Just started this as well and you are not kidding; you are going to have to replay the solo content over and over and over again to get some of these grindy trophies. Gameplay is fun but playing the same quests repeatedly is going to be banging-my-head-against-the-wall grind. Does anyone know if any other card sets are available after completing the different campaigns or is it just the core set?
Popular Post Twiton
Howdy all. Here's the rundown on my situation: - The Guide was fully written, but lacked formatting. When I was about to format all of it, I got swept into some other writing projects and then had a depressive episode. - I added multiple editors, yet none have touched the guide. They mostly just wanted to act as proofreaders, they did a good job in doing so. - I shall be uploading all of the text from the guide here. You Cannot PassTo get this Trophy, you need to defeat 100 Villains with the Gandalf Ally Neutral card. Now, there's several things to consider:- Is what I am defeating a Villain?Villains are distinguished visually by silver wings on their playing field icon, similar to the gold wings your Hero cards have. They are often Quest related objectives (Defeat to proceed). Sauron's Gallery also has an Enemy Type filter for them. They will not attack a Guarding Character if it will defeat them (This can sometimes not be the case if a unit has Counter or a conditional damage buff upon being attacked.)- Gandalf is fleeting, how can I defeat more than 1 Villain with him? There's a Fellowship Set card called Narya, it's a Unique Neutral Special Attachment card that Gandalf and other Istar units can use. This removes Fleeting, while Gandalf has it equipped. After this, make sure Gandalf stays alive. (Block attachments, using Guard on other characters, Restore/Gain Health cards and using your Heroes to tank damage.)- A Villain is in play, but I haven't played Gandalf yet, what do I do?You can stall fatally wounded Villains by using Guard, which stops them attacking if they're not Ranged or Stealth. Do this until you draw Gandalf (And Narya if you're using it to keep him in play) and have enough Resources to play him. To avoid the 5 Resource cost you should unlock Elf-magic before trying to grind this.- Gandalf can deal 3 damage on Arrival, will this count towards progress? This isn't confirmed, but it's confirmed this counts as a form of attacking an Enemy. That means it may be similar to a damage dealing Event card, which wouldn't count as Gandalf defeating them. For the sake of safety and minimizing wasted time, you should never use that arrival effect to finish them, only Minions.- Villains are always spawned in Mirror of Galadriel, why not use this Quest to get both this and Istari quickly?Because it's a single Villain per Quest in that case. MoG is also randomized, so you have no real control over what deck you're going against. There's also no Travel Locations, which are another major grind objective to reach, so you'll be minimizing your Trophy Progress. With that out of the way, your best bet for getting this Trophy is Campaign 1 Quest 2, on Narrative. This quest has 4 Villains, 3 of them are in your first Location. Make sure Gandalf is in your deck (including Narya if there's more than 1 Villain to defeat) and try to make sure you have a way to either heal Gandalf or attachments to make him more effective. (Dagger of Westernesse in particular.)This Trophy is not based on a per Quest basis, it's gained for each Villain defeated during sessions. You do not need to finish a Quest for the progress of that defeated Villain to count, so it can be unlocked mid-Quest.PacifistThe conditions for this Trophy are rather simple, but easy to fumble. The easiest way to get it is the Tutorial Quest "Nuanced Concepts", since you won't be facing any Villains (Villains will not attack if doing so will defeat them) and you aren't facing too many enemies. In order to defeat enemies, without attacking them, use Defense () on your Characters. This works best on this Quest, also, because there are no Ranged enemies (Ranged enemies can't be damaged by Guard or Counter) or Stealth enemies. (Stealth enemies can attack Guard characters without being damaged.)To be safe, do not use Events on enemies that do damage or affect them. Stick to the Objective/Goal, you'll get the Trophy as soon as you finish