I'm sure I'll be fine in a few hours, I used to do tech support for a living and am quite tech savvy. But some things just take time. I will post again when I have a better idea of my problem. Yomawari: Night Alone Incorporeal Monsters - Spectres I struck down each and every spirit I could with all the strength of... a 6 year old girl. Yeah, this game isn't exactly about fighting ghosts as much as it is avoiding them, but you do put several spirits haunting the town to rest, and near the end of the game you straight up banish several hand-like demons with some sort of holy light. You do the same thing to the final boss ghost, so yeah, I'm calling it. Don't underestimate the power of a little kid looking for their sister! Control Biblical Monsters - Heavenly Creatures The astral, otherworldly being known as the Hiss has finally been put down for good. I've been wanting to play the A.W.E. DLC for this game since I heard about it, and it was every bit as good as I thought it would be. It's so good to know that Alan Wake hasn't been forgotten about, and I cannot WAIT to see what they do with it. Anyway you fight plenty of Hiss in the DLC that I played, and if that's not enough, you even fight some of the Shadow too from Alan Wake, which is definitely some kind of astral entity. Popular Post Spacey_Dweeb Posted September 7, 2020 Author Popular Post Share Posted September 7, 2020 Technical difficulties update: After attempting to let my computer do a rollback to a previous date's driver configuration, it failed and now the hard drive isn't even being detected as a bootable device. The drive appears to be working physically. I can feel it spinning etc. I'm going to my brothers today so that we can mount the drive into one of his computers and recover important files like baby pictures of my kids and whatnot. I should be able to get the image files for this event at the same time. Spacey_Dweeb Posted September 7, 2020 Author Share Posted September 7, 2020 (edited) Unfortunately, the drive is dead. My brother who is an IT professional confirmed it for me. He thinks it's the actual circuit board on the hard drive itself that died. We couldn't recover anything from it. I have those baby pictures etc backed up from some time in the past, but that will be on some flash drive in a box in storage somewhere. It would have been a lot better if I had been able to just recover them. Also, it means I lost everything I had put together for the event. I will share out what I had soon because I had been sending them in messages to the VHA to get opinions. Unfortunately, I'll probably be down for a couple weeks. I'm just going to replace the whole PC and not the drive since it was rather aged anyway. I can't just spontaneously drop a few hundred dollars on a replacement today. I'm going to use Minecraft Dungeons for Skeletons since it has a variety of enemies in the game that goes towards killing a bunch on enemies. There's a chance I will have a computer sooner than I anticipated in my last post. My wife didn't fight me on getting a replacement sooner rather than later. Also my brother says he has a good pc lying around that he intended to make a media server, and I can probably just take it, but we'd need to install windows on it since it has Ubuntu as it's OS right now. SO hopefully I'll be up and running again in a couple of days. Logos. This is the only photo I sent to Van Helsing Alliance with logos. This was in their kind of final draft state and not actually created in a graphics program. I had planned minor tweaks to most of them, Aes Sedai may have a major change depending on how it comes out. That was the logo I was planning to work on next when the computer wouldn't boot up. I will have to remake all of these. Here are the heads. Unfortunately, I stuck them all on this blue/green background gradient and didn't send them out individually as transparent pngs. If I did that, I would have been able to use these. *Edit* I thought I'd end up remaking these too or spending time dropping the background out so I can extract them, but @gruffiiti took the initiative and did it for me. The game did so much right were pokemon goes wrong in the last years. Includes also a lot of bountys with dragons, insects, ghosts and mad people the Humor is really good and i enjoyed so far every bit of it. Created Monsters - Human-Like Spinacheq - Akiba's Trip (PS4 version) - Platinum -The synthisters are humans turned into a vampire like creature through science and not true vampires in the game. There are 3 true vampires in the game but 2 are suppose to be your friends and the other is helping to turn humans into synthisters. Akiba's trip not a bad game, if you don't have to play it 4 times for each ending and all difficulties and then a 5th time cause missed one little flag and it ruined a run.... now I remember why I stopped playing it before lol. Not sure how I ever convinced myself to play the ps4 version a few years after the ps3.... bargin bin pick ups, they will be the death of me. My first contribution on the Mystery Inc. board is The Witch and the Hundred Knight which completes the requirement for... well, witches. Overall a good game with probably the worst beginning I've ever seen. Was still pretty enjoyable though. I do have a question for the VHA: I have a game that I'm looking to complete next, but we're not sure yet what bounty we want to use it for as it's contains a lot of different monsters. Would you prefer that I record my completion as soon as it's done or when we will have decided what it will be used for? You can hold onto the completion and wait a while, but once you declare that the game is done and you're using it for X bounty. It's locked in and you can't change it from X. (Mostly so I don't have to re-do score cards. If I was loose on that, people would try to move things around constantly.) However, you can claim that bounty the same day, or a month later. I would prefer people announce them sooner rather than later so everyone sees the progress of the teams.
