I got it. 

Followed this method from a reddit comment:

 

Hold down the button (TRIANGLE) to fire a projectile and it’ll launch a purple poison projectile. Land three in a row on your opponent in local versus and it will unlock the trophy.

No, but it's hard to do with a real opponent (even AI on Easy), 'cause they keep fighting and don't let you stack poison 3 times. I had to use 2 controllers after getting the core pack, so that my opponent would stay idle and I'd be able to stack the damn poison.

This doesn't work for me in the free version. I'm pretty sure I stacked triple poison. I held Y to shoot the purple poison projectile, did this three times in a row and the opponent's lifebar would turn more purple with each shot (up to three times). Even killed him once with that poison. Tried several times, no Trophy.

I've done it lots of time and didn't get the trophy (done it on ranked, and casual fight but no trophy too).

 

Local versus have to buy the pack right?

UPDATE: Today there's a new version of the game to download. After that, I could get this trophy.

yup....it even pops in practice mode

This trophy was fixed in the late August patch. Devs explained the game was trying to award the trophy to the victim instead of the Argagarg player.
