of these will be side burner games throughout the Spring event. Happy Hunting everyone! Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 25 - 2/21/2021 Nabbed a few more Riddler trophies in Arkham Knight, but no actual completion progress. Since the game's overall completion is at 50%, I'm putting it on hold and transferring it over to the Spring challenge along with a few other games on my list. For this challenge, I still plan on getting that final trophy for 100% in RE2 Remake and finishing FF8. That would put me at 16 games completed out of 20. Even though I won't complete every game on my list, this challenge has still helped me clear out my backlog more than I would have otherwise. Between this challenge and the last one I've cleared 20 games in 8 months. It may not seem like much to some, but that's more than I cleared in 2018 and 2019 combined. So these challenges have been a big help! Especially during the pandemic when it's been easy to get lazy about everything. Sounds silly, but clearing video games from my backlog has helped me stay motivated in other areas of my life. I've also learned more about what kind of games work best for me in these challenges. 40-80 hours seems like the sweet spot. So basically games that can be completed in under 2 weeks. I think my issue with this challenge is that I was overzealous and put too many 100-150+ hour games on my list like Avengers, Batman, and Yakuza 7. In the future I'll limit longer games to one or two, tops. And then even those out with a couple 10 hour games. Anyway, enough rambling. Have a good final week, everybody! The game itself I have zero interest in. It's not my thing, but I guess I just need to power through the campaign and get it over with. MouseCraft 5% 100%; Final update from me ^^. #176 Resident Evil Revelations My first platinum in the Resident Evil series, might be a weird pick in your eyes but after finishing the story in about 14 hours, I was playing exclusively for almost 2 weeks game's Raid Mode with my buddy until the platinum popped. The game itself is very enjoyable, despite its obvious shortcomings due to it being a port from a handheld console. Infernal difficulty was kind of disappointing, even without Infinite ammo etc. it was a cakewalk. That changes in Raid Mode though, which is basically a "grind until you have good enough weapons and high rank to play harder variations of single-player stages" type of mode. That's one of the reasons why I wasn't able to finish every game I chose for this event. Guides say to expect around 30/40 hours in this mode, which was okay when I was just starting it, but in reality, it dragged into around 65 hours, during which I became so accustomed to this mode that I even made a gameplay guide for it (should appear soon on the website). If it was a little bit more varied, and the grind shortened, I would actually rate it a solid 9/10 overall, but the amount of grinding left a bad taste in my mouth. All in all, I enjoyed it and recommend to everyone who hasn't given this game a chance yet. #177 The Picture Says it All Medal of Honor was a series that was very close to my heart ever since I had my first PS2. It basically has shaped my taste as a gamer (my love for FPS genre) so it was just a matter of time before I tackle this baby. What can I say, I'm just glad the game gave the option for the modern controls, damn, the old-school controls would have been almost impossible for me to adjust nowadays. The plat itself was fairly manageable, a few chapters on hard were annoying - for those who aren't aware, no health regen, no checkpoints, health doesn't regenerate between chapters, enemies have hitscan mechanics but you don't. A lot of unfair damage taken due to enemies having aimbot + hitscan (hitscan means the enemy doesn't have to take into account the bullet's travel speed, where they aim they hit). But that should be expected from a game that's almost 20 years old. I'd say it was a bit harder than Call of Duty Classic, fewer checkpoints where you had to rush in order to stop enemies from spawning, but CoD was more forgiving in other aspects. Overall quite enjoyable experience which ends my Medal of Honor trilogy platinums. I wish I was able to finish everything from the list, but with Resident Evil taking way more time than I thought it would, + spending over 50 hours to boost online in Syndicate, Street Fighter X Tekken, and Naughty Bear prevented me from being able to finish the last 3 games. Next time though I will pick fewer games so it should go smoother. It's been fun as always, thanks to @MidnightDragon for hosting the event, and I will see you lads in the next one ;).

Popular Post xItsLesterx
Update #6 of 6 First of all, I wanna thank @MidnightDragon for hosting such a great event. Second, I wanna give a shoutout to everyone who participated on this event. You guys were a huge motivator to keep working on the challenge, not only to myself to other trophy hunters as well. Now on to my final update. I finished up Trials of Mana and what a great remake. SquareEnix hit it outta the park with how colorful, the mechanics and how truthful it was to the original. After finishing it, I decided to jump on to a fans' favorite and played NieR and NieR: Automata, another SquareEnix series. Can I just say how I have had my copy of NieR for over 10 years and this is the very first time I played? Excuse my language but holy shit, I was not ready for this. NieR totally blew me away. The soundtrack? I have NEVER cared about it on any game but loved just about every single song on every area I would go to. Now, I know the game does not show 100% but it was because I had to mess around the PS3 system clock to get a trophy and the date and time of the missing trophies are listed for March 6th. So before I sync them, I'll just wait until that date. After finishing it, I jumped straight into NieR: Automata. This game looked gorgeous, solid soundtrack but, personally, not as soon as the first game. Story wise, I wish they would had linked it a bit more to the NieR but I still liked it, especially with the multiple endings. Still, I knew where they were going with the ideas of existence and so forth. Just like its predecessor, I have not gotten its 100% because I'm gonna wait until I first do NieR and then do it. Definitely a solid game, enjoyed every bit of it and just like its reviews? Highly recommended. Unfortunately I could not finished my whole list due to taking a month-long break between December and January but it's ok. Definitely played and finished some great games. Just wanted to congrats the people that have been grinding away on here and thank you all for the updates, giving me stuff to read during the waiting rooms of the hospital
Popular Post StilRh
Final update: Just platted Ys IX. Completed about (a bugged bronze trophy prevented the plat in Medievil and I didn't complete the VR content on Concrete Genie or paid DLC on Metro Exodus) 20 out of my 30 games and made some reasonable progress in the ones I didn't complete. I played p-l-e-n-t-y of off-list games, at the end of the day gaming and trophy hunting should be a fun hobby for me and there were times I needed a change. It's been excellent to tune in to the progress of other players from hardcore to casual participants, thank you Spoiler 13 Sentinels 100% A Boy And His Blob 100% Astro's Playroom 100% Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy 32% Bugsnax 100% Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 72% Carto 100% Cold Steel 2 10% Concrete Genie 95% (need PSVR to finish) Cyberpunk 2077 19% Demon Souls 100% Desperados 3 0% Enigmatis 2: The Mists of Ravenwood 100% Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek 100% Erica 0% Guacamelee 30% Hollow Knight 100% Immortals Fenyx Rising 100% Kotodama: the 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa 100% Maneater 100% Medievil 98% (bugged?) dark_moon689
Update 11: I realized I am missing a DLC for Overcooked! 2 and I won't be able to 100% yet so I swapped it for Wolfenstein: The New Order which I already started but was at 0% about two weeks ago. I intent to finish it tomorrow, only a few perks left to get and some collectibles. Everything else will probably be moving to the next event. I guess I did ok, 10 games finished (maybe 11 if I manage to finish Wolfenstein tomorrow.) The rest of my time was spent finishing FFXV from ps now before it left in two days, damn Adamantoise took me nearly two hours to kill and I was dreading electricity would leave me and I would have to start over. 1.
