Can you buy a 12 months subscription without credit card or paypal?

Well I was wondering if I can buy a 12 months PS Now subscription (since its on sale right now for 45$ - US region) using only a 50$ gift card without a credit card or a PayPal account.. 

 

I've seen some threads on reddit saying it is possible for the 3 months and 12 months subscriptions and that only the one month requires a credit card..

 

So, if anyone actually tried this can you confirm if its true or not?..

This was a question that I've been asking around. I believe all of them said that credit/debit card isn't required for the 3-month and 12-month subscriptions.

You do not need a credit card or Paypal in order to purchase a 12 month subscription. The proper amount of funds in your PS wallet is enough.

I don't know if you've found the answer to this or not. I recently tried to sub to EA Play (1 month), and couldn't do it because it required a credit/debit card. However, I managed to sub to it by purchasing an EA Play 1-month gift card.

Sucks we don't have those over here then =/ I've only seen them for Xbox.

I really hope PlayStation change this policy one day.

 

Nonetheless, it is still worth it to subscribe to EA Play for a month. Just buy a 1-month EA Play gift card online, and redeem it on PSN. You get the amazing Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order if you're interested in it.

Might wait till I get a PS5 tho, now that they did a 60fps update for it.

Well, it's up to you, but the game ran okay on my standard PS4, and I was able to platinum it.
