Subscribed, would love more videos like this. Severed and Minit in particular are really good.

Thanks a million! More planned and in the works! We are going to have a mix of videos like this and more casual trophy-centric discussions.

Great vid, reminded me I have to play Donut County sometime.

Another two ezpz games that stood out to me are:

ICEY

The Deadly Tower of Monsters

Go play them, if you haven't yet.

Definitely worth a play, it can regularly be picked up super cheap too!

I played The Deadly Tower of Monsters but ICEY is new to me, it looks awesome! Not appearing on the PS store here in Europe however...

Except it took me 4 nights to finish this one as I kept falling asleep from the fantastic and super chilled music in the stages. 1f602.png

The music is something else. When I was putting together the video I remembered how much I loved the soundtrack, just listened to it on repeat!

Sometimes these quick games in between longer ones can leave a lasting impression, which is what inspired me to make this video :)

I think when people see your title, they think for AAA games. When i read title the words "games worth playing" i immedeately associated with Marvel's Spider-Man, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last of Us 2 these are my Top 3 games for ps4 and they happened to be Easy games with easy platinums. The list you've chosed is terrible, no game from there is "worth playing". :) In addition i can add that Marvel's Spider-Man has great DLC, Horizon Zero Dawn has great DLC too, The Last of Us 2 doesn't have DLC (it's good idea though) but The Last of Us 1 DLC was also great. Not many games have good DLC, one of the series that has great DLCs is Borderlands. I still haven't played the four Borderlands 3 DLCs, but i bet they are very good. So i think Marvel's Spider-Man takes 26 hours for the platinum, Horizon Zero Dawn could take 22 or 30 hours depending on skill and if i can remember right The Last of Us 2 took me around 60 hours. Hey, i'm just sharing opinion here, if the topic was just 10 easy platinums from games worth playing the things i wrote were going to be very correct. But as the title says Quick and Easy, not just Easy i will need to think about other games. :)

OK so i'm now gonna write a few titles, that i think they are quick and easy platinums and they are worth playing, so here i go:

Cybarian: The Time Travelling Warrior

Pixel Devil and the Broken Cartridge

Foxy Land 1

Refunct

Mecho Tales

Sea of Solitude (can took 3-5 hours following a guide)

Rime

Goat Simulator

Teslagrad

The Order 1886 (can be done easily in 5-7 hours)

And i'm sorry for the strong criticism about your list. I actually like Virginia, Blackwood Crossing and Aer - Memories of Old.

@N1NJ4_V4MP1R3, i recommend Sea of Solitude and Rime both games are like Aer - Memories of Old.

Sorry that you didn’t like the list! What I was going for here was quick platinums, rather than AAA games that usually take 20+ hours minimum. The longest game on this list is Severed and it can be platinumed in less than 6 hours.

I stand behind all the games I put on the list though, I know not everyone will agree but I certainly think they are all worth playing :)

Having a list of AAA games that practically everybody here has heard about would be pretty damn boring. Anybody and their girlfriend could bring up Horizon Zero Dawn and Marvel’s Spider-Man. That is overly formulaic. You can throw in Days Gone and Ghosts of Tsushima, since they are also easy.

This list actually has some variety, and aren’t games that everyone has heard. Severed I can vouch for because it was one of the better games for the PS Vita. There is one particular fight that is tough, but it’s otherwise very manageable.

ICEY was originally only released in the Hong Kong PSN store, but then it came to NA stores. It hasn't been released in the EU yet though.

Yeah I know the fight you mean! I think the game starts off a lot harder too, because you can struggle to heal and you won’t be used to fighting multiple enemies at a time!

Thanks for your comment also, that’s exactly what I was going with for this list, as I mentioned in the OP, I’d class these games as ‘hidden gems’ for the most part.

Hey everyone,

I just published a video with some of my personal picks for easy and quick platinums that are from actually good games (critical and personal opinion). I have the plat for all the games in the list so I know how little effort is required for each plat :)

I’d class the games as ‘hidden gems’, not too many players for Each game, bar game number 1, which still has a relatively small player base.

Let me know what you think. I made this list because I’m always on the lookout for similar games with good experiences and easy lists, I’d be interested to hear any other suggestions.

Great video.

Invisible Hours is a great period piece murder mystery that takes under 8 hours to platinum. It was originally for VR only but they patched in the option to play on a TV and it works fine. There's been a murder on a remote island manor. You are an invisible, omniscient viewer who can follow any of the suspects or the detective as they react to the murder and spread about the house scheming. You can stop time, rewind time (within limits), shift perspectives, etc. It's kind of like a being able to walk around in the middle of a 1 hour play that spans the entire house. Simply play through following each of the characters and then do clean-up grabbing any collectibles you missed.

I really liked Severed but i must be the only one who didnt understand the hype around Undertale. I beat it...0 desire to ever play it again to see the different outcomes.

I really enjoyed Donut County. The fact that the aim is to swallow everything up as the hole gets bigger, i don’t know why but it’s satisfying 1f602.png

You should check out the Katamari games

Not the only one. I couldn't even finish Undertale it was so awful. Story didn't make sense and I couldn't get into it at all. :dunno:

Good list, the one's I have beaten I would all agree with. I did enjoy undertale somewhat, not sure if it is a # 1 though personally. Only ones I would add are a few I am working on now. Seasons after Fall and Untitled Goose Game. Seasons may not be higher on the metacritc but has that same art style like Gris. Untitled is just a lot of fun, has a high score, and is even gtting a new upate.

I just looked this up, can’t believe I missed it. It looks great and I do have the VR for it so I’ll have to pick it up. Thanks :)

I definitely didn’t like the trophy requirements, that’s for sure :P I have to say, a pacifist playthrough is a lot of fun because of the dialogue but I completely understand it wouldn’t be for everyone!

I often see Seasons on sale but didn’t pick it up because of the reviews. I’ll check a few more videos reviews maybe. Untitled Goose Game is on my wish list :)

Ya, it's by Tequila Works, the same dev who did Rime from your video. Another game they worked on you might enjoy is the The Sexy Brutale. A murder puzzle game with a Groundhog Day mechanic. Several guests to a masquerade ball at a casino have been targeted for assassination, if you fail to protect them and one of them dies, the time loop resets and you get another chance. It's also an 8ish hour plat.