this Quest. If not, you may have dealt damage to an Enemy without using Guard. MisanthropeThis is the final Trophy for the No Ally Quest Completion. There's a lot to consider for this one, so we should start with the main issues:- How would I win with no Allies? As usual, if you're grinding for Trophy conditions, you'll be best of playing on Narrative and working on Trophies after getting every card that you can. With all these cards, you'll be able to make a 3 Hero Focus Deck with Attachments & Events. You only need 1 Hero alive and in play in order to complete a Quest, so don't worry about having a Hero being defeated (especially with the House of Healing Lore Event) as long as you can still complete the Quest. Heroes can tank damage with Guard & Defense, they can have their stats buffed by cards in order to fulfill Objectives or defeat enemies and they can use Hero Only cards to increase their effectiveness.- What about Fate/Quest summoned Allies? Do they count?Yes (Confirmed by sudsywolf on Steam https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1529877826)As soon as an Ally is played on your side of the field, even if it's not in your direct control, then you will not get progress on this Trophy for that Quest. Plan ahead, find out how specific Quests play out, so you can avoid Quests nullifying your progress.- 500 Quests? Why?Because it's one of the Steam Achievement Trophies that, at the launch of this game, was possible with the current cards. That's a daunting number, there's no getting around it, so this is something you should consider before committing to getting the Platinum. With that out of the way, you'll be wanting to stick to Quests that do not Summon Allies into play. There are a few of these, but if you are going to want to do something short and simple then Campaign 1 Chapter 1 is your best bet. Besides that, you can try scoping out other Quests to find which works best for you. Your Heroes can be defeated and brought back into play with House of Healing. The Steam Guide posted above can provide some other details, since all Platforms this game is on share Cross-Play and updates are across platforms.Conqueror of FateThis is unlocked upon completing The King of Carrion for the first time. This Encounter is an overall higher difficulty Quest with multiple locations and challenges. Your best bet is balancing your deck for Willpower, Attack and Block/Guard, as well as using Fate Events. If you're having issues, try watching videos online of the Encounter in order to understand what sort of conditions you'll need to fulfill in each location. Co-op can also be helpful, but this raises the Objective/Hazard & Health values of Sauron's units. Sauron gets more Resources per round and you require double the Fate points to achieve Fate Events. So, make sure you and your Co-op Partner can effectively communicate. (The LOTR ACG Discord can help with this)Rise from the ShadowsThis Trophy will automatically unlock when you complete Quest 5 of The Shadow's Fall Campaign. This Campaign features new mechanics, but in most ways it's similar to The Shadow's Reach. If you're having difficulty with this Campaign, try using Co-op. (You can find sessions in the LOTR ACG Discord)Fellowship of the RingThis Trophy is the final in the "No Heroes Defeated" Trophies, so it will be the one with all the info regarding the lower tier Trophies with the same conditions:- Can I use House of Healing to bring back a Hero, or will this count as a Hero being defeated?Unconfirmed, to be safe it's advised not to. (Unfortunately this is due to how hard it is to record the conditions of progress for most of the Trophies.)- I'm not able to complete Quests without my Heroes being defeated, how can I get this?Make sure you're playing on a lower difficulty (Narrative) and try the Tutorial Quests. (Nuanced Concepts is considered the easiest to get most Trophies in.) In other Quests, try using a mix of Spheres, Restore and Block cards can heavily extend the duration your Heroes can tank damage for.As stated above, Tutorial Quests are the easiest way to get this Trophy without too much hassle. The fastest way is repeating completed Quests, with your understanding of them helping you, or Mirror of Galadriel, which is a single location Quest. Make sure your Deck has a way to keep your Heroes alive, such as Guard Allies