Vanity Issues - Trophy Bug?

I named my nexomon like me but no trophy :(. Someone got similar problems? Or did I something wrong?

If you go to your "storage box" in a healing center you have the option to rename your nexomon. This way i got the trophy.

I had this exact same issue. The way I ended up getting it was naming the Nexomon the same as my player, but in all caps. This unlocked it without any trouble.

I did it that way as well and the trophy popped first time .
