Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
So I will give an update every Friday, for your enjoyment to read and for me as a motivation to keep on working on some games every week ?. So it is Wednesday I almost hear you think, true but I am off for a motor trip from tomorrow onward so I see this as a Friday. I decided to start working first on Far Cry : a New Dawn and Hitman 2 at the same time. I presume I need a lot of time to finish Hitman 2, with 125 trophies excluding the DLC. So my plan is to do one location at a time and play Far Cry in between as getting the 'getting to mastery level 20' trophies require you to play the same location a couple of times. Playing only hitman will make me lose my mind. I already made some good progress with both games, so happy about that! The grinding in Hitman 2 is (up until now) fun to do, figuring out how to get a certain kill in order to get XP which helps you to get to the mentioned trophy. I am not suing a guide, so it is a lot of trial and error. Far Cry is just a FC game, cleaning up the map, doing some missions and just having fun. Nothing too difficult but fun to do.

That's a good idea. I tried to post an update every week during the summer challenge and it helped me for sure. I'll be doing the same for this one, too. Probably every Monday morning. Good luck! Mini update: I was planning on getting through Deadly Tower of Monsters and the rest of FFXV Pocket this week, but now I'm saving them for the one day challenge on the 26th. So it's going to be all Avengers all week for me with some Rocket Arena mixed in.
Popular Post SpacebarPlays
Hey @MidnightDragon Id like to jump in if possible (I know the start date has been and gone so far :P), being ill over the summer backlog challenge put a bit of a dampener on my progress there and im still a few games left on the ole backlog. (By few, i mean like 80-odd) If i can jump in, going to start easy and just add games as i slowly fill up the backlog. So to start: Spyro 2 - 7% Spyro 3 - 0% The Order 1886 - 0% Sherlock Holmes: The Devils Daughter - 0% Final Fantasy IX - 0% Marvels Avengers - 0% (An edit after a couple hours but i completely forgot that the new Avengers game was out and i want some Superhero fun So i'll add that to the list and then swap out if its unobtainable or whatever) Edited September 2, 2020 by SpacebarPIays

I think you'll like them. I've played most of them and find them to be a good value overall since they also aren't expensive games. You'll enjoy a nice fun game that can be beaten in a few days and has an enjoyable story along with a reasonable plat. If you need help finding subquests I'd recommend to check out rpginsanity.com. They usually have a listing of those either on the game info page or in the forums. None of the games have missable trophies either. I love Kemco games enough that I usually buy their new releases when they come out now.

It was pretty late last time, so I went to bed instead Technically I started a bit early, because RIDE 2 is an annoying case. The game is pretty easy, and I'm technically almost done, but there's a grind for 340 tokens to get all rider bonuses. You can get 6 PER DAY. So I'm stuck with that for like two months, even though you can also use in-game money to trade for it, but the payoff is horrible. This means I'll have to go back every day to unlock those 6 tokens and then play something else. I'm not good enough to do the weekly challenges as well. It was all quiet on my boosting partner's front yesterday, so let's hope we can finish the remaining online trophy today. Happy Hunting everyone!