and Restore/Gain cards.Lost in Moria(This Trophy's progress does not stack with the 2 Heroes Defeated Trophies. You will only get progress for those Trophies alone if 2 Heroes are defeated in a completed Quest.)This Trophy requires 1 Hero to be defeated when completing a Quest, to earn progress towards it. Simple enough but, due to the particular conditions of the Trophy, you must make sure to consider how you complete each Quest. Here's a list of some possible things to avoid when earning this Trophy: Playing any Quest that forces you to only have specific amounts of Heroes. (Such as the first Tutorial Quest) Using House of Healing. (Unconfirmed, but it's safe to assume this affects Trophy progress) Quests that you won't be able to control the last Location/Quest Completion Objective. (You might not be able to get a Hero defeated before completing the Quest) Co-op. (Your progress might not count if your partner also has a Hero defeated) Playing on Adventure/Challenge. (You'll be less in control of situations/more prone to a fail-lock during Quests) Some Heroes are more easy to get defeated, such as those with lower Health, but one in particular can improve your success after their defeat. Gimli and his Hero Reward card, Three Golden Hairs. You can use Defense to focus attacks onto a Hero that you want defeated before completing the Quest.Mirror of Galadriel only has 1 location, but due to the amount of possible cards Sauron is given or the Villain that is spawned, you might prefer the Tutorial Quests or Campaign 1 Quests to get this Trophy. Suicidal(This Trophy's progress does not stack with the 1 Hero Defeated Trophies. You will only get progress for this Trophy when 2 Heroes are defeated, when you complete any Quest.)This Trophy requires you to have 2 Heroes defeated before completing a Quest to earn progress in it. Currently, there are no Quests that let you have more than 3 Heroes in play, so this means completing the Quest with only 1 Hero left in play. There's various things that could possibly invalidate progress in this Trophy, so make sure to consider those when aiming to earn it. Here's a list of things to avoid when grinding for this Trophy: Playing any Quest that forces you to only have specific amounts of Heroes. (Such as the first Tutorial Quest) Using House of Healing. (Unconfirmed, but it's safe to assume this affects Trophy progress) Quests that you won't be able to control the last Location/Quest Completion Objective. You can use Defense to focus attacks onto a Hero that you want defeated before completing the Quest.Mirror of Galadriel only has 1 location, but due to the amount of possible cards Sauron is given or the Villain that is spawned, you might prefer the Tutorial Quests or Campaign 1 Quests to get this Trophy.Pioneer ((ATTENTION, THE FASTEST WAY TO GET THIS TROPHY IS NOW FORDS OF ISEN ADVENTURE MODE!!! YOU GET TONS OF TRAVELS, DAMAGE AND OTHER SUCH PROGRESS TO TROPHIES Getting progress for this Trophy is easy enough, since Travel as a mechanic is included in almost every Quest, but earning significant amounts of progress quickly is difficult, because the average amount of Locations for any Quest is between 3 and 5. Some Quest Locations can be cleared in a single round on Narrative with cards like Dwarven Peacekeeping, Star Brooch, Gimli and None Return. C1Q1's first Location simply requires you to clear all enemy units in play or resolve a single Objective, making it suitable for earning progress in this Trophy. As soon as you Travel to the next Location, press and select RESTART QUEST.(Confirmed: This counts Trophy progress based on each Travel, so you don't have to complete a Quest after traveling for your Travels to count.)Mirror of Galadriel and some Tutorial Quests have no Locations to Travel to.Well-traveledThis Trophy requires you to complete each Quest in both of these Campaigns with 6 different Heroes. (THIS TROPHY USED TO HAVE TRACKING, IT NO LONGER DOES UNTIL THE PROGRESS MENU IS ADDED BACK)The Greatest AdventureThis Trophy is one of the most straight-forward ones to make progress in, since it counts all Quests that use decks (not the deck-building tutorial, but all other tutorial Quests count), but if you are specifically wanting to complete Quests with this Trophy you have options:- Tutorial Quests (Simple, but have multiple locations and you have to use the tutorial deck. You will also be forced to perform tutorial actions in order to proceed through these Quests. Quest 5 in the tutorial gives you freedom of choice in regards to what you do and how you do it. You'll get to choose your deck and you will get to choose what you do. The only downside, possibly, is how many locations you have to do.)