I've put together a video of a single no nonsense playthrough video for the following trophies:

 

The Nihilist - Renounce humankind.

Life is Suffering - Beat the game in obsidian dark form.

Forever Alone - Beat the game without ever bonding with a shell.

 

There is full commentary throughout this shell-less run. I'll give you tips all the way through.