Popular Post Wild-Arms-R
So finally put time into my 1st game on the backlog for this challenge. Going to give daily updates, dont know if that will be to much or not, but seems like it may keep me motivated truout this whole thing. And maybe it will be a good read too, idk. lol) Day 1-So after many, many, many(did I menion the word many?) Failed runs of Mein Leben. I desided that getting to the end of New Oreans for the 1st and dying a stpuid death to a super soilder. I found that to be good enuff progress for now and loaded up classic old Doom. Now I havent played this game since I 200g'd it back on 360 when I went tru whole BFG Collection in 2013... Needless to say, the game is still a blast, from the tight as hell level desgin, controls and rockin' early 90s soundtrack. This game is honestly better at what it does then Wolfestin 2(a modern game lol) Im also playing all 4 episodes on Ultra Violice difficulty btw without quick saves as a added challenge. Gotta keep things intreasting afterall plus its prep work for coop nightmare later too. ? Tho I have died more times then Id like to amit on ep.1 alone... Finshed Episode 1 after pumping both Hell Barons full of lead. End Log. Edited September 4, 2020 by Wild-Arms-R
Popular Post Liioni
Finished my first game, Hidden Through Time, it was an enjoyable game, short and fun. The online trophies felt a bit "meh" though, but I did run in to a few really great online maps, so I can really recommend checking out what the community has made. I am re-adding Plague Inc:Evolved since the devs released a patch that fixed all the trophy issues, I've really got an urge to play it so I'm really happy that they addressed the issue so fast. I'm trying to decide if I want to start with Horizon or Bayonetta first, and while doing that I'm ticking of some of the smaller games. I think next up will be Hue, I did enjoy it when I first started it, I don't remember why I quit playing it, so we will see if I figure it out soon enough. Hah. Popular Post dark_moon689
Update 2: Second game done, this time a game that I dragged from the summer event but I am noticing while making this update that I didn't include in the fall event list. Considering it was under the % limit I am adding it now and marking it as done. Sat with my sister between yesterday and today and just played through it. It was kinda fun and cute, but I would have hated playing through it on my own, just doing the require level with a pet felt super annoying. But playing with 4 players must be entertaining so I am leaving it installed in case the opportunity arises. I'm doing slow headway on the Witcher 3, but I like to read everything and see all cutscenes in these games so it might take a while. 1. Popular Post Alternatewarning
Fall/Winter Challenge Update #1 I'm going to endeavor to update on Fridays but we'll see how it goes. For the first week, I managed to make some nice headway into Cold Steel II. I got nearly all the affection trophies done which definitely took longer than I anticipated. But at least it's done. The last two I'll have to do in my Nightmare run cause I messed it up this time around. Right now I'm working on finishing up the end of the story the first time but, after finding a good build guide online, it's going much better than before. I also went back to working on Danganronpa V3 which is not on my list since I was mostly done with it, but I hope to finish that soon as well. Popular Post ladynadiad
1. Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki (50%) 30 out of 53 trophies 2. Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV (releases 10/27 in NA) 0 out of 53 trophies 3. Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes (31%) 22 out of 55 trophies 4. Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny (11%) 8 out of 38 trophies 5. Marenian Tavern Story (0%) 0 out of 50 trophies 6. Enslaved Odyssey to the West (0%) 0 out of 59 trophies 33 out of 281 trophies earned. 0 out of 6 games completed 0/5 swaps So I am a bit addicted to Hajimari no Kiseki because it actually ended up being a pretty good game. I beat the game yesterday, which is pretty amazing when I got it on the 28th. Stayed up much too late playing it and got overly emotional because the ending made me both cry and laugh. It made me cry because the game accomplished the seemingly impossible of getting me attached to a character that previously I loved to hate and it made me laugh because some of the antics in the ending were hilarious like the picture in the credits of poor Kurt being put into a dress is about the least spoilery one I can talk about. And then for my more spoilery take on this (includes ending spoilers): Spoiler So pretty much I ended up getting very attached to our former antagonist turned into protagonist and his party. I actually accidentally came across a spoiler revealing who C was before I started the game and outright groaned when I saw this because of my dislike for the character. Didn't expect his route to become my favorite or to actually end up with him as a favorite. I'm torn between wanting to say dammit Falcom again and being happy because this game was so good and that was a big part of what made it so good. I am going to blame moments like this for it because Rufus and Lapis are adorable together in a cute big brother/little sister sort of way. Of course each protagonist needs his cute loli to give headpats to and even Rufus is no exception now that he's a protagonist and Lapis is freaking adorable and I loved her as a character. But what really got me was how the other two groups just totally accepted him as one of them even despite their incredibly valid reasons to dislike him. It was a beautifully done redemption arc for a well done antagonist and I loved every second of it and cried my eyes out because for a moment it looked like something very bad was going to happen, but Rufus and his party got a happy ending and the very last bit showed the four of them going off together on a new adventure together. The ending just seriously broke me emotionally and I loved every moment of it and playing CS4 is so going to hurt now after this when I already know that game is an emotional rollercoaster, but I have a feeling we're going to see them again in the next arc. Also made a bit of progress in Sengoku Basara. Sadly didn't have time to play it the last couple of days because I was so absorbed in Hajimari no Kiseki. Not surprised this happened though, Hajimari is a good game and it's hard to play something else even if Sengoku Basara is fun. Will try to get some more progress in this weekend at chipping away at the numerous hero stories of which I'm still not even halfway done with.
Popular Post Wild-Arms-R
Day 2:Cleared Episode 2 tonight on Doom. And Im really liking what Im playing so far. Doom is very much a product of its time, it shows offen in its routgh edges. But when the game gets going its feels soild. Kinda reminds me of a great modern indy game. Maybe thats just how well Doom 1 holds up. Its also cool how in episode 2, you can really tell the devs desided to be a lot more ambitious with the level desgin this time around. Adding more exportion into the gameplay loop. They did this by inculding more switchs, high to low terain, low to high terain, keys and of couce secrets. Im really impressed how with thier efforts to help Doom reach its potenial due to these choices Ppl talk about how good Doom core macantics feel. But really Dooms got some good exspration to it as well. Had one pretty funny death to note. So I finally found the chainsaw in Ep.2 M7. And rushed headlessly at a Hell Baron...yeah didnt go as planned. lol After rocket dueling the Cyber Demon, I moved onto Episode 3! Popular Post Wild-Arms-R
Day 3:One of the few times youll probbly hear this but...I went to hell, and it was awesome. ? Yeah were in Episode 3 and we got some banger music out of the hell gate. Along with some neat level design that seems to follow a more puzzle survival horror like structure. Alot less anmo going around, more puzzle like levels, stuff like that, but this is doom so runin' n gunin' is still rambit. I got the hell(pun intended) out of me in mission 4, House of Pain, died like 15times till I learned the level and run for the exist. Had some skme fun exsporing mission 5 with all the telaporters and got some nice slight seeing of Hell while I was at mission 6. Gave the Spider Master Mind a enturnal ass kicking and started up episode 4 soon after. Played Ep4 like a hr n a half, I kpet dying on mission 2. These levels seem pretty horible tbh, like thier is non stop enimies(seems like) with lots of terrible placement to boot. Based on the first 2 missions alone this just seems really poor in compasion too the other 3 epidodes. May just rush tru it on Too Young to Die cus its not required for the Speed Run and Coop Nightmare runs. Its just dosnt seem made for a UV diffictly run tbh. Popular Post StilRh
Weekend update: Hit a lot of my games this week. Hollow Knight has really sucked me in and I plan to finish it this week, I'll likely use the glitch for the pantheon trophy - I like hard games but I'm not going to sink tens of hours into beating the DLC content. Finished Town of Light. From a technical perspective it's a very basic walking simulator, from a story perspective, I liked it. I am a psychiatric nurse by trade (hopefully less primative than portrayed in the game) and so a lot of the themes reasonated with me.