- Mirror of Galadriel (A single location Quest that cycles Sauron's Deck, the Villain you have to defeat and the fate/threat event outcomes. In theory, you can easily beat the Quest in less rounds than you would the other Campaign Quests. In practice, the randomness can often be more challenging than you'd expect and it might lead to you failing to complete a Quest. It depends largely on how effectively you can handle the changing situation of the board, especially with some Villains requiring Willpower units to defeat. Still, due to the constant cycling of decks, this Quest is likely the best way to make progress in all of the other Trophies at once. (Except the Travel Trophies.))- Campaign 1 Chapter 2 (This Quest is only 3 Locations and you start with a Stalwart 4 Attack Ally. You can beat it with any deck, since it's a first expansion Quest, and it's useful for the You Cannot Pass Trophy. (See that Trophy for more info.)These Quests are likely what you'll use to get most Quest Completion related Trophies, so consider them when you have those in mind.NOTE: As stated earlier, this Trophy is the easiest to make progress in. But, if you're trying to get the Platinum, it's the last Trophy you can get that doesn't require you to beat Quests under specific conditions. If you earn this Trophy, before getting those other Trophies, you'll need to make sure each further Quest you complete fulfills one of the unearned Trophy conditions. Otherwise, you'll be missing out on grind progress. All other Quest related Trophies are stackable in progress towards this one.ExecutionerDue to the un-trackable nature of almost every Trophy in this list, it's hard to know what counts towards Trophy Progress. No where is that more clear than this Trophy, since damage can be done in a variety of ways, conditions and sources. This list will go over what is known, for sure: Direct Unit Attack Action damage counts. Damage inflicted by Guard does not. Damage is only considered based on how much you can do in an attack. No excess damage is counted. Cards with less health than the attack will only count for how much health the card has in terms of damage progress. Co-op and Higher Difficulties will give more health values to your enemies. This means you can optimize the amount of damage dealt per Quest. If you can control Threat, you can keep passing rounds in Quests to get more enemies played by Sauron. This will let you keep dealing damage. But, now the stuff we do not know: Damage done by Event cards Damage done by Preparation cards Damage done by Fate Events Damage done by Co-op Partners Damage done by Arrival effects Damage done during failed/disconnected Quest sessions Damage done by Sauron's own cards (some of which damage their own cards) With this in mind it's rather clear why this is one of the rarest Trophies, on this list, to get. In terms of getting damage done, Tactics cards are typically the best for raw damage and Spirit can grant units Stalwart.ProfligateResources (Not Power, which is the term used for activatable card specific abilities) are given to the player at the start of each round. Depending on the difficulty setting, Quest or cards used, you get typically 3 each round. This can be increased through various means, but the condition for this Trophy is spending those Resources. You can do this through Unit Powers or playing cards. (It's unconfirmed if losing Resources due to Sauron's cards counts as progress towards this.)Ways to increase your Resources gained: Frodo - Spirit Hero card, Achieve (Using this Character to resolve a Hazard/Objective) gains 1 Resource Adventuring Hobbit - Leadership Ally card, grants 1 Resource for any Hazards resolved while this card is in play Bill the Pony - Leadership Ally Unique card, grants 1 Resource on Upkeep (can be played for 0 cost if Sam's Hero Card is in play. This works for Co-op Partner's Sam too) Cleverness - Spirit Event card, allows you to steal 1 Resource from Sauron if Sauron has 3 or more Resources Dwarven Warrior - Leadership Ally card, grants 1 Resource for each Ally you have in play (does not include Co-op Allies) Erestor - Leadership Ally Unique card, grants 1 Resource through their Power (Discard 1 card from your hand) Gaining Strength - Leadership Event card, grants 1 Resource (Costs no Resources, unless affected otherwise) Investigator's Cunning - Lore Event card, grants 2 Resources if there are no Treachery cards in play or in Sauron's hand (costs 1 Resource to play, unless affected otherwise) Legacy of the North - Leadership Event card, grants 1 Resource for each Dunadan character in play (Only your own characters, your Co-op Partner will also get Resources based on their own characters) Resourcefulness - Lore Event card, grants 2 Resources the next time you draw a card during the Action Phase (does not include the cards you draw at the start of each round) Sword of Numenor - Leadership Attachment card, grants 1 Resource when the character triggers Vanquish (landing a fatal blow and defeating a character with this character) Taking Initiative - Leadership Preparation Event card, grants Resources equal to the cost of the next Event or Noldor character you play Traffic from Dale - Leadership Event card, grants 1 Resource for each character that has an Attachment (limit 5 Resources) Zigil Miner - Leadership Ally card, grants 1 Resource using the Character Power Since you won't be able to spend excess Resources upon completing a Quest, if you have no way to do so, consider cards that you can keep using to spend Resources: Aragorn Barliman Butterbur & Gaffer Gamgee, can both be used to keep adding and drawing cards from your deck Dunedain Trap Dwarven Sellsword Erebor Hammersmith Longbeard Mapmaker Shire Brewmaster Stalker Creatures appear in nearly every Quest. (Except in C3, which has the least Creature Locations) You'll encounter the easiest to defeat Creatures on Narrative Play Style. Challenge Mode, Co-op Mode and Co-op Challenge Mode will allow Sauron to play more Creatures (but harder to defeat Creatures).Unconfirmed ways that might invalidate Trophy Progress: Creature defeats caused by fatal blows from Co-op Partner characters/cards Creature defeats caused directly by Event/Preparation cards Creature defeats caused directly by Arrival cards Creature defeats caused directly by Fate Events Creature defeats caused directly by Sauron's own actions Creature defeats caused directly by Guard/Counter damage The Three HuntersWhile this Trophy sounds simple, it can be difficult during your first dozen Quests. That is because these three Heroes don't synergize entirely. That's not to say it is impossible to do 10 Quests with the baseline cards and them, but you'll be hampering yourself if you try that straight out of the gate. Aragorn's Willpower and Power (Can be readied and granted a Surge action, making it useful for combos) allows him to clear Objectives/Hazards easily, while his Dúnadan trait lets him use Ranger's Cloak to great effect. Gimli can become incredibly damaging with Dwarven Axe, Raiment of War and Enduring Valor, but make sure to take full advantage of his +1 Attack after any Character is damaged. Legolas can be give Elven Blade, since he is Silvan. If you have unlocked their Hero Award cards, you can give Legolas the Attachment A Good Deed and give Aragorn the Attachment Sword that was Broken. It is not confirmed that all 3 Heroes have to stay undefeated for the Quest completion for it to count as Trophy progress. Marked by FateThis Trophy will automatically unlock when you complete Quest 5 for the Campaign of The Shadow's Reach. This Campaign can be daunting for new players, so it's advised to fully complete the Tutorial Quests, use Narrative Play Style and experiment with the Pre-Built decks first. If you're still having difficulty, either try replaying earlier Quests (Tutorial Quest 5 or any C1 Quests you have already completed) or Co-op mode.UNCONFIRMED: Co-op mode will not grant you the Trophy if you are completing Quest 5 without completing the other 4 Quests. Scribe of GondorYou will get progress for this Trophy for any cards you draw after any Quest starts. (This does not include the 5 cards you draw at the start, or any of the cards you mulligan at the start)You can increase the amount of progress by: Playing on Narrative (2 cards drawn at the start of each round after initial