It's possible. But quite hard. It was like this in the original game too. Nice to know they didn't change it.

Reminds me of the Parcour in Titanfall 2. People these days can't  deal with challenges to earn their platinum trophies.

And the funny thing is run the gauntlet in titanfall 2 wasnt that bad, took maybe 10 retries👍 i would of been emberrassed if i put up shareplay session for a challange like😂

 

Aswell with Resident evil 2, the gas station challange, and bf1 shooting those planes down in the campaign. All these challenges needs is practice. If the person cant get it. The trophy simply is not for that person. So using shareplay where another person gets the trophy for you,thats cheating aswell👍 in my opinion m8👍

Playing the original as a child i could never get past the race mission. I replayed and beated the game back in 2014 and didn't have much of an issue, sure it took a couple of tries but nothing close to impossible as some people say.

I remember seeing the same threads back in the day when the game came out. I was hoping they wouldn't make it easier. It's not that difficult.

I'm a little relieved to hear that, actually. I don't remember much from this game aside from it being my gateway drug into '30s jazz (specifically, Maestro Reinhardt) and the race mission stuff making me rage quit the game for 15 years and counting 😂

It will take a few rounds to get used to the car handling, yes. But it's completely possible. Just make sure you are at least in 5th place after the first crash in the banked turn, if you aren't I'd suggest to restart the checkpoint so you don't lose time and get frustrated. Keep in mind that you can cut shamelessly on the grass of the two turns after the 180° turn. Even if you're not in first place on the last round the AI might help you by crashing into the wall. The left-right-turn-thingy where you can drive diagonally and the big banked turn right before the start/finish line are the places where they crash the most, just make sure to avoid a collision.

Just completed the race on classic. Took me around 2 hours of trying.

 

The first 4 turns Are the most important, if you are second on them, keep going. The first place eventually crashes on 2nd or sometimes on 3rd lap.

You screwed up your chance to get the Classic difficulty if you did that. You can't switch the difficulty at all while playing Classic, or it voids the trophy. Yes, you can still get the "Completed the game on Easy, Medium, or Hard Difficulty," but you won't get the Classic difficulty, if you changed the difficulty settings.

The ways I will approach this as i’m hoping to milestone the game, are;

 

1. Attempt it and get a feel for what its about first hehe.

2. If it proves tricky, awkward or whatever, then usually with difficulty spikes, I naturally want to try and beat it, so it will be a rinse a repeat process and knowing me, this will be a given.

3. I’m going into this having never played it first time around, so I have some knowledge and awareness of the trophy and its requirements, so naturally this will help.

4. IF it proves to be a real stumbling block for me and is a ‘plat breaker’ as they say then yeh, i’ll be frustrated, BUT, I can always leave it and go back to it with a fresh mindset and try again? It could be the classic negajinx moment where you can’t see the wood for the trees and then bam, you nail the trophy either a few hours/days or wks later first time!

 

I always go off the fun>frustration approach in games and I will always try them if I want to play the game, but for the sake of a trophy as annoying as it can be if they are tricky or maybe out of reach for me, i’m ok with it and I move on.

That trophy in titanfall was piss easy 😂 10 mins and it was done
