Popular Post turbodream17
Here some useful tips I learned while playing. 1) Don't take too long to choose your starter. This is not Pokémon. You can easily find the other 8 in the wild in less than 10 hours of play. Do note that you can find the normal and electric Nexomon starter in the wild at the very beginning. They are rare (duh). 2) Money is (very) tight at the beginning. You should not hesitate to bactrack a lot. Do not waste your hard earned cash on healing. You will need it for Nexotraps. 3) Optional quests and trades are a good way to get good or exclusives items while saving money. Not all trades are fair though. Most available at the start are very easy to do. 4) Explore and talk to every npcs. Some are hilarious, some will give you free items. 5) Food seems pointless at the start, but it is quite useful. I wasted so many Nexotraps because I didn't use any at first. Buying or finding food is cheaper than buying extra Nexotraps. Food is also a better deal than crafting special elemental Nexotraps with your precious shards. Also, do not sell your shards to the stores. It is way better to use it to crat cores (equippable items that boost your creatures stats). Later on, you will get elemental whistles and secret sauces and your catch rate will go way up. 6) You should do the 1st story quest (ice mine) before exploring the map. You will get the power to activate teleporters as a reward. Very useful for cutting on the bactracking between areas. 7) I highly suggest that people go visit the tropical island as soon as possible because you can find almost all of the ultra rare starters there plus a ton of rare and mega rare Nexomon. You can fill 60+ Nexomon in a couple hours very easily this way. 8) The variety of creatures to catch in each zone is impressive. You should fight at least a couple of Nexomon on each new screen you explore. Each new screen from the same area most of the time have different Nexomon to catch. 9) Creatures level seems to go up only with the major quests you do (when you complete a major quest, the levels are ajusted). So if you are struggling, stop doing the main story for a while to grind. 10) Rematches with others tamers can fill your Nexopedia quickly (they will have evolved versions of their previous Nexomon) and can pay you decent money. They respawn quickly. 11) You should have a balanced team. I suggest one Nexomon of each of these types: Fire, Water, Plant, and Electric. For the last two spots you should pick one type between wind and mineral and one type between psychic and ghost. I personally prefer Mineral and Ghost. Don't bother with Normal. 12) In the storage, if you press square, you can check the rarity of your Nexomon. Most of the time, the rarer the creature, the better stats it has. IMHO, you should not waste your time raising common or uncommon Nexomon if you have rare one. Rarity goes like this: Common, uncommon, rare, mega rare, ultra rare, legendary.

Dangisuckatgamin
I say stack up on some potions and revives and a couple anti freezes before attempting the ice mine though lol. I went in sort of empty handed and got destroyed ??

I went in sort of empty handed and got destroyed I captured 90+ Nexomon before doing the first quest (capturing creatures is what I prefer to do in these kind of games lol). My electric Nexomon easily destroyed that boss. Potions and revives are nice, but ether is way more useful to have later on. I run out of stamina before I run out of health 9 times out of 10.
