scemopagliaccioh
Since I got the base game of Street Fighter 5 via plus, I was wondering if the 1 million money is cumulative, or I need to have that precise amount of fight money, locking me from buying new chars 'till I get the trophy? Edit: found out it's cumulative. Edited September 7, 2020 by scemopagliaccioh
JunPei_TGB
You can also track your progress from your fighting profile, it shows your total earned fight money and even detailly display money earn from every character..
Paul
It is accumulative. My advice is to not spend the Fight Money though, so you know when you have approximately 1,000,000 FM.

Oh, you definitely need to spend fm, otherwise you'll never get the trophy with the base 16, and, even with new chars it's still hard, you'd need 20 level 50 chars. Heh, fucking Capcom "locking" trophies behind a paywall, oh well, I was able to breeze survival on hard, if I get all the trophies except that, I'll buy the arcade version at a heavily discounted price. Tsundokuist
Priceless is a monster grind, I question it’s even reasonably possible now without buying the Champion Edition. For context, it’s the only trophy I need for the Platinum. I have the Champion Edition so I’ve completed Story and Demonstrations with all 40 characters then Survival on both Easy and Normal with all 40, Hard with 18, Extreme with 1 and I’m still only at 856,570 FM... I figure as of now I need to do Survival on Hard with all remaining 22 fighters and then Extreme with 7 to hit the 1M. Given Survival on Hard is 50 rounds and Extreme 100 I estimate that’s 30hrs+ of gameplay ahead of me just to get this one trophy... One bit of light at the end of the tunnel is ‘Dan’ is slated for release in “Winter” and if I wait for that then Story/Demos and Survival on Easy/Normal/Hard with him would spare me 5 runs on Extreme (about 6 or 7 hours since they take well over an hour each) but still, a long road for sure. EDIT: Forgot to say, make sure you pay attention to/complete the weekly missions/extra battles for additional FM, I only just started doing that but it would’ve saved a load of grind in the long run. Tsundokuist
I don’t think Trials give a load of FM once you factor FM comes from character levels and I’m fairly sure you need greater EXP amounts to level up as you climb up the character levels. e.g. even if you get a decent amount of FM from doing Trials early that just robs from how far EXP goes from Survival mode runs you’d have to do anyway. Example; At level 18 with Ryu (completed Story, Demos and Survival Easy/Normal) completing Hard Survival took me to level 23 (5k FM or 1k FM per level) but if I’d used Ken exclusively for online he’d be about level 29 and that same amount of EXP from a Survival Hard run would only take me to level 31 (so I’d get 2k FM, not the 5k I got from Ryu) My other issue with trials - although admittedly I only tried them for an hour or two - was I suck at them and I think you have to do all 10 for a character to get any FM. I could only manage to pull off 5-8 for each of the 4 characters I tried (Ryu, Ken, Sakura, Amuma - fairly similar move sets) so that seemingly gave me zero FM. My tip with the trials are that instead of button smashing, try to time those button presses frame perfectly. Then when you have completed all of them with one or two characters, the rest becomes much easier, although, there are some characters like M. Bison which you need to learn to use those charge attacks, but as you just practice and practice, future trials becomes much easier. I've done Trial no. 1 with all characters and some on trials no. 2 and I spent like 10-20 minutes per character depending on combos and how frame perfect they need to be. I am not try harding to plat this game because it becomes kinda boring in the end so I just do 1 complete survival run and 1 full trial per game session and then spend time with other games. Doing like this, there becomes those missions available which gives you FM which helps to achieve this trophy easily.
ninjagirl657
I have been grinding this trophy since the start, and it’s the last UR I’m after. I don’t know what the trials give, as I haven’t complete them yet. But from my working out, you need to get all 40 characters to level 25, to get the trophy from scratch. If you are doing this from scratch, do not use the demonstrations right away, it’s a waste. I have only use 1 for my characters and relied on doing the survival and playing online win or lose to level up. First off I brought the upgrade kit, so I could have access to all characters, nice to play Blanka again, miss playing this guy since SF 2. Here is my journey how I got my Main to level 30, with little effort. First complete the story, that’s 8 levels for 5 minutes or less. 2- complete survival easy - worth 5,000 exp. character will be level 12. Use 1 demo to get to level 13, they are only worth 1,000 exp per a demo. 3- Complete survival normal - worth 10,000 exp. You will be level 16 without the demo, with 1 demo you be level 17. 4- Go online or spend 250 fm on extra missions for 100 exp. online win is 100 exp, lose you get 24 experience. Get your character to level 20 with this method. Do not put the ads on, the 10fm, is not worth it. You win online, you get 50fm. 5- Complete survival hard - worth 20,000 exp. you will now be level 24, just go online or do the extra missions to get to level 25. 6- Complete survival extreme. - worth 40,000 exp. Your character is now level 30. That’s 30,000 fm for 1 character, just by doing the story and all survival modes. For the other 39 characters, you can skip doing extreme. With the crumbs you get from Capcom extra missions, it will help to ease the grind. Currently I am at 531,760 fm, that’s with doing all 40 characters survival easy and the story. My main is level 30 by doing all survival, I havn’t even touch hard or normal for the other characters yet and I’ve only been playing for 2 weeks, just by playing the game. I don’t care if I get the plat or not, i’m Just having fun, that I can finally play this game. Hope this helps anyone going for this trophy, wish I was able to play this 4 years ago, would have the trophy with less work. Good luck everybody, your in for a long grind.
