Overtake 2 teams without being passed

Heyho,

There are these missions you have to do during races in story mode to collect new items. Most of them are easy but there's one Mission I didn't get done even once. 

"Overtake 2 teams without being passed" 

What am I supposed to do exactly here?

From my co-written supplement on .org :

 

Overtake 2 teams without being passed:

Overtaking 2 teams by using a Dash Start doesn't count towards this mission so instead, start normally and use tricks and Boost Pads to increase your speed enough to overtake 2 other teams without them passing you in the process.

Was that your guide on .org I used? 

I used it thank you Just an idea to pass on, to get "hit everyone in one blast" - at the start of the race I waited until 0. Back up a little and hit everyone with once round of O blast ammo. Worked every time without having to worry about weapons.

Yes, it is . Also, what's "O blast ammo"?

My bad didn't read the tutorials so don't know the terms. Your regular water pistol using O button. 

 

You get enough rounds to hit all 5 opponents before having to reload. If you hit all in the same round it counts.