setup) Using the cards; Barliman Butterbur, Erebor Record Keeper, Gaffer Gamgee, Gandalf, Drinking Song, Frodo's Intuition, Heed the Dream, Mithrandir's Advice, Hobbit Pipe and Three Golden Hairs. Using Faramir, which lets you draw 1 card each time you get Vanquish with them. Making sure you've drawn all of your cards before completing a Quest. You Shall Pass For this Trophy, make sure the board has no Enemy Units before using Travel. This does not include Objectives and Hazards.Remember, after completing a Location's goal, you can Travel whenever the board has no Enemy Units even if Sauron still has Resources. If you're having difficulty with this: Change to Narrative. Use Attachments to increase Attack, grant Stalwart or Unexpected Courage. Use Tactics or Leadership Sphere decks to increase the possible amount of attacks you can make each round. Co-op with a Partner, allowing you to focus on damage and board clearing Events. (Unconfirmed if Co-op affects this in any way) Fly, You FoolsYou must Travel 100 times with 1 Enemy Unit still in play to earn progress for this Trophy. Enemies that are left in play and are not exhausted, before you Travel, will attack any available units they can before exhausting. (unless not possible due to Block/Guarding Units)The risk of this can be avoided by making sure all Enemy Units are exhausted before you Travel, using Block to prevent 1 Attack enemies attacking, using Guard to keep the damage away from low Health Units and using Forest Snare/Dúnedain Trap. The easiest Quest to do this would be C1Q1, with high enough Willpower to clear the Objectives in 2 Locations, using Travel on both Locations, then use RESTART QUEST to do it all over again. Tolo, Govan VenThis simply requires you to create 9 custom decks. You can create custom decks in the Decks Menu from the Main Menu. For this Trophy, you might possibly not get progress counted for:- Using the duplicate deck function to make copies of decks- Not filling the decks entirely with 30 cards and 3 Heroes- Not giving the deck a nameDeck Building is one of the Tutorial Quests, if you'd like a guide on how to make custom decks. HoarderFor progress in this Trophy, make sure you have at least 1 Resource in reserve at the end of each round. (Before you End Phase or run out of possible actions)If you're having issues with maintaining a reserve of Resources, check the Profligate Trophy Guide section on how to gain Resources, change to Narrative or balance your deck for Resource gain/cost. There are a few cards, such as Elf Magic and Reinforcements, that can help reduce the amount of Resources you spend during a Quest.Unconfirmed: This also counts for when you're using Travel with at least 1 Resource. Phial of GaladrielThis Trophy requires you to use an Ally/Hero card Power, which is done by pressing while you have a Unit selected with your cursor and then pressing . Not all units have/can get access to this function, meaning if you're specifically aiming for progress in this Trophy you'll need to consider how many Powers you can use per round. A Unit's Power can only be used once per round, unless stated otherwise. Some Heroes have Powers you can activate: Aragorn: if Aragorn is Exhausted and you have at least 1 Resource, you can activate his Power to Ready him with a Surge Action. Fredegar Bolger: Grants Guard to 1 Character for 1 round. Merry: Can only be used when there's an Enemy in play with Guard active. Removes any active Guard from all Enemies for that round. Adds 2 Threat and decreases the Attack of all Enemies with Guard in play by 1. Rossiel: Recovers 1 of your non-unique Allies, grants a Surge Action the next time you play an Ally during that round. Tom Took: The next time an Enemy Unit attacks during that round, negate the damage. Elrond: Vilya (Hero Award card) allows you to spend 3 Fate, for a free action, to grant you Surge Actions each time you play any Events for that round. Only while attached. Besides these, there are various Allies with Power abilities that you can include in your deck to quickly gain progress in this Trophy. Some are unlocked through Hero Awards, such as Shire Brewmaster and Quickbeam. IstariThis Trophy simply requires you to complete 100 Quests with Gandalf being played, at any point before completing the Quest. Gandalf can be defeated before the Quest ends, it will still count towards your progress if you've played him. Gandalf is a 5 cost unique neutral card, but Elf Magic can reduce this to 0. Reinforcements can not summon Gandalf, since he is a unique card.