As some of you might know i'm incredibly passionate about rhythm gaming, it's been my favourite genre of games ever since I started trophy hunting back in 2008. Back when Guitar Hero Metallica was first released I made it my goal to gain the platinum trophy for each of these games back to back as they were released. Recently i've been curious to see how far I can push this goal and now I want to try my best to 100% or platinum every single rhythm game on Playstation. There are some exceptions i'll be noting however, which are: 1. No now unobtainable 100% or platinums. As much as i'd like to play these, if I can't 100% them I will not put time into them for this challenge. 2. No yearly releases. So no Just Dance or Just Sing. The reason for this being that a lot of them are now unobtainable and a lot of them do not last long before server closures. 3. No Japanese music games (For now). For the simple reason that at the moment they will be very hard for me to get a hold of. This list will likely be updated as time goes on. Any game that has some element of rhythm I will consider to be a rhythm game and therefore part of this challenge. If there are any on my list that I am missing, please feel free to tell me below and I will add it. I like rhythm games but I am nowhere near as good. Do you plan to do PSVR games like Beat Saber or Pistol Whip eventually? I recently started toying around with dance mat and In The Groove and having great fun, but all I can in the term of trophies are simpler rhythm games like Hatsune Miku or Persona Dancing games. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There's a nice variety if you know what you're looking for. It is very tough. I have no idea where to put my feet, how to properly move with them, but it's all about practice and muscle memory so just have to keep trying. Absolutely, all characters low% is hands down the worst grind for a trophy i've ever done. It took my 5th run on at least my 8th character to get a clear. I have been itching to try it again, because I still think that guitar is pretty cool thing to know how to play. I watched a video on it and it is interesting. Apparently you have to move your body to match the silhouettes as they come closer to the screen. SlimSanta94 Posted September 25, 2020 Author Share Posted September 25, 2020 NEW PLATINUM! Conga Master Difficulty - 1/5 Enjoyment - 2/5 This is about as simple as it gets with this genre. This is related to music in the loosest way possible, it's only really included with this challenge because the story is music related. I can't say I had a good time with this game, it's a cool idea but I just feel like it's not fleshed out enough to be enjoyable. The game itself is incredibly easy and you could literally play it in your sleep. Unlocking characters is also very tedious, because you have to use a bonus game which is a randomiser wheel to unlock the characters. This doesn't sound bad in writing but the wheel itself is very inconsistent, you press X to stop the wheel and the arrow will never have the same amount of momentum as its stopping in any two attempts, which leads me to believe that you will only unlock characters when the game wants to give them to you. Overall, not a very pleasant experience and it's one i'm going to have to do again on PS Vita at some point, so that's something to look forward to.
