Complete the Suez mission in the Campaign

 

Dear PSNP Cheater Removal Team,

I met trophy glitch of “Guns at dawn” for ps3 edition battlefield 4. Although my PSNP is not affected, I want to reflect on this situation.

I shall have it when I have finished the mission called “Suez”. As well as getting this trophy, I will also get the trophy for clearing the campaign (because this is the last mission in the campaign). But for some unknown reason, I won the trophy for finishing the campaign, but not for finishing “Suez”. It makes my trophy time seem illogical, like cheating.

In order to find a solution and prove that I didn't cheat, I looked up Battlelog, and I found out that the glitch isn't common, but it does exist. I've listed a few posts that have the same problem below, as well as the time when the post's PSN trophy was awarded. “Guns at Dawn” was acquired much later than they finished the campaign, which should prove that they encountered the same bug as I did. The solution I also find is to delete the save data and complete the campaign again. And it looks like the bug is only in the PS3 version and there is no patch to fix it.

I hope it proves this trophy glitch does exist and it won't affect my PSN ranking.

This is a message I left earlier, just put it here as a reminder to other players who might encounter it.

I decided to hide BF4 in case someone hit me a few years later with this stupid EA bug, after all, it's an old game, and who knows when the Battlelog evidence I've provided will be gone.

Even though it took me a lot of time to complete the DLC trophy.

Hello, I am the person who reported this situation on your message board yesterday, and I need your help to testify this situation does exist, because the information I provided above will be invalid at any time (Battlefield 4's forum is very old, EA may shut it down at any time, by which time my evidence will be useless). It would be a shame if anyone was flagged for this bug.

I was finishing off the SP this morning, and can confirm the above information as correct. I completed "Suez" and initially got no trophy. I then completed the game which popped one of the endings trophies. Then I went back thru chapter select and replayed Suez and finally the trophy popped. Also I had my difficulty related trophies glitch on me my first time so I have an ending trophy before I had either "fish" "wolf" or "tombstone". I'm hoping I won't get flagged for that because that's some bs this campaign is broken in so many ways it's not even funny. Randomly the game has the chance to whip your entire save forcing a brand new play through. wack!