(This may not count if your Co-op Partner is the one to play him, so make sure you're the one to play him during Co-op sessions, or play him after their Gandalf is defeated/removed from play.) StriderObjectives are resolved using Willpower, you'll have them explained in the Tutorial. To get the fastest progress in this Trophy, you'll want to play on Narrative Play Style. (This reduces the Willpower amount required to resolve most Objectives.)Unconfirmed Fast Trophy Method:If Hazards, a sub-type Objective, are included in this Trophy progress (unconfirmed) then C2Q2 is the easiest way to earn this Trophy. The first Location of this Quest has an infinite amount of 3 value Hazards that will keep spawning while the Location Objectives are not resolved. If you have Glorfindel and Health Restore Allies/Heroes, you can remain in this Quest Location indefinitely. (unless Sauron finds a way to prevent you restoring health to Glorfindel, who reduces Threat if he's damaged during a round) Ungoliant FoeSpiders appear in Campaign 1, Tutorial Quests and Mirror of Galadriel. You'll encounter the easiest to defeat Spiders on Narrative Play Style. Challenge Mode, Co-op Mode and Co-op Challenge Mode will allow Sauron to play more Spiders. (but harder to defeat Spiders)Unconfirmed ways that might invalidate Trophy Progress: Spider defeats caused by fatal blows from Co-op Partner characters/cards Spider defeats caused directly by Event/Preparation cards Spider defeats caused directly by Arrival cards Spider defeats caused directly by Fate Events Spider defeats caused directly by Sauron's own actions Spider defeats caused directly by Guard/Counter damage C1Q2's final Location has a Villain that summons Spiders at the end of each round. As long as you keep the Villain in play, you can use this location to consistently defeat Spiders. Foe-hammerOrcs appear in Campaign 1 & 2, Encounter 2 and Mirror of Galadriel. You'll encounter the easiest to defeat Orcs on Narrative Play Style. Challenge Mode, Co-op Mode and Co-op Challenge Mode will allow Sauron to play more Orcs (but harder to defeat Orcs).Unconfirmed ways that might invalidate Trophy Progress: Orc defeats caused by fatal blows from Co-op Partner characters/cards Orc defeats caused directly by Event/Preparation cards Orc defeats caused directly by Arrival cards Orc defeats caused directly by Fate Events Orc defeats caused directly by Sauron's own actions Orc defeats caused directly by Guard/Counter damage The 3rd Location of C2Q4 has an infinite amount of summoning Orcs, so if you can maintain your Threat and Health in this Location you'll get a lot of Orc defeats here. The Journey BeginsYou will unlock this Trophy as soon as you complete your first Quest. This includes the Tutorial Quests, which will explain game rules and mechanics as you do them. pewiha
Nowadays you can unlock Glamdring and give it Gandalf as a weapon, boost his attack and had the same trait as Narya. You can unlock it in MoG on expert difficulty of you beat the Balrog with Gandalf. If you can get it, you can use the Star Brooch with Gandalf and attack twice.

Indeed, this makes things a lot easier for the Achievement and for making Gandalf + Radaghast viable! On 18/08/2021 at 10:11 AM, Deadly_Ha_Ha said: Game's on sale, you know I'll be picking it up! Studfox
Thanks again for the above @Twiton! For anybody still slogging through this grind I found tutorial quest 3 “Nuanced concepts” a great place to grind the power and Gandalf trophy Istari (Summon Gandalf 100 times) and Phial of Galadriel (use a power 1,000 times). 2 heros have powers that can be used every turn and you are guaranteed a Gandalf card 2 rounds after traveling. (The quest itself is also rather quick albeit annoying to get through the tutorial messages.)
mrmivo
It’s now late 2022. Is the plat still obtainable and is the game largely bug-free? I read older news that the studio went out of business and/or support was dropped, but since there are no online trophies, this shouldn’t affect anything.

As far as I remember, the plat is obtainable and the game is bug free BUT the grind for the platinum is easily upwards of 300+ hours so buyer beware
