This game is already dying

As expected, this game is already dying. It’s not dying because the game itself but rather of the developers’ sheer incompetence of fixing all the common problems since game’s release. They tried to fix issues while bringing back old ones. They can be transparent and detailed on their updates as much they want, they still didn’t fix them all. This is why people are so fed up of the devs and they simply quit from a game in a terrible state.

 

I guess it’ll be time to boost as soon as it’s very dead.

It may explain why it's recently on sale -- I bought it and I would need to boost it.

 

A friend of mine told me I would need a full group of 10 to be able to boost it successfully and ranked play is pretty much desolate.

Not surprising, it's console, everything tends to die pretty quick on console.

I meant poorly slapped together games with terrible support. I'm sure whatever Windows 98 machine is hosting these servers has more than enough resources to support the 1000 or so people who've played so far.

I'm wondering if the matchmaking servers were quietly shut down. I spent over an hour searching for a match with 3 consoles (2 PS4s, 1 PS5) and they would never connect. The last major update was in April 2021.
